Apex did a great job with a pretty big job in our basement. We had a leaky pipe in our basement concrete floor that had to be dug out and then pipes replaced from inside all the way to 25 feet out front in our driveway. They made a big job feel totally manageable and left the place in good shape.

Their pricing was also fair for the amount of work as we did get a number of other quotes. I would recommend them for sure.

UPDATE: Apex Plumbing was contracted by the City of Denver for the Lead Reduction Program. The contractors came to my house on 8/18 to replace our main water line. When they left, we immediately noticed issues with our water heater and later that night, it died. We let them know about the issue and they have gone above and beyond to resolve it. Fransisco called me personally and assured me that it would be taken care of. As of 8/23, they have replaced our water heater with a brand new one. Accidents happen on massive city projects like these. I highly respect Apex Plumbing for doing the right thing to make it better. As far as the quality of the installation goes - they're pros. I recommend them.

I recently contracted with Apex Plumbing to replace a lateral sewer line serving my townhouse unit that had failed. Obviously a situation like I was dealing with requires putting together a team that knows what they are doing and also understands the urgency of the situation. Apex Plumbing excelled at both. They were able to explain the process of replacing the line to me and were available to get the job done within a reasonable time. In addition, its charges for the services were very competitive. If I could give this company 6 stars, I would not hesitate to do so. They were professional and went above and beyond what I have see other sewer line replacement companies do. A wonderful experience.

    I can't recommend APEX Plumbing.

After doing a lead water test from Denver Water, I found out my water service line was made of lead, and I worked with Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) to get the line replaced. In the bidding process, DURA selected them for the job because it was the lowest bid. After the line was replaced, I found out they were the only bid submitted, which was done on 1/17/2018.

When they gave me an estimate for my project in early February, they suggested we use their mole borer because of the location of my existing water line. They also said using that method would require the least amount of demolition inside my house. The water service line comes into the house in my bedroom through the floor, so I was glad Jim, their estimator, had a plan for minimizing the impact to my life & house. Jamie, who schedules the work, said the job would only take 1 day.

2+ months later, their crew showed up without any knowledge about what we'd talked about during the estimate. Their crew didn't want to use my front door for access and instead opted to walk on my freshly planted grass seed to access the back door. This only stopped after I asked their supervisor, Mike, to ask them to use the front door. After looking at my existing service line, Mike, said that they were not going to be able to replace it in the manner I discussed with the estimator, so more demolition was necessary and they started jackhammering the floor and dismantling the cabinet containing all the water valves.

Their crew used duct tape to secure the plastic sheets, and when removing them after the first day, the duct tape took off paint from my walls and ceilings as well as left residue on my floors. Blue painters tape was used a few places, but I have no idea why it wasn't used everywhere like it should have been.

Mid-afternoon, I was notified that the job wouldn't be completed that day. At the end of the day, my bedroom was left in an unusable state.

The next day, the crew arrived early and continued on their work. They did not put out protective plastic throughout the house for this day's work like they'd done the previous day.

They “completed the job at the end of the 2nd day. The meter pit they installed is about 2-3 inches too high, so it'll be an obstacle to avoid while mowing once grass is planted. They said the job was done even though nothing was put back together in my basement. I had to contact them again to get this addressed.

After contacting Jim about the incomplete job and explaining the difference between what I was told they were going to do and what actually happened, he apologized for any miscommunication, but said "Unfortunately the Dura program is always low bid, so any better technology causing additional costs are rarely included." This wasn't what he said during the estimate.

Jim said that Mike would come by to “check the grade of the meter pit and address any other tie up issues,” but he never showed up. Someone from APEX came by to verify the sprinklers were working. He agreed about the meter pit being too high and said they should be able to fix it. Mike did not show up to take care of the basement or the meter pit & shutoff that were set to high.

Denver Water came to inspect their work and agreed the meter pit & shut off were too high and failed their inspection (with an additional issue related to the install inside the meter pit).

Jim finally responded to my email saying since it's a DURA job, interior repairs are not included. If this was the case, Mike shouldn’t have said he’d fix it.

Three days after they “completed” my job, a crew showed up to fix the height of the meter pit & shutoff valve. While fixing this, they cracked a large paver in my flagstone walkway that’s between the curb and sidewalk.

It’s now been seven business days since my job was “completed”. My basement is still torn apart, I still have cracked paver, and I haven’t heard anything from Apex about getting this taken care of.

