We had a very disappointing experience with Singh & Air. I contacted Preet to get an estimate for replacing all the ducts in my home, rodent proofing, disinfection, and minor attic cleaning. An estimator (not Preet) came out, and we agreed to proceed. We received a written estimate that included all the work discussed and stated a two-year warranty.
Before the work began, I confirmed multiple times with Preet that all ducts—upstairs and downstairs—would be replaced. He repeatedly reassured me that his team was experienced and capable of completing the job. After paying the deposit, Preet confirmed a team of four workers, as indicated on the quote, would be coming.
On the day of the job, only two workers arrived. We confirmed with them that all ducts in the home would be replaced, but due to a significant language barrier, the worker simply nodded and said, “all ducts change.” I called Preet to confirm when he would arrive, as he had said he would come at noon to check progress.
The workers began removing the old ducts from the attic, but when I asked about starting downstairs, one appeared confused and said something like, “no, I don’t know.” I immediately called Preet, who said he would arrive in a couple of hours.
Later in the day, Preet arrived, and we explained the situation. He stated that they do not replace downstairs ducts and never have. We reminded him that we had communicated the full scope of work multiple times—upstairs and downstairs duct replacement, rodent proofing, disinfection, and minor attic vacuuming—and that he had reassured us repeatedly. After discussion, he said they could not do the downstairs work and suggested we hire another company.
At payment, we explained we would not pay full price for incomplete work. We agreed to pay half the original amount for the work completed in good faith. A few days later, we hired another company to replace the downstairs ducts.
After turning on the thermostat, we noticed inconsistent airflow. Investigating the attic, I discovered that the new ducts installed by Singh Heating & Air were routed incorrectly. Tracing the ducts from the split system confirmed that the upstairs and downstairs ductwork had been mixed up (from the attic).
I called Preet immediately, who said the installers had followed the original duct layout and replaced it how they found it. I told him that we have had the same ducts in place since the house was built in the early 2000s so there is no way that is how they found it. He said they typically do not service my city but would “come by one of these days” to inspect it. When I asked for a confirmed date and time, he said he would get back to me. I also reminded him that I wanted the work they installed fixed, as the two-year warranty applies.
I gave Preet several days to respond. When I received no reply, I called him, but he did not answer. Despite multiple attempts via phone, email, and certified mail, I have received no response.
This issue needs to be resolved immediately. Singh Heating & Air must be held accountable for the work they performed.

They are awesome! My AC stopped working middle of the night, reached out to other companies, in the morning, to get my AC repaired and everyone else was unavailable or booked. Singh Heating Air got me in quickly. Very good communication and both repairmen were friendly. They explained the issue in a simple way to understand. After they fixed the issue, even texted me couple hours later to ensure everything was working fine. Good customer service. Definitely would recommend.
