We recently had carpet installed in both our basement and upstairs, and the entire experience was smooth from start to finish. The team was professional, efficient, and incredibly easy to work with. They completed the job quickly without compromising on quality, and the results look fantastic — we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

A special shoutout goes to Kristin Mayo, who was our main point of contact throughout the project. Kristin was outstanding — responsive, knowledgeable, and always on top of every detail. Krista was great! She came for an in home consultation and 2 weeks later our carpet was installed. Amazing price and the staff was awesome—removed all old carpet and left everything spotless—I highly recommended this company. We will definitely be using them again.

I went with Simply Floors for replacing carpeted stairs/hallway with hardwood based upon their strong reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not as good as others.

The Good:
New floors match existing hardwood very well. Kristin did a good job here.
The end product, albeit after many months and 3 install visits, looks nice.

The Bad:
Appointment Scheduling
- The initial install was rescheduled 3x. We have dogs & I knew the install would be loud, so we coordinated with our work accordingly as we knew we wouldn't be able to take phone calls on those days. Cancelling and rescheduling these multiple times was unprofessional. I understand the supply chain issues in these times, but IMO, Simply Floors should only confirm installs once they actually have all of the product in hand.

Installers - Communication & Cleanup
- All 3 times the installers came to the house, they never gave a call with a heads up of their planned arrival time, despite the office telling me every time that I would get a heads up call.
- The installers left a mess in our living room, see pictures. Same in our garage, where they decided to cut the wood even though we requested they be cut out front to reduce dust.

Stair Noses Mismatch
- When the install day finally came, they brought the wrong finish/color stair noses. How this is not checked before scheduling and install, or at least before leaving the warehouse and getting to the job site is lost on me. Visually seeing that these didn’t match, the installers still proceeded to install the noses without consulting us, and then told us to call the office and deal with it (it was Friday afternoon, they left as fast as possible and clearly did not care). Pictures attached.
- Weeks later, I was told the "correct" stair noses arrived. This is the 2nd install appointment. The installers arrived with 1 box of matching wood and 1 non-matching box containing a hand-scraped finish. They installed what they could from the 1 correct box and so now we needed a 3rd appointment weeks later to finish the rest.
- On the 3rd visit the installers came to the house around 9am only to inform me he does not have the material and he'd be right back. Then why show up at all? He showed up hours later at 3pm and finished the job. No updates in between. I had to call their office to see if this guy was ever coming back.

Final thoughts:
- While I understand current supply chain issues, the entire experience could have been handled better by the office and the various installers. Rather than having multiple install appointments to remedy the situation, they could have been more proactive about ensuring all of the installation materials were on hand in the first place (and all of the same wood!) & the installers could have communicated better and cleaned up after themselves. This unnecessarily wasted a lot of work days for us. I did receive a roughly 6% discount in the end, but that did not make up for the subpar experience.

Great experience from start to finish. Lyubov was extremely helpful and friendly.

We will definitely be returning for our future flooring/carpet projects.

I found Simply Floors after an awful experience at another place (think orange aprons). I was so frustrated at the time but as soon as I met Elizabeth P. I knew they were going to be great to work with. It really was the most simple process so I think the name Simply Floors suits them well! Everything was easy, from scheduling the measurements, getting the quote right away, having the exact floor I wanted, to the install. I work full time so I couldn’t be home during the flooring installation, no problem for them. Moving furniture, no problem. Reusing my trim, also no problem. These were all issues I would’ve had with the orange apron people (not to mention a higher price tag). I can’t wait to use them again!

We enjoyed working with Kim from the Simply Floors Quincy location. The installers were so professional, and the cleanup exceeded far beyond our expectations. We are planning another project in the future and will use Simply Floors again! I have referred a friend and she is having carpet installed the first of February.

Our new flooring looks incredible. It was done quickly in just one day and the attention to detail is obvious. If you need new floors and want it done quickly and at a fair price I would highly recommend!

While my wife and I are happy with the quality of the carpet, but very disappointed with the installation.

The carpet was cut differently in two of the three rooms up to the closet doors, leaving an unusual gap between the door and the carpet (see picture). Then in our master bedroom, the carpet was installed differently, which was laid underneath the closet doors. Looks much better (the way it should) but now neither of the closet doors will glide and close. After speaking with the Simply Floors team, they are unwilling to remedy or fix the issue, highlighting it was in the fine print of our contract.

For the high-end price we paid per square foot, we were expecting to get one of the best carpet installers in town - we couldn’t be more disappointed. Look elsewhere for carpet installation as other installers will stand by their work, and ensure a consistent, clean look throughout the house.

To be clear, a quality installation would apply a consistent “look and feel” throughout the house. Especially as it relates to when the carpet transitions in each room, and in our case into closets. For us, the carpet transitions were installed one way in one room, and then another in other bedrooms - both incorrectly with one providing an incomplete look, and the other where our closet doors don’t work. Very disappointing and frustrating.

