Last Saturday evening (!!) our tenant called with a toilet block and tank refill problem. Yikes. Saturday. I had to scramble to find a fix cause toilets won't wait until Monday.

I Googled S.F. plumbers. No one wanted to work weekends. One after another referred me to someone else. Finally reached Joe of First Response. He was very friendly and easy to talk with. He offered to come over immediately as he wasn't far away. Really? Yaaay.

Joe called from the site to give me the price before going ahead. From that first tenant call to "fixed and done" was probably about an hour and a half.

Maybe not the cheapest but certainly friendly, quick and easy to deal with. And no attitude.

First Response and Joe are now on my Contacts list. A Keeper.

Fast Response is my "go-to" plumber. I've been using them for several years, on recommendation of the proprietor of a neighborhood business I frequent, and they have never disappointed. Their availability is great, in emergencies; their work is exemplary; and their communication is clear and direct - I always know what caused the problem; what the options are; and what to expect before any work is done. I highly recommend.

Great experience and will definitely use them again. They were able to send someone out the same day I inquired to take a look and give us a free estimate; David was on time, friendly, and efficient. He gave us a super reasonable quote that was half the cost of the other company's quote AND told us we didn't actually need to replace our stuck main water shutoff valve -- he just twisted the bolt a little bit and it was fine. Really appreciate that kind of honesty and helpfulness! We then scheduled the actual replacement job for two days from then, and once again, David showed up on time and got the job done well and quickly.

5 stars. Always such a relief to find good, reliable tradespeople who aren't out to rip you off and know what they're doing.

Fast Response was quick to schedule a same day estimate and get the work done when they arrived. CJ was quick at diagnosing the issue and efficient at getting the work done for a fair price. Also as super nice guy. I have already scheduled then to do a few upgrades we were thinking about like a smart water shutoff. Highly recommend.

Very professional, very responsive. Tim from fast response was super friendly and nice. Highly recommend. I needed a shutoff valve placement and they gave me an estimate initially. I called them back when I got the valve and they came back and fitted the device .

Driver was parked in a private spot in front of my building. No worries, ill wait. As the van leaves, he unleashes expletives and insults, apparently he had to go around me as I was waiting for him to leave my spot. If this is the kind of attitude one can expect from this company during a brief encounter. Why would you ever do business with them?

Fast Response Plumbing & Rooter is a dependable and professional plumbing service. The team arrived quickly, diagnosed the issue accurately, and completed the repairs efficiently. Expert Rooter is the only plumber we call! The first time they came, they replaced the master shut off valve and Pressure Reducing Valve. Great work and fast. A few years later we needed to recess our water line for the fridge and then most recently they changed the water heater valve and all the connections for the water heater as it sprung a leak. Expert Rooter is BEST IN TOWN!!!!

The business owner is very professional and knows plumbing. He was very honest in his assessment of the issues, repaired the problems and gave tips for preventative measures. He’s our #1 plumber.

These guys did great work on our new gas line -- they took care of the permit, showed up right on time, did neat work by the book, coordinated well with our other contractors, and when we ran into a minor problem, they went above and beyond to take care of it. Highly recommended.

It’s an absolute pleasure to work with expert rooter. I was struggling with a plumbing project for a week and they did it in 4 hrs and at a reasonable cost. I hired Paul and his team to replace a toilet. They were very communicative while we were discussing the project. On the day of, they showed up on time, were friendly, knew what they were doing, answered all my questions, and replaced the toilet in about an hour. These guys are true professionals.
