Constraction reviews in Arvada, Colorado

Josh and his team did an amazing job on our deck. It turned out better than we had thought it could and it stayed at our budget. Really recommend Conable. Amazing finish work as well. It’s added so much value to our home!

Outstanding design and build of our new Trex deck. Josh easily agreed to obtain all county permits and inspections, which he did on a timely basis; whereas all but one other bidder pushed back on our requirement to get permits which Douglas County told me were mandatory. Josh was easygoing and easy to talk to. His attention to detail without being asked was admirable. His prices were reasonable considering the high quality work/materials and extra features. Lower bidders included much lesser materials and features. Josh’s helper, Steve, was also nice and also did highest quality work. Josh was very reliable and communicated every day when he would be here. He was knowledgeable on how to install water drainage system and beetle kill wood on the underside of the deck (visible from the ground floor looking up). Thanks Josh, we love the new deck!!

Josh and his team did a great job with our new front door canopy. It turned out as we envisioned, he had good communication, and coordinated well with the other trades that were working on the house simultaneously. Will definitely reach out to him again for the next project.

Josh assisted us with a real estate transaction and his approach was pragmatic, professional and punctual. He listens and takes the time to care so outcomes match your needs. Would hire again and highly recommend

Conable Builders, Josh and John, were professional, prompt, and did a beautiful job building our pergola. We will definitely recommend them to others.

Josh does great work. He jumped in on our sleeper deck with concern for roofing issues underneath, using outside contacts (roofer) to give us peace of mind that all was secure and up to standards. A lot of companies won't touch this type of project so we really appreciated his expertise. Our deck looks great and we're really glad we went with Josh.

I recently had a pergola built by Conable Builders, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, Josh and his team were professional, attentive, and incredibly skilled. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offering great suggestions to enhance the design while staying within my budget. The craftsmanship is top-notch—sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last. They completed the project on time, kept the work area clean, and made the whole process stress-free.

Working with Conable Builders has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. Their team is professional, communicative, and truly committed to quality craftsmanship. Whether it was staying on schedule, managing subcontractors, or responding quickly to questions, they made the process feel smooth and stress-free. The attention to detail in both planning and execution really sets them apart. I would highly recommend Conable Builders to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality home construction or remodeling. They’re the real deal.

Josh did a great job listening to our needs. He did a great job with the design & permitting process. Start to finish was a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Conable Builders.

Conable Builders did my garage right after my neighbor backed into it. They worked with my crazy schedule, came to get the job done when we scheduled the work, communicating all the way thru and did a fantastic job making it look just right for my HOA and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you Josh! I’m so glad I met you! I would recommend you to anyone!

Josh and his Team were amazing! From being professional, on time, responsive, organized and in constant communication, we couldn't be happier with the final outcome. The project was complex for many reasons, but that didn't prevent CB from completing the project in precision time, creating a wonderful addition to our home. As you can see from the photos, we would highly recommend Conable Builders and his Team!

I have used CBC contracting for several of my projects this past year. Complete kitchen remodel, bathrooms flooring, a full and complete basement remodel from scratch. They even helped out with some oddball HVAC work that I requested. I am a former retired contractor myself, I am very keen to what quality is and what quality is not. And these guys do it right!! I am fortunate enough to be able to pay for services. But with that said, I do require very high quality. Nathan, Charlie, Jordan and Mike are all super great crew. They treated my house with respect. They gave me great ideas I didn't even think of. And they made it affordable.
They didn't excellent job on my projects. I highly recommend them to anyone without fail. I appreciate you guys for all the good work you've done at my house. I'm sure I will be calling you guys at some point this spring. Thanks again fellas

Fantastic experience! Professional, reliable, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

Nathan and his team were great. I would recommend working with him and his team.

We worked with Colorado Building & Construction to do our kitchen and main floor remodel. Nathan and his team did an outstanding job on our project. We look forward to working on future projects with them. Highly recommended!!

Nathan and his guys were great! Our backyard project turned out wonderful. We could not be happier with the overall experience. Thanks for all your hard work!

We hired Nathan to demo existing & build a new deck and shed style roof. His written bid included all the details we asked for (other contractors did not) and everything was done as expected, efficiently, on time and of high quality. Any changes or issues were immediately discussed and worked through. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Nathan and his crew for any similar project.

After our deck of nearly 20 years needed to be replaced, we interviewed several contractors to help us build out the replacement. It was a complete re-do and we couldn't be happier with our end result. The work was scheduled and completed quickly with no delays. The price was fair and the craftsmanship was on point. We love it and wouldn't hesitate to contact Nathan for any building projects we may have in the future!

We met Nathan at the Denver Home and Garden show last February and were very encouraged by his attentiveness and understanding of our desires for a new deck at our house.
He came out to our house in May and we went over in detail what we were looking for. His estimate was extremely reasonable. In June, his crew came out to build our deck for our house.
I can’t say enough, how awesome and professional, his crew was. They are all master craftsman, and it showed in the quality work, which was done on our deck. If I had a question, they were more than willing to explain. The crew were all gentleman, and just the best people I’ve ever worked with. I guarantee any future work that’s needed on my house, I will be calling Nathan and not even calling around.
I thank Nathan and his crew so much. They did a fantastic job on our deck, and we could not be more happier. I guarantee that you’re in really good hands with Nathan’s company and his outstanding crew he has working for him.

I wanted to update this review after recently realizing it had been three years since Colorado Building & Construction completed the work described below for me. Nathan has very high expectations from himself and his crew and it shows. Their workmanship is the highest quality and is meant to stand the test of time. Due to their attention to even the smallest details, everything still looks fantastic. If I ever need work done in the future, there is no doubt in my mind that I would hire CBC again. I also have no qualms in referring Nathan to anyone and would be happy to provide testimonials to that effect.

Nathan and his crew are beyond exceptional! They updated pretty much my entire house including installing new flooring, a new guest bathroom, painting the entire house plus customizing my fireplace and adding custom cabinets to my family room hallway plus numerous smaller projects. The entire time, my comfort and needs were respected. They cleaned up every day before leaving, communicated constantly and were true professionals in their level of workmanship and concern for the end product. Best of all, they are SO much fun to be around! They patiently worked with me to address questions or ideas I had (which were ongoing!) while also making suggestions to enhance my original ideas. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. I feel like I'm living in a new house and just wish I had another property for them to work on so I didn't have to say goodbye...! You will not regret working with Nathan/Colorado Building and Construction.

Nathan made the process easy. He explained all the details and we were on budget.