There are no issues with our floor as we have hardwood underneath the carpet throughout the entire house. Unfortunately, more of why the installer seems to be over there skis when it comes to flooring and carpet installation.

We have been searching for a unique carpet ... not just the everyday beige or grey plush. Simply Floors had a great selection no one else seemed to have. The purchase and install were great! It was a pleasure to watch installers - Raul and Francisco who were masters of their craft.

Very poor experience overall. Showroom staff was pleasant to work with and the installers made quick work of the job. However, there was quite a bit of damage done to the baseboards during the install. Paperwork that was provided stated that minor paint and baseboard touchup may be required which is perfectly understandable given the nature of the work being done. However, after raising concerns around the extreme warping and bubbling shown in the photos we were told that they are not responsible for any damage at all and that the damage shown in photos was pre-existing. The home was just recently purchased and was most certainly not in the condition shown, as evidenced by the inspection report.

Update - as can be seen in the company's response, the company continues to make false claims and do anything to shirk responsibility and blame water damage while their crew used heat guns to seal the carpet seams. Please be the judge for yourself on what you think damage caused by water vs. what damage caused by heat would look like. Hopefully others will read this and go with another option that cares more about the quality of their service.

They were able to get the floor ordered and scheduled super fast and most importantly all installed in one day without any major disruptions to our busy lives. I would definitely recommend Simply Floors to anyone who needs carpet. Mayo and the installers did a fantastic job, we just had the walls painted and made them aware of my concerns. 3 room and a staircase and not one ding on the walls. I will be coming back on my next carpet needs.

I met Simple Floors at the Denver Spring Home Show and decided to have them replace my carpet. They visited my home to present various carpet samples and padding options. Since I wanted this to be my final carpet installation, I chose their top-of-the-line carpet and padding. The result is wonderfully plush, and I’m thrilled with my decision. Simple Floors handled a full-house carpet installation. After I moved lighter items to the basement, their team efficiently relocated heavier furniture to complete the job. They arrived on the scheduled date and finished the entire installation in one day, demonstrating great professionalism. A few weeks later, when some seams became noticeable, they promptly sent installers to fix them. I remain very satisfied with both the carpet and the installation.

Wow. We are so happy with our new floors!! Simply Floors was fantastic to work with. Kristin M was very helpful in the planning and floor selection process. Braz and his team are AMAZING craftsmen. They did an incredible job removing old flooring, installing new flooring and installing new baseboards.

There was an issue finding the right color for our stairs and Buddy was steadfast in his promise to find the perfect match. He ended up finding a brand new process to make stairs out of the actual flooring material, making the perfect match…and we are BEYOND happy with how the stairs turned out. Thanks so much, Buddy!

Once the new stair nosing arrived, Braz and his team made our stairway absolutely beautiful! They even built a little ledge on the wall side of the stairs to match the banister side, and add some dimension/style. We couldn’t be happier. We will definitely use Simply Floors for future projects and highly recommend them!

We have always used the big box carpet stores and never again since we discovered Simply Floors. The owners, Buddy came out to measure the rooms and was very accurate and answered all of our questions as well as Karen with clarifying measurements and ordering the carpet. Special shoutout to Uriel the carpet installer who worked tirelessly to install the carpet and to come out a second time to finish up and add additional glue between the tile and carpet. Our carpet looks great and we couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. We definitely recommend using this company for your flooring needs.

In short, Our basement flooded two months ago, and our carpets were destroyed. We chose Simply Floors to replace our carpet. The outcome was exceptional. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. Furthermore the customer service and communication was as good as it gets. Lilia was the carpet specialist I worked with throughout this journey. She clearly had our best interest in mind and help me make the RIGHT, most cost-effective choice in our carpet decision. The turnaround time/ installation was quick and efficient. Our experience was amazing from the start! Out initial consultation with Alycia was great and the customer service in the showroom was awesome. We had both hard flooring and carpeting installed. The hard flooring took a few hours and our entire upstairs carpeting was done in one day!!!!! We would definitely recommend Simply Floors :)

We just finished our basement remodeling in Idyllwilde last week. "Simply Floors" did an excellent job as part of a total remodel project under prime contractor, "ElkStone Basement Finishing". All work was done in a couple of days, and on close inspection the work was flawless and the entire work area was left clean. We give "Simply Floors" a "4 -STAR" rating. I have worked with Simply Floors 4 times now. Two of those after flood damage that required replacement of carpet. They have done LVP and carpet for me in 3/4 of my home. They are amazing to deal with, and they are reliable and impeccable with their installation. I have nothing left to remodel (hopefully for a very long time) but if I do, I will for sure be using them. I recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks for always doing such a beautiful job!
