I had the most horrid experience with the visit. Mike, who was the one who made the visit came in with an attitude. We got the quote and he was 'generous' enough to offer to waive off the visit charges because 'we looked serious enough to get the work done'. The quote seemed expensive to start off and he was being 'generous' again to offer discounts. After some questions on the work and a mere suggestion that the total quote is on the higher side, Mike took offense and suddenly changed tact and said now he would charge the visit (after first himself suggesting that he would waive it off). I was so pissed off by then that I just paid for the visit and asked him to leave. With this attitude, I am not sure how he is in the service industry.

BTW the next quote we got was at least 50% cheaper!

Edit, the reply was a templated one asking me to contact. This despite me having already written to them directly and no one even bothered contacting me!

Edgar at Aleco Electric was very informative and answered all questions and concerns. He quickly responded with a detailed estimate of the work I need done. I will definitely be doing business in the near future.

Asked for an estimate to retrofit (bypass ballasts) our existing florescent light fixtures to accept LED bulbs, and what I got was a 7k estimate for all new fixtures, thanks for listening to what we were asking for, we received a 2k estimate to retrofit so we will go with them, only reason for the extra star was that they actually showed up.

I scheduled for someone to come out in person to provide an estimate. Three days later, they didn’t show up in person and instead called during the scheduled time frame and provided an estimate over the phone. When I called a few days before, I was told that Aleco does not provide estimates over the phone and that a tech needed to provide the estimate on site. The estimate I was given on the phone was $390 for a single outlet that they never came out to inspect or look at. The estimate is more than double the cost of other companies that come in person for a free estimate. The individual I spoke to on the phone wasn’t friendly at all. I made the mistake of only looking at the high review ratings on Google when initially scheduling an appointment and not looking at the lower reviews for the company. I would not recommend this company.

The service tech that came out was very nice very cordial very professional I was told when I set the appointment they were going to come out and find out why my stove breaker was tripping and the AC trip was tripping and he came out he looked at the stove just glanced at it didn't even look at the connections or anything ask her where the panel was and then gave me an estimate for $8,000 to replace my panels I haven't told you not supposed to replace the panels just the breakers and stuff that are in them so I don't know if that's true or not but I would not go with these people because I was told yesterday that they were going to come and diagnose my oven or my stove not my oven and all they did was tell me I need new panels that's it so for $128 he didn't tell anything I didn't already know..
And I called today to complain and I'm being told we don't diagnose appliances you need to get a appliance repair man why didn't the lady tell me that yesterday no they wanted $128 which they got in cash. Thanks guys I'm permanently totally disabled and I don't have $128 to be thrown around. Being promised one thing and not getting it and then getting charged for it anyway. Older people stay away from this company and young ones too

Nothing short of outstanding! Aleco was responsive, scheduling the inspection within just a few days. George, their technician arrived on time and was knowledgable, informative and kind.
I am delighted to have found a company for my electrical needs, large and small!

Started out great. Next day consult, went well and thought price was fair for brand new wiring and install of ceiling fan. They said would be in next day to install between 8-9 a.m. They called at 7:50 a.m. said they would be in between 9 and 11 a.m. That was a little frustrating, therefore the 4 stars. After job was done, they also forgot to turn on one of my breakers. Overall though, a job well done.

Mando and Mario did an excellent job installing my EV charging unit . They arrived on time and explained how they would complete the project. My personal property was draped with plastic to keep dust particles away.They were very neat and tidy, as they worked harmoniously together.
This is my first experience with Aleco Electric and I would definitely recommend or use them again!!

George was outstanding. He was personable, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Your prices are just way too high. For four recessed lights and an outlet installation, Two Weekstake-home pay was too much.

I’m happy with the new lighting, the dimmer switch, job done on time, your technicians were friendly.
I’m disappointed with the cleanup, they swept up, but left a lot of debris on my hallway floor, living room floor and floor lamp. They watched me as I grabbed a broom and swept up the debris, I would think they would have a clue that I was not satisfied with their cleaning and did more.
I went out to my driveway to find litter from Home Depot, and water bottle cap

Great service really nice guys came out helped with a circuit acting weird in the master bedroom. Got it fixed in 20 minutes. Very knowledgeable. Price was more than fair. If your local to Lincoln and Rockland would definitely recommend calling them for any electrical issues.

Ridiculous pricing quoted me $7000 to replace my circuit breaker that they said had to be replaced during their $130 estimate. called out another company the next day so said i needed one breaker not the whole panel and it was $400. This company is a rip off

One call to Aleco today is all I needed to get my problem fixed. I want to whole hearty want thank them for their honesty and integrity for helping me. I will call them again if I have any electrical questions. God Bless you guys. Ron Garcia

Very poor communication. Can’t comment on their skill level as they did not show up at the scheduled time and ultimately canceled. Hire at your own risk

I received excellent service from Aleco Electric from start to finish. They upgraded my electric panel, added a plug and wired for bathroom lights. Communication was great. Scheduling was easy. The workers were professional, friendly, efficient. They did a great job. Even neighbors commented on how hard they worked and how professional they were. Would definitely recommend them.

Best thing was the quick service - did not have to wait for a week or more.

Edgar Jimenez came to give me an estimate on setting up a proper outlet for a charging station for my new Tesla Juniper . He explained everything in such a way that I understood clearly how the system should be. The work is guaranteed for 10 years and the fee is quite comparable and justified. Very professional. It was a smooth and great experience. I would highly recommend Aleco Electric and I would use them again for my next project.