My sewer line collapsed so I called a few plumbers to get estimates. The companies I called gave me outrageous estimates and tried to oversell their services based on fear. I called Apex Plumbing and they had the most affordable quote. I was impressed with their prompt service and honesty, non fear based. (Doesn’t needing a new sewer line sell itself?) They arrived on time and completed the project in a timely fashion. The quality of their work was excellent and they were very informative throughout the process. I appreciated their professionalism and the fact that they were able to provide such great service at an affordable price. I would definitely recommend Apex Plumbing for anyone in need of sewer line repair services.

Poor craftsmanship. They will not fix anything they break while digging up your lawn. They could have easily told us they damaged our sprinkler line & we could of got it fixed instead they did a hack job and buried everything. 0/10 would not recommend. Plenty of other plumbing companies who take pride in their work.

Apex Plumbing is an extremely honest and professional company. I would HIGHTLY recommend using them to repair your sewer lines. I have lived in the same house for 20+ years and every other year I have had my sewer lines scoped and the roots cleaned out. Several times these plumbing companies have given me estimates to replace my sewer lines for a minimum cost of $12,000. Finally, this year I decided to have my sewer lines fixed. I called Apex Plumbing because of their high rating with the BBB. It cost $150.00 to scope my line and their proposal included fixing only a 5-foot portion of my sewer line at a cost of $2770.00. They did find another circular crack in the area where my line ties in with the city line, which could be fixed at a cost of $4,500.00 (the estimate was much higher because of the permits required because of the integration with the city’s sewer line). However, they said it was not something I needed to fix right away.
In addition to Apex Plumbing proposing to fix only what was needed, their employees were professional and accommodating to our requests to limit the scope of the demolition of our basement floor to minimize the number of floor tiles to replace. Furthermore, they were amazingly patient and tolerant with the city inspectors whose demeaning behavior was completely unacceptable as witnessed by myself and my husband. Great company, great service, great price!!!!

While blowing out our sprinkler system we discovered that our underground sprinkler shut off valve was leaking. I called a number of sprinkler companies and plumbers that claimed to work on sprinkler systems. Most never even returned my call, or told me "sorry, our crews are only doing blowouts right now and not taking on repair work". Meanwhile, our valve is leaking inches away from our foundation. Apex however, was super responsive and courteous. We did have to schedule the work about 2 weeks out, but that seemed more than reasonable. They knew that I wanted this done ASAP, and they actually slotted me in a day earlier than what we scheduled when a slot opened up on their end. Their crew was here on time, and had the job done and cleaned up before noon. This job required a MASSIVE hole to be dug, and they left the area looking perfect when it was all said and done. The office and crew had great communication throughout and every one of them followed covid mask protocols. Apex is awesome. This sort of plumbing repair is always a hard one to swallow. It's not something one can ignore, and it isn't a cheap fix. So it takes a great experience with a great company to come out the other side of it satisfied, and Apex provided that. Thanks!

Contact Apex a few months ago to get the belly of our sewer line repaired in our new home. Communication was phenomenal especially when they ran into issues with unmarked pipes containing asbestos and needing additional equipment to get the job done safely. They were honest about needing additional equipment and how much additional it was going to cost compared to the initial quote (which I do not blame them for, not their fault that the city didn’t have those old pipes marked) They worked with us to keep the pricing as low as possible and we appreciate that greatly! The work was done as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend them! Thank you Apex!

Apex Plumbing came through when I needed them the most. Three days before my daughters wedding at my house I had a major sewer line break and could not use any bathrooms. I was not going to be able to host the wedding without it being fixed. Apex Plumbing did the emergency fix in two days! Amazing!

    DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!

Went to the office today and had the police called when I requested information regarding a claim for damages to my home from the fault installation of water pipes. There are 2 homes, and severely damaged, and this is ongoing

I did not hire these people. The City of Denver sent this company out regarding lead water line replacement. They did work that was substandard, causing water damage to 2 homes refusing to provide a certificate of insurance for me to file a claim for the catastrophic damage to my driveway, furnace water heater, and foundation I'm sure they have had many claims, and this is why they refuse to provide insurance. I've contacted Denver water, DORA, and the plumbing licensing board.

We have an old house with two sewer lines that were 100 years old. The main line was problematic and the other line was getting there. I proposed a plan to crossover from one side of the house to the other with all new lines and that is what Apex did. The interior work consisted of some concrete demolition and updated plumbing and the exterior was trenching around lots of obstacles.

