Overall great experience with Comfort City Mechanical. From setting up my appointment over the phone to showing up on time to begin the installation process all of the staff members were amazing. The technicians were on time, friendly, knowledgeable and took extra precautions when working in my home due to covid. They completed the installation of my new air conditioning unit in a timely manner and even followed up a week later to make sure everything was running smoothly. 10/10 I would highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

We hired them to work on a repair on our water heater and everything was done very professionally and in a timely manner. The technician doing the repair, AL, was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and organized. They do quality work with reasonable rates. I had a plumbing issue- a backed up kitchen sink and bathroom. I called ARS/ Rescue Rooter who gave me an astronomical quote of $46,000 to redo the cast iron pipes under my house because according to them, our entire plumbing system needed to be redone ASAP. We called a couple other plumbers and they gave us their estimate based on what ARS told us. Our 3rd call was to Comfort City Mechanical Inc, because they are family owned, local, and they sponsor of my kids’ public school in the neighborhood- The Language Academy. Frank at Comfort City came over promptly with his team and did an entire scope of their own, and assured me that our pipes are in tact and that we did NOT need to redo our entire house plumbing. Every other plumber we met had quoted me based on what ARS told me the problem was. Comfort City was the FIRST to say no, let's do our own assessment. They saved us TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars and were able to fix our problem quickly and were kind, honest, and genuinely helpful.

We have a Condo in the La Jolla area. Comfort City just performed a number of jobs for us that included changing out all the angle stops in the Unit and replaced the on/off main water shut off values (Hot/Cold) for the unit. Most of these valves were frozen and really needed to be replaced. Our on/off water valves for the unit were in a closet that had a stackable washer - dryer unit which needed to be taken out to replace the valves. It was very difficult to extract the unit from the closet to replace the valves, but they got it done with a smile on their faces. Comfort City is a wonderful family owned Company and they have quality people from the Administrative staff as well as all of their Technicians. They also have performed AC work for me in the past and do wonderful work on AC units as well. I can't say enough about these folks and would recommend them for your Plumbing/AC/Water heater-Boiler needs. By the way, they do not just do residential work but Commercial as well. They do it all!

Franklin and John were amazing and put my concerns at ease. John came to my home and spent a considerable amount of time inspecting my HVAC unit in detail. He also took the time to educate me on the important points I should be looking out for regarding my HVAC unit maintenance.

It's no fun having a water heater out or a furnace stop working on you. But if it does happen, I can't recommend Comfort City enough! I've had exceptional service each time. Frank has been communicative on what to expect with techs and timelines and quick to schedule someone to help us. Each tech that has come out has been incredibly courteous, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Comfort City has some professional skilled people who solved our house problems quickly. Highly recommend!

Service was generally fine and executed quickly, but the work is subbed out to local installers so you aren’t dealing with the same people at every step in the process. Loses accountability. Might as well just hire the local group if they have similar warranty.
On duct air testing, insulation was blown all over the house and nothing was done to prevent or clean it up.
I also explained multiple times to sales rep that I wanted to pay final invoice with a different payment method, they acknowledged this was fine and would be an option upon completion, but Sears charged the same card without notice and now I have to deal with their accounting department.
So, typical story of over promised and under delivered. Par for the course these days with service.
