I called Robert on Sunday morning with an urgent repair needed to one of our outdoor sprinkler control valves. He quoted a fair price over the phone after seeing only two photos via text. He showed up same day (again, on a Sunday), and it definitely ended up being harder than either of us expected. Robert's old school, so he'll tell it to you exactly how it is - be forewarned. But he got it done in any case, and stuck to his pricing, despite my attempt to give him a few extra bucks. Can't ask for much more than that.

UPDATE FROM NOVEMBER 2024:
Another 5-star experience from Robert with a similar sprinkler repair for a different part of the yard. Super responsive, fair on pricing, and provided recommendations for some improvements in the future without being pushy at all. Absolutely recommend Robert and his colleague Donald for any sprinkler related work.

Robert was quick to respond to calls & texts and came out quick on a weekend to repair our sprinkler valves and emergency shut off knob. He did a 4 hour job in 90 degree heat of the day. He was friendly and explained things well. He was organized with website, calls/texts, paperwork, & supplies. I will definitely call him again with our sprinkler or landscaping needs!

It is challenging to find honest, hardworking folks these days that show up on time, do what they say they're going to do and don't try to milk you out of cash. Robert and his team are the epitome of professionalism and it was a delight to work with them. They not only addressed my original concerns, but they dove deep (dug deep) to find the root cause of several irrigation issues I was facing. I absolutely recommend them and look forward to working with them again.

I called Robert Walker Sprinkler Repair to repair a valve that wasn’t working. I called on Friday afternoon and he was able to come out on Saturday morning. He fixed it very fast at a much better price than I expected. He also took the initiative to check the water pressure (way too high). We’re going to consider a regulator to extend the life of the valves. No BS! Thanks Robert

Robert was very responsive. We needed trouble shooting on the sprinkler system at a new house we recently moved into & he was able to come out the next day & run through the system to get it in a better spot! We really appreciate his quick response, clear explanation of what we needed & fair pricing.

I used Robert to troubleshoot my whole irrigation system (Oak Park) and re-wire a sprinkler timer that had gone bad. He answered and returned calls promptly, was available on relatively short notice, showed up exactly when promised, did his work accurately and quickly, walked me through everything he had done and didn’t leave until he was 100% sure I was satisfied. Good guy, solid work. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him.

Robert came out to fix our irrigation system in September on a Sunday and did a great job. Recently the system had a small leak and he came out again to repair it at no charge. Thank you!

Robert used his test equipment to help identify various problems with our irrigation system. He then repaired our replaced equipment that was not working correctly. The irrigation system is working better than it had in the past. We will definitely call Robert in the future when our irrigation system is not working correctly.

Nothing but positives to say about Robert. After getting the run around from another guy who ripped me off, I had Robert come out to fix everything up. In no time he had a big job sorted out, addressed every issue I had, and finished it all very timely despite the poor weather. Fair prices and Robert kept a record of start and stop times. Would recommend to anyone who wants quality work done.

I have no idea where the negative reviews come from, must be a lot of entitled people out there who think landscape labor isn't worth a living wage and are afraid of someone telling them the truth. A lot of scammy contractors out there who rip people off with poor quality work and product when it's buried in the ground.

We are extremely grateful we ran into Robert at Home Depot today. He saved us! My husband accidentally broke our sprinkler system today! Home Depot didn’t have the part we needed and he overheard our dilemma..he first suggested where we could buy the part but then said he had the part in his truck and would sell it to us. He proceeded to put the part together , explain what my husband needed to do when he got home and threw in the extra parts we needed to get it fixed. We will definitely be contacting him for future projects. Thank you Robert!

Robert did a great job upgrading our sprinkler system. He was very quick, honest and had a top notch team to help. He left everything clean and in tip top shape. Very fair pricing, I highly recommend! We will have him back to do additional landscaping work.
