Constraction reviews in Arvada, Colorado

In June I called to get details and have a consultation.
On June 13th we had the salesperson come to our house.
She showed us a few countertop options even though we were told there would be many options.
We had countertops done in our kitchen, half bath, master bathroom and tub, and main bathroom.
Total cost $7,214
On June 21st they came to measure.
On July 30th they installed.
Today is September 12th.
We have not received a follow up call, email, or even a letter by regular mail to ask how it went or to even thank us for our business.
Nothing at all!
Well, here’s how it went.
Installation
The kitchen island was measured incorrectly. As a result, the installers had to completely bust the tile countertop and place new counter over the broken counter. Hope that stands the test of time!
Our kitchen sink and master bathtub have extremely visible seams. Not kinda visible, but very visible.
Our master bath counter and tub have so many missing areas in the mosaic that you can see right through because of these defects. It’s just see through! Ugh!
After the installation, we opened the drawers and were shocked by the thick dust covering everything! This should have been communicated because we would have been more than happy to remove the drawers. As a result, it took us hours to empty and clean everything in the drawers and the drawers themselves.
In addition, I placed everything back under the main bathroom sink. My son then used the sink and there was water pouring out everywhere from under the cabinet. Most items were ruined. My husband had to install the drain because that was completely missed.
Since they were here all day because of the mess up with the kitchen island, they rushed through the master tub and did a horrible job.
We’ve waited over a month to discuss this with someone assuming since they took more than $7,200 from us they might want to know how it went or at least thank us for our business.
But nothing. Absolutely nothing.
This is a franchise and I highly suggested you go to a different franchisee because this one could care less. -
So last month as I was looking into fixing up a rental property in Denver I needed a quote on a new countertop and faucet. I've been down the road of trying to figure this stuff out on my own and it never worked out well. A buddy of mine said Granite Transformations was the place to help out a man in my position. A rep. came out super fast and provided us with a quote that was right in the wheelhouse. Guy was extremely thorough but to the point. Still some work to be done on my end before I pull the trigger, but was real happy with Granite Transformations. Plan on using them quite a bit as this project gets going.

I didn't believe that this experience could be so easy, reasonable and actually fun. Not only do my counters greatly improve the look of our condo but the folks at Granite Transformations are honest and hardworking.. Don't hesitate to use this company. Talking to other companies is a waste of time. Thank you Granite Transformations, Courtney, Glenn and Tom

My wife loves the new counter, stove top, and sink. The installation went very well and all of the installers were very professional and very nice. Jerry our salesman was great also. Thanks for a job well done.

Great experience with Trend Transformation. They worked with me on finding a back splash tile that worked with the counter top I chose. There was never any pressure to pick anything or spend anything I wasn't comfortable with and the installation guys were so professional and made sure everything was just right! No rush job! Great from start to finish!

Granite Transformations did my counter-tops and my fireplace surround two years ago. They were in and out in one day, and did a GREAT job! Our family entertains all the time, and I always get compliments on it. The only regret I have is not having them do my back-splash! I had another guy do to save a buck and it WAS NOT worth it. You get what you pay for!

Terrible company! They still owe us $3,000 and refuse to respond to the BBB regarding our complaint. The salesperson lied from day one (was late because of a flat tire?), never got things to us in a timely manner (computer problems?), and communicated only via text. The material we ordered and were supposed to have installed within a month was delay for THREE MONTHS. Since we were also having other work done in our kitchen, this delayed those projects as well. The salesperson tried to schedule install for Easter Sunday because she couldn't look at a calendar, and I had to remind her it should be a two day install. We complained several times to the owner, who claimed he would resolve the issues, but we ended up dealing with the same rude, incompetent salesperson. When she called us to ask which material went where for fabrication, we looked at our paperwork and realized she had also forgotten to have us sign a contract. We called to give her the chance to make things right, and she threatened to cancel our entire job unless we returned a signed contract via email within the hour. So we cancelled the job. She called us the next morning to schedule the install because she'd done us the "favor" of having the entire thing cut before we signed the contract. We asked for a full refund and she claimed since the counters had now been cut -- at her direction -- they would not refund our $3,000. We went with another company, had real quartz and stone installed with zero hassle within 30 days and it looks stunning.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! -
My Countertops were installed this week, and i couldn't be happier. They did a great job and so far so good. Juliette was my sales consultant and she has a great eye for decorating and helped me pick the perfect color scheme.

Brian and his crew did a great job preparing, installing, and cleaning up when finished. We love our counters and backsplash. Our sales person, Juliette, was professional and had great ideas for our kitchen and bath. We are very happy the finished product!

