STAY AWAY !!! These people are shysty and lairs and ridiculously expensive! I would give negative stars if I could. I had them come out for water damage in a tiny 500sqft room and the field personnel told me they would place only a couple items of equipment which would cost around $300/day. They were so unprofessional I had them come remove their equipment the following morning. Then I received an invoice for $1,998 and charged for 2 days. When I asked for a break on the price they sent me a "letter of intent to put a lien on my home". They are such idiots they didn't even put the correct name on the letter. I ended up going with another company who placed twice as many pieces of equipment for less than half the cost. Do yourself a favor and do your research unlike I did!

When I first hire them, I was already warned by a few that they will PUT A LIEN THE PROPERTY as they tend to do that on many projects. Their moving fee is expensive and they are not professional nor are they responsive to your request. It took them 3 months to respond to my text message and send me an itemized email. In the meanwhile, they charged me for interest and fees. I am glad I did not go through the whole project with them.

I had a roof leak on a Friday during the big storms in April! My HOA’s roof company couldn’t get out to my property until Sunday! I called Justin and he had his guys out Friday night to tarp the roof. He was able to get my HOA the needed documents quickly so I could get my roof tarped! Great response, professional service, and quality work! Thanks Justin!

We had a flood at our home on July 5th. Devin from Hometown Restoration came out to help. He was awesome. He found the issue, got the water vacuumed up with the carpet cleaning machine, and put in dehumidifier to stop mold from growing. He was a huge help for us and I definitely recommend Hometown.

I need to give a positive shout-out to Christian B. who came to the rescue to turn off the water to my condo building I'm renting. It was over the 4th of July when our sink pipe bursted. I was in panic for 2 hours while my neighbors and I were running around the building trying to figure out how to turn off the building water; while dumping buckets in the bathroom on the 2nd floor, and trying to manually hold the pipe closed. I was so frantic I called about 20 places for help but since it was a holiday nobody picked up or could come out for hours. Christian was so calm the entire time and said he was on his way even though he wasn't the plumber... He facetime'd his boss and ended up turning off the water for us and stayed to talk on the phone to my property manager afterward. I'm in the market to buy a home this year so I'll definitely keep this company top of mind. Christian to the rescue - thank you x 1,000,000.

From my first call, I was treated like a customer should be. Kate took my information and sent Joseph Montoya. He spent more than 2hrs checking my tankless w.h. Diagnosed the problem and gave me the proper part # which I bought online for a reasonable price. When I received the part, the office sent him out within an hour to complete the repair. Joseph was great, efficient and communicative. I will use Hometown Plumbing in the future.

This company went above and beyond to help us when we had a roof leak upstairs. The water went down walls and underneath our upstairs floor into the ceiling downstairs. Luckily, Hometown Restoration came out same-day and really took care of everything. They communicated with the insurance company, put a tarp on the roof to prevent more water from coming in, put in dehumidifiers to dry out our home, and made sure everything was taken care of. I am so thankful I called Hometown Restoration. They have my strongest of recommendations.

If you've ever had a pipe burst in your home, you know its absolutely terrible. In an extremely stressful situation, Hometown Restorstion took amazing care of all of our belongings. They made sure our house was completely dry and checked in with us everyday throughout the dry out. We appreciate what a good company they are.

Had a water leak in the bathroom that ran into the hallway under my vinyl flooring. I called Hometown Restoration in Vista to access the damage both for the flooring and mold. After consulting with their technician we decided not to use our insurance. Which they were pushing us to do . More money in it for them and more than likely a higher premium for my wife and I.After deciding to not to completely gut my bathroom we decided on a humidifier a two fans to dry out the area. Keep in mind I removed the flooring , toilet and vanity. The technician basically just set up the fans and used his hand held water and mold detector to the wall and floor for a couple of seconds. Gave us a estimate of 1100.00 . It ended up costing us over 2500.00 for very minimal work. They said they also charged by the sq foot of air the fans and humidifier blew. RIDICULOUS!! There are many choices out there , DO NOT USE HOMETOWN RESTORATION IN VISTA ! Beware Carlsbad , Oceanside and surrounding area. Thieves!!

Amazing! Give these guys a call if your in trouble. Unfortunately as a real estate broker and investor/property owner I dread having to make calls to restoration companies and the work and stress that goes into the issue. One of my properties in San Diego had a pipe burst in the bathroom and it was too far for my go to restoration guy/company to go to as they are in the IE so I hoped on yelp to find another one closer.

I was very impressed by Justin, he answered right away and we set an appointment the next day to assess the situation and ultimately start that same day. The crew was very good and professional and I have seen the good and bad. They were quick and did extremely good work and were done in about a week. These are weird times and I thank you guys to making this a stress free issue. I always like working with contractors that I don't have to monitor.

Hometown Restoration was amazing. We had a roof leak. Hometown restoration came out on Christmas Eve to give me a roof tarp and put in a dehumidifier and fans to help us get the ceiling and walls dry. They were professional and took great care of us.

Mike at Hometown was so great at getting to my house right after a pipe burst was detected and quickly locating and taking care of damaged floors and drywall. He worked really hard and got the damaged areas dried and cleaned up after mold was identified. Mike’s communication & promptness were phenomenal. He quickly and efficiently put all the pieces in place to dry out my carpet AND walls to make sure there was no black mold as a result. Hometown Restoration came out to our home to help us with a pipe burst in our restaurant. When they arrived there was 1.5 inches of water on the floor. Hometown was excellent.

They got all the water out quickly and set up drying equipment. We have liberty mutual and hometown worked directly with them to make sure we had our policy covered.

They used special drying equipment to ensure they didn’t have to remove drywall which reduced the time for repairs. Overall I am so grateful we chose hometown restoration.

The mitigation team did an excellent job from scheduling, to inspection and clean up, and working with the insurance seamlessly. Good communication and they protected the house and where they had to work and walk.
