I had a wonderful experience with this company. I've actually had them out three times. The first was to do the LADWP free inspection and new thermostat installation. And then early this summer to give a quote on a failing A/C. This week I had them install a whole new system. My wife and I were very pleased with the whole experience. Jose and Bismark and one other fella spent a long day on a very hot day installing our system. They were nothing but professional, courteous, and conscientious about their work. They made sure we understood what they were doing and why. They were very careful about covering our floors and stairs so as not to leave dirt or damage anything and were very good about thoroughly cleaning up afterward. They also were always on time and always wore a mask. I know from whence I speak; this summer I had laminate floors installed, new attic insulation, backyard landscaped with artificial grass and I had problems with all of these contractors in one way or another (punctuality, masks, cleanliness, quality work, etc.) So, it was a breath of fresh COLD air with Jose's crew. And, lastly, I'll add that I had called out five different A/C companies to give me a quote. A1rKare had the most competitive price. That was another big plus! I would not hesitate calling them.

The heat wave kicked in at 105 degrees and of course my air conditioning stopped working at 7pm. I went on Angie's List and at 8:30pm Martha from A1R Kare Pros called me. She told me her technician, Jose, would be out at 6am the following morning. At 5:58 am, Jose was at my door step. Very knowledgeable and professional. He explained my problem, fixed it and had me up and running within minutes. I was very impressed with Martha's call the night before explaining the charges and their response coming out first thing in the morning. Really appreciate good customer service.

Even accounting for labor, a fair high-end estimate would have been around $100-$150. Instead, I was charged $700 for this basic service.
This kind of pricing is exploitative and feels like highway robbery. It's clear they took advantage of the situation rather than providing an honest service. I strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs-there are far more reputable HVAC providers who won't take advantage of customers.

Very nice and polite guys. It had been 2 years since I last serviced my AC or heater. My AC is located in the roof so unfortunately there was some damage due to weather but the guys helped me find a solution to keep my AC going until I can fix everything. Now my AC is working and I know the repairs I need to complete to prevent it from overheating. Costs were transparent and broken down which I really appreciate. I will continue to hire them in the future.