Granite Transformations is a poorly run company and if you choose to do business with them, you do so at your own peril. On April 28, 2021, Juliette came to our house to show us samples; she was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. We signed a contract and that was our last positive experience with this company.
No one at GT contacted us to schedule the template and installation. We had to make repeated calls. Finally, we got a voice message from Melissa offering June 3 for the template and July 7 for installation. I called back and explained that we would be on a camping trip on June 3, but the July 7th date was good. Melissa checked with the scheduler and came back with an alternative date of June 7 for the template. June 7, July 7, easy to remember. We thought we were all set.
On June 3, we stopped in the little town of Redstone CO, where we had cell phone service for the first time on our camping trip. I had a voice message from GT advising that Brian had arrived at our home that morning to do the template and no one answered the door. The woman who left the message sounded miffed that we weren't there. Of course we were upset but to make matters worse we had to stay in Redstone for another two hours while the staff tried to contact other employees to see when we could get a new date, as June 7, the date we had agreed upon, somehow didn't make it into the GT schedule and was now completely booked. We finally got a new template date of June 10 and the staff assured us that the delay on the template would not change the installation date scheduled for July 7.
On June 10, the template was completed and again I received assurances that there was plenty of time to make the countertop and no need to change the July 7 installation date. I scheduled a plumber to disconnect the sink on the afternoon of July 6.
On the morning of July 6, I called GT to make sure we were on track for installation the following day. First, I was put on hold for 15 minutes; I finally hung up and had to call several times before anyone answered. I asked if there was a problem with the installation and Juliana explained that she needed to check to make sure all the pieces were in place and she would call back in a few minutes. Of course, she didn't call back in a few minutes. By 11:00 am, I realized that my countertop was not going to be installed and I was really upset that the staff was giving me the run around and no one had the courtesy to tell me what the problem was.
Sometime around noon I spoke with Gene, the general manager.. He told me that the July 7 installation date had not made it into the scheduling book. This was the same excuse they gave for the template screw up and it didn't ring true because several GT employees knew I had a July 7th installation date. Gene never offered an apology, nor did he offer a discount. Instead, he offered "to slam this into production" on a rush job and get the countertop installed on the following Monday. Now I realized for the first time what the real problem was: the countertop hadn't been made. At this point, I wanted nothing to do with Granite Transformations.
Fortunately for me, the owner agreed to refund my deposit so I didn't lose any money. -
Juliette fed us all the wrong information. She had the quote screwed up, measurements off, and misinformed us on the timeline. We where told a one day install and that the project would be completed in January or February which was 4-5 months after signing the contract. We just finished the project, total of almost 9 months of waiting, over a week to do the install. No one at the office could provide us a straight answer as to when the materials to do our install would arrive. Final product turned out nice, not a good company to deal with. Customer service is nonexistent with Granite Transformations.

Juliette and Josh were very helpful with the process and friendly. The kitchen counter tops look amazing and we are very happy. I’d use them again for a bathroom project as their counter tops are such high quality and look great.

Granite transformation put in counters in my house in 2018, I spent all of 2019 calling and trying to get things fixed. First they did not cut the whole for the faucet I had and when the guys came to put it in that's when it was discovered. They said, "Just call and they will get a new faucet for you". Not. I called every week and was told that 1. they were the new company not affiliated with the old one. 2. I would need to buy the faucet. 3. someone would get back to me. After almost a year, they finally sent out a faucet to put in and the service guy didn't do it right as a second pipe was required under the sink. Did find that out a few weeks later when water flooded the cabinet and we had to call in a plumber who showed me what wasn't done and that cost me $800 more. I definitely would not recommend doing business with them.

DON’T DO IT!!! Once they have your money they’re done with you! I had full kitchen counters, island, & basement bar counters done. One of the pieces of back splash has a half inch gap that was just filled with caulking. I was told it’s not a problem, I would get a new piece. After two months I tried calling Juliette (sales rep) numerous times, left several voicemails & not one call back. I then called into the store & was advised to email photos & they will get every taken care of. That was a month ago, still not one word from anybody. Fir the price of these quartz overlays, just go to Home Depot, prices are very comparable, & you get a full counter top.

