A technician came out to service our A/C. They added freon and cleaned the coils. The problem with our A/C continued and they came out again. This time the technician told us that there was nothing they could do and that the unit was too small for the home. We thought this was odd, as we have never had a problem before and all of the townhomes have the same A/C unit. We got a second opinion from another company and they were able to solve the problem.

My heater stopped working and my home warranty company American Home Shield send one of their contractors who couldn't fix my unit and therefore my claim got denied. With 2 little kids at home and cold weather I was very frustrated with the first company's inability to repair it. I requested a second opinion and that's when E & A mechanical was dispatched, the technician. Karen came to the rescue and showed up 8 am on the dot and literally fixed my unit in 15 minutes.
The unit had a faulty part which he readily had in his van.
My wife and kids were super relieved after the heater started working immediately. I was on the fence about keeping my AHS warranty active but after this experience I definitely will keep it since I was very pleased with the result. Thank you Karen and thank you E & A.

I had a scheduled appointment between 8am-11am on Monday 12/22 the tech arrived at 8:05am with ladder in hand ready to check out my heating unit located in the attic. The Tech accessed the issue replaced a small part which he had in his truck and I had heat working immediately he was completed with everything and on his way by 8:40am -- Great Service, Prompt Arrival, Tech Efficient, Great Communication.

I had E & A Mechanical Inc assigned to fix the leak that was coming from my AC unit. I let them know that even though I had already changed the air filter the leak hadn’t stopped. The technician arrived on time and he fixed the issue and left. However, the gunk that he cleared from the air conditioner located in the attic, which is next to the guest bathroom, all the debris that was cleared got all over the walls, doors, door jambs, mirror, both sinks, picture frames and towels on my guest bathroom. I had the door closed to my guest bathroom at the time so I didn’t notice it before he left and had given them a 5 star rating. When I called their dispatch office to let them know about it they did not once offer an apology they acted like it was no big deal. They sent the technician back to ‘clean’ it but he also did not express any concern or gave an apology. Instead he tried to blame me for not changing the air filter and maintaining it which was not the case in the first place. This was the worst customer service experience with an HVAC contractor I’ve ever encountered. Never will use them.

While other companies suggested I replace my furnace, which was functioning perfectly, Joseph pointed out that if it was working well, there was no need for replacement. He didn’t push for any unnecessary services regarding my older water heater or furnace. Joseph explained that even though my old air conditioner was larger, my home didn’t actually require that size. He recommended a unit that was half a size smaller, which was also a more budget-friendly option. I’d heard similar advice from another company, so I felt confident in his recommendation, despite my initial hesitation about the smaller unit. Additionally, he suggested a few modifications to help my system run more efficiently, and he didn’t charge me extra for that. He also offered me a better price than the other companies! About six months later, I needed a small repair for a water leak from the inside furnace unit. The company promptly came out to fix it. Then, nearly a year later, I realized that one of the installation technicians had accidentally cracked the cover of my sump pump while working on the outside unit. I called them, expecting some resistance since I had no proof and it had been some time since the installation. To my surprise, they came out, inspected the issue, and ordered a new, more durable sump pump cover at no extra charge. This review may be long, but it’s essential for people to know that this company offers fair prices, does not pressure you into unnecessary purchases, and is trustworthy and reliable. great service, very friendly and helpful. our ac stopped working and our home warranty sent Airtronics Air Conditioning Corporation to check it out. joseph did the first inspection and gave all the info needed to the warranty company so they could approve a new unit. i worked a lot with darrell in the office, and he really helped us talk to the warranty company, who wanted to just repair our old ac instead of replacing it. the new unit was installed fast and they didn’t leave any mess. i highly recommend and will call again if i have any ac problems in the future.
