Vista Valley Tree Service is my go to Tree trimming and removal company. They have helped me in my primary residence as well as my rental properties and a recent flip. I am a repeat client of over 5 years. They are efficient, timely and value priced. They give a written estimate and there are no surprises. Licensed and insured. Juan does his job well and Elizabeth in the office is responsive and friendly.

Fantastic work. David and his crew were prompt and professional! The pricing was the initial shocker! They were the best price, AND fully licensed and insured! I had 2 huge palms right next to the house. Nothing was damaged in their removal. Not the house, nor the sprinklers in the lawn! It was the best experience I have had with tree service. I highly recommend Vista Valley Tree Service!

Unprofessional. They broke so many beautiful plants that were at the proximity of the trees. Just rush. Rush, rush

I've had them trim and clean up my backyard plants several times and have been very pleased with how professional and efficient they are. Usually in and out within an hour. In my case, they have to go thru my house (no backyard access outside the house) and have always been very careful to not damage anything and minimize what debris they bring in. They clean up after themselves very well too. And finally, they have very competitive pricing and are quick to schedule the work. Would definitely use them again!

Highly recommend! Professional, courteous & prompt. Very competitively priced, too! I love that they didn’t gouge simply because of our zip code, as so many service companies do. They did a beautiful job on our very large CA Oak, Pepper tree & our Palms, but also did an AMAZING job of clean up. For all that they trimmed, there wasn’t an ounce of debris left for us to clean. Vista Valley is my new go to. Thank you!

Great service. We have a huge old rubber tree that needs to be trimmed every couple of years - so many leaves. I highly recommend Vista Valley for tree trimming. They responded quickly with their bid and the friendly office staff called the next day to schedule the appointment. The trimmers arrived on time with their boom truck, chipper and dump truck to haul away all the debris. They also cleaned up the leaves that had already fallen. Vista Valley did a great job at a fair price. I’ve already recommended them to some of my friends.

The tree removal itself went well and the workers were very respectful people, however:

They left a lot of pine needles which we had to spend hours clean up.

More importantly, the workers must be more careful when working at residences. While hauling away branches they caused quite some damage.

- broken irrigation pipe (fixed day of but broke again a few days later).

-downspout and stucco wall both visibly damaged on our recently painted home.

-broken garden lamp.

The team that trimmed our Canary Date Palm tree was on time, very courteous, did a fantastic (best job ever on this tree in 20 years of being trimmed) job. We are very happy and will use their services on all our landscaping needs in the future.

Vista valley tree service arrived on time and got right to work removing our liquid amber trees. They did a fantastic job and removal. Definitely recommend them.

Okay. The crew showed up on time, which I appreciate. However, I now think they were, are, quite unfamiliar with this type of tree, a Calliandra. The note that Juan left had the tree limbs being reduced, cut back, about 3 feet. I tried to explain that the tree should be laced out. I thought they understood. I was not able to stand and watch while they worked. When I did have a chance to observe the damage was done to one side. Therefore making it balanced the had to do it all.😕
I paid the bill and in time the tree will recover.
My bad for not having an arborist trim this tree.

Vista trimmed my 23 palm trees. Price was fair. They said they would be at my house between 1 & 3. They called at 3:15 and said they had to reschedule for the next morning. Wasted my afternoon….Their crew showed up early the next morning. They did a great job and took extra care protecting the small shrubs and plants. They also did an excellent job cleaning up the property afterwards. If they had communicated better on the first day I wouldn’t hesitate to give them 5 stars. I will use them again next year.

I've been using Vista Tree for 3 palms in front of my house over ten years now. They always do an excellent job of trimming and cleanup. The office staff are very efficient with scheduling the tree service for me.

They do a great job trimming my tall queen palms and birds of paradise. I have been a repeat customer for last 8 years. I like they have a big crew and all the equipment to get job done fast.

Great price for tree removal- quick and efficient. The guys we’re definitely in a hurry to get to the next job and they we’re almost upset when I pointed out they had forgotten to do one part of the estimate - to remove a bird of paradise from the path of the electrical lines. They quickly chopped about 10 leaves down. Not sure that was worth the extra $60 paid for cutting 10 leaves but the whole price for everything else was reasonable.

On time and did what was agreed upon somewhat. Only slight bummer was that they used some of my equipment without asking, didn't cover irrigation valves and pool heater next to one of the two trees to be removed. Deep cleaning now on my part which could have been prevented by covering with plywood, they didn't lay down plywood around my pool where the stump grinder was to travel. As a result the grinder tracks left lots of black treadmarks that require a pressure hose to remove. All of these issues were easily preventable by taking simple precautions and communicating with me, the client.

We had two 50ft Juniper trees cut down and removed by Vista Valley Tree Service. They were quick, professional and enjoyable to work with. They also did a good job of cleaning up before they left. Great job!

Almost no plants :( can’t call this a garden center. Maybe they are about to close it?

I dislike writing negative reviews, but they don't even have garden seeds here. I mean that should be the bare minimum.

I phoned 4 Walmarts to find out if this garden center was open because it says online it is closed. No one answered the phone at any of the Walmarts. The people who worked there said they have the same problem. It rings in the fitting room or something?? I drove to the garden center in Oceanside and asked there because the garden pots I wanted were in Sam Marcos. No one knew anything!
