Lawrence Smith was efficient, polite and respectful. He attended to my request with my wall heater during this cold winter months. He recommended the need of replacing my old heater which at least 20 years old.

Lawrence was awesome, we have worked with him before. He is such a gentleman that is someone your company should cherish. All of the workers that did the work! I cannot say enough, they were over the top and then some….I retired from the trades and I cannot say more than I wish all of these guys worked for me!! Everything turned out awesome and my wife said I told you that last furnace was a P. O. S. The first night after the install within the last 3 hours unbelievable, night and day! Thank you’re whole team for their dedication and expertise installing our system!! Thank you so much and I am looking forward to doing business in the future. Thank everyone on behalf of my wife and I and Happy Holidays!

Very disappointing experience. I received an initial quote nearly 2 weeks ago and followed up twice to schedule an appointment, but was told head office would call back—this never happened. We were away for the holidays then when we returned, I later booked a technician for 12/30 between 9am–12pm, but no one arrived or contacted us. When I called to check, I was told the appointment had never been assigned and that availability was now pushed out to February, with a tentative offer for the 8th. I had taken time off work specifically for this appointment. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism was unacceptable. I would not recommend this company.

Wonderful experience with the entire team. They were knowledgeable and very considerate. The team took their time to do the work thoughtfully and carefully, which we greatly appreciated. The price was reasonable and well worth it. Will gladly work with them again and recommend to others.

Lawrence and his team of professionals upgraded the electrical panel. They were quick to get the job done but more importantly they worked with me to satisfy PG&E requirements including sawing down two trees! The project took about 6 weeks to complete but they kept me informed throughout. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their electrical panel or troubleshoot an electrical problem.

Had my lower lateral sewer line replaced by Sugar Bear plumbing. The team did a great job led by Daniel Perez. The whole team was very knowledgeable and courteous, and moved the project along. Daniel Perez was great as he explained the process. Highly recommend Sugar Bear plumbing. Professional, courteous. prompt.

I’ve been using Ian and the team at Sugar Bear Plumbing for years, and they’ve never let me down. Always professional, reliable, and honest—whether it’s a big job or a quick fix, they show up on time and get it done right. It’s hard to find a company you can consistently count on, but Sugar Bear delivers every single time. Highly recommend!

Lawrence was great! He fixed our problem very quickly and was a super nice guy who helped me understand exactly what the issue was. I will definitely use this company again if any issues come up in the future. Now we will have a warm cozy Christmas with our heater working again.

Worked with sugar bear for a major electrical update, spending tens of thousands of dollars with them. The work the electricians did was good. Shoutout out to Ben! However, the administrative staff were difficult to work with. Timing around inspections were not communicated clearly and left me waiting at home when no one arrived on multiple occasions. The only time they were over communicative was when they were trying to collect payment.
I tried to share this feedback directly with the administrative staff and management and both were uninterested in what I had to say. There are many electricians in the Bay Area and it's too bad that the administrative staff is not honoring the work of the great electricians. -
Lawrence at Sugar Bear gave me several options to repair or replace my existing furnace. We had no heat, and they were able to put us on the schedule within 2 business days. All of the workers were polite, courteous, wore shoe covers, super thorough and knowledgeable. They even cleaned out the ducts. Also, we had to widen the opening for the new furnace and Sugar Bear got the carpentry work done the same week. The new furnace is better than ever. Really, this was a 5 star, white glove service experience. I highly recommend Sugar Bear.

Lawrence was extremely honest and professional. Although we weren’t able to install the new thermostat due to the old wiring, he clearly explained the issue instead of pushing a workaround that wouldn’t be right. He put the old thermostat back on and even took the time to educate me on how to properly seal the heater for better efficiency. I really appreciated his transparency, patience, and willingness to help. Highly recommend Sugar Bear Home Service.

They don't sell to the general public.

This is my go to place for repairs. Wonderful staff & they know their stuff.

I've been customer for about a year there and have bought bunch of parts. It was ok until one day I met new staff there. As usual I told my company name and our location. The guy who I talked to asked me for supervisor's name. That was first time when staff in that shop ask me this additional information. Since our company was founded several years ago we have changed our company structure and personal a lot and of course we have never update that information. So I didn't know what to answer for that question. When I was trying to explain to that guy that I'm regular customer and nobody asked me this info before, he interrupted me, raised his voice on me. He said in very rude form that he is the manager of that place and that was his shop (lol), he told me not to come there anymore. So I told I would tell all of my colleges not to come there anymore. He just didn't care. Conclusion: 1) there is no corporate standarts and code of conduct of how to interact with customers.
2) local "manager" is totally useless. Instead of resolve issues and work to attract buyers he makes conflict situation by himself and doesn't care about customer loyalty which is really bad for business.
3) there is no corporate mechanism of control and complaints for this sort of situations which is totally characterized this company. They just really don't care about their regular customer's needs. -
Friend professional guys that know about what they are selling.
