Called Buri Buri Plumbing regarding a water heater leaking and they responded in the same day. Technician was absolutely great. He diagnosed the problem quickly got me a new water heater. The best part was him working with his boss to get us a better price. We initially didn't think it was possible given everything is expensive now, but they were so understanding and gave us a price we can work with. Within couple hours the work was done. Couldn't be happier with the results. I never met any honest company like Bur Buri before, will definitely recommend to all my fiends and family. thank you so much to the owner Rich and the technician very honest and pleasant to work with.

Rich Campos (the owner) and his team are second to none. We needed a shower valve replaced and not only did Rich send a service person who was the most experienced in that work, but he spent a crazy amount of time on the phone narrowing down the best options for our needs. By "best" I mean most similar looking to the rest of our fixtures at a price point that matched our usage.

We found Buri Buri Plumbing to be very fairly priced (we did call around) - not to mention the fact that Rich is very friendly and refreshingly funny to boot. He is responsive via text, email and phone (he gave us his direct number!) and got back to us within a day of leaving a message.

Another quality that I so appreciate with Rich is his labor cost transparency. He went through the different aspects of this job with great detail and set very realistic expectations for us as to what the work would entail. There were absolutely NO SURPRISES in our final bill. This and the lack of cross-sell for different products I asked about (different water heating options, for ex) definitely instilled trust and assures us that they're the team to call when any plumbing needs arise!

Outstanding job fixing the breakage of an outside underground water line by a 10" diameter tree root. The company responded quickly, responsibly and creatively. They built a piping bridge over the tree root after arranging for a leak detection consult for which they prepared the site. They demonstrated quality of work, honesty and integrity, customer service and good team work. The project was completed with minimal property disruption and area re-asphalted. I had leaks in both the kitchen and shower and have had several fixes over the years for the shower and it would always leak again after a couple months. Buri Buri finally fixed the leak completely. I’m leaving the review well after ample time of the job and can say their work holds up.

Have you ever experienced the feeling of despair when your water heater goes out, right before you’re about to have visitors over for a gathering? Well hopefully you never have to, but if you do, use Buri Buri Plumbing.

When this happened to me, I called them, and the receptionist was able to dispatch a plumber within 2 hours. When he came out to install my new water heater, he was very professional and polite. I also appreciated his honesty and knowledge about my old water heater that went bad. He was very organized and methodical as he installed the water heater, without any problems.

A huge plus, is that evening, one of our guests is a general contractor, took a look at the new water heater, and said the job looked great and was installed correctly. It definitely put my mind at ease. Thank you, Buri Buri Plumbing!

My recirculating pump broke and was leaking so I went to Cal Steam to see if there are any possible replacements and saw two cans of Buri Buri there. I asked whether they do good work and the person told me that they have a fair price and do good job. I got burned (pun unintended) by another water heater company Bay Area Water Heaters so I'm fairly wary of water heater companies.

Turned out I can fully recommend this company. Rich called me and is very honest in his assessment and gave a fair price. I ended paying more because Paul had to also fix a problem made by Bay Area Water Heater and during the process I found out how bad the work was done by the Bay Area.

Overall I'm please with the work. Note that the price is not inexpensive but is fair so if you are looking for the cheapest plumber this is not it. But if it's your own house and you care about the work and is willing to pay fair price (not expensive just fair) then I can totally recommend this place.

WOW, what a fabulous job by Smelly Mels. It was a very big messy job, roots broke our pipes on the outside of the house. We had to replace pipe from our home to the mail line in the street. They took care of everything, permits, parking restrictions for the neighborhood, digging holes, jack hammering concrete, re patching, it was seamless for us. It was also during the holidays, and the boss (Travis) were very accommodating, great communication. The workers were very efficient and sweet, I gave them water and snacks, everyday, they worked very hard. Thank you SMP, we are happy with the job and the guarantee of your work.

Never fun having to replace your water heater that's leaking but SMP did an awesome job getting everything back up. Dominic did a great job replacing the heater but we ran into some issues with rust clogging up the kitchen sink and shower. Dominic and Mike took the time to get everything cleaned out and running properly.

Also same day service. Other places I called were more expensive and said they could fix same day but kept calling back and extending the time and then asked if I was free later in the week.

This is the third time I have used Smelly Mels on different properties. Each time Donie did an excellent job and was very informative as to his opinion on why the drain was clogged.

Please be forewarned. Smelly Mel's Plumbing does not deal in good faith when something goes wrong with their work. I would highly discourage hiring them for anything. We were awarded $1,000 in small claims court because Smelly Mel’s cashed a four year old check after a previous small claims judgement with them was settled. It has been a year, and they have broken the law as they have not paid the judgement. If they ever pay us what the judge awarded us, I will take down this review.

Great fast service called at 2:30pm. They said someone can be there in about an hour and Dominic arrived in about an hour. He was informative nice and through. Their rates are reasonable another service charged me double for the same services. Thank you so much!!

Took a while to repair/replace shower temperature valve as none of local stores had part and once they got part it didn’t work so had to reschedule to replace. But that was done today and now it works again. Have used Mel’s for all our plumbing needs for years and always satisfied.

They we professional and fast. Plus they made sure that the work needed on our neighbors property was done his yard restored to his satisfaction.

Tony Lopez & Donie Escobar we’re very knowledgeable. They did a great job. They took care of the problem & the quality of work was excellent. Tony’s honest advise on the situation was very very helpful. Although I invested more into the plumbing than my budget allowed. The peace of mind is priceless. Smelly Mel’s came through with great employees. Great job Tony & Donie!!!
