Otter was able to respond to my request for service on my furnace promptly and arrived on time. They quickly diagnosed the problem and even were able to fix it without having to replace any parts! They also adjusted the gas flow setting to better match my duct sizing. The furnace used to always short cycle (turning off and on for 5-8 minute intervals, over and over). Now it stays on until the proper temperature is reached. I will be sure to contact Otter first the next time I experience issues with my system or want to upgrade/replace!

Ali was very helpful in suggesting the need to cut and rejoin the PVC drain pipes to replace our furnace neutralizer cartridges. I was hoping that there would be an easy way. We still need to work on why there seems to be excess exhaust effluent. Anyways, he did not charge me for the visit which was kind.

I reached out to Otter for maintenance on both of my HVAC systems and set up was fast and easy. They had an appointment next day and did the work on my systems fast and funded a few minor issues. I had another company come out the week before and they recommended 5k in work but Otter verified no of the items were a real issue and my system was fine. I contacted Otter HVAC for a filter replacement and HVAC repair. From the very beginning, they were prompt and professional. Ali was my main point of contact, and he thoroughly explained the costs and timeline during our Zoom meeting. Andrew, who handled the necessary permits, was also very knowledgeable and helpful.

The standout was Steve, who performed the work onsite. He arrived exactly on time and was well-prepared. During the repair, it turned out that additional parts were needed, and Steve made several trips to get them. Although the job was initially estimated to take a few hours, he spent extra time ensuring everything was done perfectly, all without showing any frustration. He patiently explained how the system worked after the repair and cleaned up the workspace before leaving.

Steve’s professionalism clearly shows why Otter HVAC is building such a great reputation so quickly. If I ever need HVAC service again, I will definitely reach out to them and request Steve. We scheduled Otter to come look at our furnace after it broke. We had a 50 year old furnace that had a faulty gas valve. Otter recommended a replacement after looking for the broken part (which doesn’t exist since the furnace was too old). The quote was very reasonably priced for the replacement. They arrived on time and were done in just a few hours. They were very respectful and knowledgeable. Definitely good, honest people. He even took the time to check for carbon monoxide throughout the house and made sure our own alarms are working. The furnace is working great, just as well as our last one! Will definitely be calling Otter first next time we need any work done.

Otter HVAC is excellent. Great communication from the start, transparent quote, followed through on the visits, professional guys. We needed to repair or replace our 30 year old gas wall furnace. They gave me options, and explained them patiently. Ali and the other repair person came within a day off the original quote to install the furnace, and they brought and installed a compatible thermostat for us. They even came back - without charge!- to reinstall a different thermostat when the tenants wanted a programmable one. Best company. I recommend them. I'll call them for my HVAC and electrical needs.

Great experience with Ali and his teammate Mike on a furnace replacement at our rental unit! Upon assessing that they no longer make a relay/circuit board for our (37yr old) unit, we decided it's time to get this unit replaced. Contract signing is 100% electronic, appointment was scheduled quickly, the work was completed on time, renter is happy that the blower motor no longer keeps running all day! I hired Otter for a minor job, just replacing and swapping around some Lutron smart dimmers & switches, hoping to resolve a problem with flickering outdoor lights. I had tried to do this myself, and succeeded with a couple switches, but got confused by the wiring in some others. So I finally gave up and decided to hire a professional.

I had 3 companies come do consultations and provide quotes. I liked the guy from Otter the best, because he seemed to understand the problem and seemed honest. An electrician from a different company was clearly BSing me, and I didn't want to deal with someone who wouldn't be up front about what details they're unsure about. Otter also gave a very reasonable quote, compared to another company that also seemed very competent, but was twice the cost.

We scheduled for a few days later. Otter showed up on time and did the job efficiently. The main electrician doing the work was really nice and respectful and did the job well. I would definitely recommend them. At least for me, they provided good value and seemed to just want to do the job well and make sure I was happy.
