Ken is the man! Our project included sod, hardscape, irrigation, lighting, and plants. Bowmans's quote was very reasonable and it's clear they know their stuff. Ken is a rare breed of contractor with good communication skills. He didn't mind me frequently throwing him curveballs and looking over his shoulder throughout the project. We are thrilled with the results and look forward to spending time in our yard for years to come.

Ken did it again! He and his team worked so fast and efficiently, even in the freezing rain we had this week.

His craftsmanship, attention to detail and just amazing quality work is unmatched in the area.

His team made our fence-line amazing and sturdy. He cleaned up afterwards and even moved and tacked my irrigation line along the house to make it look neat and clean.

Bowman Landscaping did an awesome job on our hardscape! We waited 5 1/2 years after our fire rebuild to tackle our backyard and in 2 weeks they executed our plan to perfection. Could not be happier with the results! The pavers/rock/turf just look beautiful. Ken and his team were great to work with. Arrived on time every morning and cleaned up every afternoon. Great communication as well. Very knowledgeable and skilled professionals. Highly recommend!

After deciding to get rid of our large backyard lawn, we hired Austin Parnow to plan and create an attractive, relaxing new outdoor space that would require low water and maintenance. Since we know very little about plants or design, we relied on Austin to make all the specific design and plant suggestions, and we were thrilled with the plan he delivered. Even more exciting was watching the building of the project over the course of several months by his skillful, hardworking crew. The finished result exceeded our expectations.

Austin and his team did an excellent job with our project. Austin listened to our desires and respected our decisions when we pulled back from a complete back yard redo. We did end up having him work on the front yard as well. We have been very happy with all of the work and have received numerous compliments from friends, family, neighbors, and people that walk our neighborhood. We are very happy with the quality of the craftsmanship in regards to the hardscape and the selection of the softscape.

He transformed our large, gently sloping backyard full of mismatched brick, unsightly lava rock, and crumbling deck and trellis, into an award winning backyard (first place CA Landscape Contractors Assoc. No. Coast, design/build large residential installation). Our yard is now a beautiful, functional, terraced yard, two seating areas, pond with cascading water feature, and BBQ area. The project consisted of site grading, relocating large boulders, rock wall, steps installed with recessed lighting, natural bluestone pavers, underground irrigation, and per his suggestion, an innovative material for retaining walls capped with bluestone for additional seating. The stunning design is enhanced with thoughtful plant selections. We were so pleased with his work on our backyard that we had him design our front yard also.

I needed help! I will be honest that I have a black thumb. I attempted to landscape my backyard and things were overgrown and a mess. I also wanted to improve an area around my deck and add pavers. My budget was a budget and Canepa respected it and did not try to upsell. They provided honest pricing, accurate estimates and detailed everything for me. The crew was hardworking and personable. I would have never have been able to do what they did in that amount of time. True professionalism from the owners, the office and the crew. Highly recommend!

Canepa Landscaping did a great job (2nd time hiring them) with a tricky 'anniversary surprise' install. They had a small window of time to make the install to maintain the surprise and they pulled it off!! Everything looks great!! (Including all of the original work done 2 years ago!)