The work took five days from beginning to end, including a partial shutdown of Quebec, and the work is excellent. The impact to our yard was minimal and the guy that ran the backhoe was awesome while working around our young trees.

Here's my warning, avoid Home Depot like the plague.I'm a retired general contractor that's been in the industry for 34 years. As such I've seen exceptional quality craftsmanship and materials and I must say that neither can be said about Home Depots window and sliding door products and their sub-standard craftsmanship from their contractors. For example the product they installed was supposedly the best on the market (a double life-time warranty window porduct). However, when you examine the installed product all of the screw fasteners are visible at a glance (which is extremely ugly for a finished and very expensive product). Secondly, 18 months after the product was installed all of the caulking failed creating gaps around all of the windows and sliding doors. Third issue: It took my wife and I more than 30 days to get someone from Home Depots service center to coordinate a return service to correct the failed caulking and separation in the screening on the sliding screen door. Fourth issue: when Home Depots contractor installed the sliding door he never secured it to the sill plate which caused the door to separate from the sill plate and the wall, we could not use the basement sliding door due to the fact that it was separating from the wall. When we finally got someone to come to our home to correct all of the issues (after 3 people on 3 separate occasions came to our home to measure for windows that we never ordered, instead of correcting the issues with the failed installation) the contractor did not correct the separation in the screen door nor did he finish the caulking work. But, he did manage to leave several screws on my back patio floor (what a sloppy jerk). As a retired general contractor I would not have lasted one week in the industry if I had performed incompetant sub-standard service like that of Home Depots contractors. I will never purchase their products again nor will I have their incompetant contractors enter my home for any reason. Should my very expensive, double life-time warranteed windows and sliding doors ever require repairing, then I'll perform the repair work myself. I escalated this issue to upper management and they "assured" me that it would be addressed to my satisfaction...boy, was I sold a bill of goods with that so called "assurance" from upper management. I'll have to correct these issues myself in order to get the the quality that I should have received in the first place, and the job done in a timely manner.

If you're looking for exceptional quality material and craftsmanship, then you should avoid Home Depot at all cost. I paid over $8,000 for three average size ranch house bedroom windows and two sliding doors, it was the biggest mistake that I've ever made. That's what I get for doing business with Home Depot.

In conclusion, if you're looking for crappy quality service that you'll definitely regret, then Home Depot is the place for you.Sincerely,John Siri8692 W. 67th AveArvada CO. 80004

We hired Home Depot to do cabinet refacing. The lead of the project (Matt) was nonresponsive (by email or phone). We had a couple issues with doors that didn't fit and it took over 6 weeks to reorder the materials. Frustrating. However, when finished, we we're satisfied with the result.

Do not order windows through Home Depot!!! I've never seen a bigger disaster! They will write up your contract wrong, lose windows, send installers with no experience to your home, not complete the work, do the work in correctly!! I have new warped ceils ( not put in flush) and water is coming into my house! They management won't resolve any issues and will intimidate and send you rude emails while you will be left scrambling to hire someone to fix the entire installation!! I'm done with the zero level of professionalism and lack of disregard to customers!!!

Atrocious appliance delivery and installation. I don't recommend at all based on my experience.

Delivery crew claimed they showed up 13 minutes before the allotted time window, but I never saw them anywhere near my house, then they left 3 minutes after the window started and had to come back 3 days later.

When they did come back, the rammed the dishwasher into the door when they brought it in and dented the door frame. The installer drilled unnecessary holes in the cabinet AND drilled holes into my granite countertop, which is NOT proper installation because it can crack and cause major damage. The manual clearly states not to do this, and to use the side holes for attachment into wood cabinets.

When he said he was done with the install, I noticed there was no high loop on the drain to prevent water from backing up into the dishwasher. He claimed it's not necessary—but 30 seconds of research online, and my past experience, proves that it is.

After the second time I used the dishwasher, it had a funky smell. I pulled the whole thing out, and not only did the drain not have a proper high loop, but the installer pushed the dishwasher back so hard against the wall without checking to make sure the drain hose was clear that he squished the drain hose so much that almost no water could pass through it, so the drain water was backing up even further into the dishwasher.

The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because after an hour on chat and phone with customer service, they agreed to refund the delivery and installation fees—though if my granite countertop cracks, I'll regret not having filed a claim.
