But when I contacted Vista Carpet Cleaning, Frederick got back to me within minutes. He was very clear about what the carpet cleaning process would involve and set up an appointment right away. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I have had with a professional company. Firstly, my appointment was scheduled for 10am, which the cleaners called and let us know the day of they would be about 2 hours late. After waiting for hours and having to call the company multiple times due to their lack of communications, the cleaners showed up around 2pm (4 hrs after our original appointment time). I was looking to deep clean 3 rooms, a landing, and stairs— a 1500+ square feet job. To my shock, we received a call after only 45 minutes, saying the cleaners were finished the job. Upon inspection, the carpet looked almost the same as before they had come, and I could easily see even the small stains that had not been taken care of. It was obvious the cleaners had just dragged their carpet streamer across the carpet, which I could’ve and done myself for much cheaper, and done a much better job… After discussing with the manager on the phone about the quality of their “deep clean” service, the cleaners threw some more solution on a few of the stains and called it a day. Five hours of time wasted and $300 later, the carpet looks almost exactly the same, stains and all… maybe if your carpets are already clean, they will do an ok job… unfortunately for me, I was expecting a thorough cleaning job for the amount I was being charged, with no such luck. Lack of communication, professionalism, and the result of the job have earned this company one star from me.