They have a great product, however their "customer service" sucks. I have used them for multiple projects over the years with great results, but my last kitchen refacing project was not a good experience.
A "7 day install " turned into 3 weeks (part of my order was lost)? They started in September, a week later then they originally scheduled. The crew never worked a full day, only a couple of hours at a time and not every day. They semi finished in October but it took until the week before Christmas to get the last of my door handles installed (which were originally ordered) and my drawers/doors adjusted. I called twice a week for months (no response, no return call) even went to their office and was assured someone would contact me ... never heard from anyone! Customer Service, not at this company! -
We are so impressed with our experience with Granite Transformations. This was our first kitchen upgrade/remodel, so of course we had a lot of questions. Courtney was so incredibly helpful - she really helped to make our decisions easy, clear, and totally affordable. I think the biggest challenge for this type of work is overwhelm, but that just wasn't our experience. Everyone communicated extremely well, were always on time, and did exceptional work. So of course I highly recommend GT!

I waited a couple of years to post this, because while I wasn't happy with the experience, I dealt with the issues. However, now that I've had to pay another contractor to fix Granite Transformations' rigged-up installation, I decided to speak up and warn other homeowners.
$10K worth of counters were installed in my home. They did the cut for the stovetop, and independently decided to change the positioning of the appliance. I was home during the install - right there in the house - but no one asked me if the new positioning would be acceptable. It was not. It placed the stovetop nearly out of my physical reach.
So instead of pulling out that slab section, and starting over with a new one (as they should have), they cut the wrongly-placed hole larger, moved the stovetop back where it should have been, and patched the now too-large opening with a strip of counter material. It looked terrible and the stovetop was only supported on three sides by the countertop.
Two years later that patch all but fell off into the cabinet below.
I had to pay another contractor to reinforce it from beneath. It still looks terrible, but now the strip isn't falling off.
Don't use these folks. And if you do, as an aside, don't use their loan company, EnerBank. EnerBank is as mis-leading as they can possibly be regarding their "interest-free" offers. Good luck. -
Josh is amazing and works with all the expected and unexpected measurement and plumbing issues with a renovation with his clients. The work is amazing, the quality superb. They did my kitchen and my bathroom and were recommended by a home inspector.

Love the material selection. The folks that work for Granite Transformations (aka Trend Transformations) are super .. from the sales folks to the installation 'guys' Also used their plumbing contractor and he was great!! I've had my kitchen done (5 years ago approx.) and just recently 2 bathrooms. Would recommend this process to everyone. There isn't a thing I'd suggest for improvement ... it was all a great experience !!

What a nightmare. I would think twice before using Granite Transformations. Remodeling your home is supposed to be a good experience, for us it has been the worst experience. We were told if they had to put a seam in the kitchen counter top we wouldn’t be able to tell where it is, not true the seam is noticeable and raised. They installed the kitchen, and half the counter top in the main bathroom, where supposed to come back the next day to finish but since they installed the wrong counter top and wrong color sink in the bathroom they didn’t come back the next day. This left us with no water in the main bathroom because they didn’t drill the hole in the counter top for the faucet and the kitchen unfinished. It took them 2 weeks to come back and finish the kitchen and per my request drill a hole in the incomplete/wrong bathroom counter top so we could put in a faucet. They ordered the wrong size and color sinks for our 3 bathrooms twice. They lack communication you have to keep reaching out to them to find out what is going on. It took them 4 weeks from the initial install date to complete the project and were not willing to compensate us in any way for the inconvenience and stress they cause our family.

We bought a house in June. We loved the place but we wanted to redo the kitchen. They had done my friends kitchen and did a nice job. The initial consultation was great the installers and measures were on time.
The project was done in the amount of time they said it would be and the new counters and cabinets do look great.
So why the one star? They installed the wrong backsplash. The work was good quality but it was the completely wrong color.
When I talked to them about they said they'd take care of it and get everything rescheduled to come replace the wrong backsplash. The salesperson admitted she was at fault. She had written the wrong color on the order form
Weirdly they told me the price of the replacement would have to paid for by the salesperson.
We told them we still wanted the original color. They then told me they don't make that color anymore so sent the same salesperson back out and we picked out a backsplash similar to the original we picked. They told us they would call to set up the measurements.
That was 2 months ago now. I have emailed and called and they have said they'll get it set up but then no one calls. Essentially it feels like they are sticking us with a backsplash we don't want when they admitted their mistake. It doesn't look horrible but it's not what we paid for.
After the installation they left the electrical sockets just hanging out and after the plumber the sent out to rehook up our water our filtered spigot didn't work correctly and the water line for our refrigerator was damaged and we had to replace it. They did send someone for the sockets.
The quality and price are good but if you have any problems that will cost them money they quickly become unresponsive and don't want to follow through on their promises.
If you use this company make sure you are home to oversee the installation cause once they have your money you get what you get.
