Great to have a family owned greenhouse still operating locally. This is my favorite place to shop in the Spring and they carry a huge variety of plants. Thanks for being such a great asset to our community.

A true gem in the Denver metro area!
This nursery is one of my absolute favorite spots—whether I’m on a mission for the perfect plant or just wandering to soak up some green inspiration. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, always ready to help with questions about indoor plants, outdoor landscaping, or even garden decor. You can really feel their passion, and they make every visit enjoyable and educational.
The selection is outstanding—from unique houseplants to hardy perennials, trees, seasonal favorites, and beautiful decor pieces. It’s one of the few places where I find quality and variety in the same space.
I also love their Green Bucks program—such a fun incentive that gives you a reason to come back and treat yourself (as if I needed one 😄).
Highly recommend for plant lovers, gift seekers, and anyone who just needs a little green therapy. -
Plan on spending more time here that you might think. The physical space is huge and they offer a great variety of garden tools, equipment, furniture, fountains and plants. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help with any questions. There are also great labels above their plants explaining what they are and “secrets to success” for growing them.

You can find everything you need at this store! string of hearts, succulents, orchids, trees, air plants, Hoyas, pothos, peperomias.
I was not disappointed. They have a large indoor house plant section and a huge gardening decor and tools section. The staff has always been super helpful and friendly when I have visited. Best of all they actually have sales! You'll most likely find discounts throughout the store and earn reward points if you join their member program. If you love plants give them a visit. -
This place is HUUUGE! Even from the outside it looked a lot smaller than what I was about to experience. Made my goblin cardio in just one visit! It's like a minimall of plants, with fields of trees and shrubs for a solid block. And pallets-high stacks of fertilizer, prepping for some serious planting about to happen for Summer!
Not to mention various indoor areas selling decor, from lawn gnomes to fountain installation. The rooms go on forever, and so much to take in. Truly a planter and gardener's truest dream visit. -
I've been coming to Echter's for years and cannot rave enough about it! This place has the largest selection & most varietals of indoor or outdoor plants, pots, fertilizers & soils, & gardening accessories. Every employee I encountered was gracious & knowledgeable enough to assist me with any questions I had, even if they were in the midst of another task. In all honesty, it can be a bit overwhelming, so if you're anything like me, knowing what you're looking for before you go in will help you from getting lost in all the wonderful plants.

A neighbor introduced me to Echter’s when I moved from Boulder to Denver last year and they have been an invaluable resource for setting up and caring for my new garden (as well as for houseplants). They have a wonderful selection and an extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. Highly recommended. Good people, great plants.

What an oasis! We stopped by in September and they had an awesome selection of any kind of plant you could want. We were on the hunt for a citrus tree and they had a ton of options that all looked great and healthy. They had a lot of great cold-weather vegetables, which can be hard to find this time of year. Their pricing was reasonable and the staff was all friendly and helpful, especially the woman who checked us out. This will be my go-to from here on out for all our plant needs!

Echters has such a wonderful selection of everything you might ever need for indoor or outdoor plants and gardens! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the signage on all plants is very informational and useful. I appreciate their rewards program and rotating sales! I always love walking around in here, even if I’m not looking for a new plant :)

We’re long time Echter’s customers, and just want to commend the phenomenal staff for all they do to keep us coming back to Echter’s. Over the years, we’ve purchased everything from rose bushes, to large planters, to house plants, and have always had exceptional service.
Their rewards program is AMAZING and we look forward to using our Echter’s Bucks and Rebate every year.
Today, I went in to pick up a large (heavy!) glazed pot. Not only did staff immediately assist me in selecting the best one and loading it into my cart, the moment I checked out and was walking out, they came out AGAIN to make sure it was safely loaded in my vehicle. Their team goes the extra mile, and the level of care is so appreciated. Thank you, team Echter’s! -
I have so much gratitude for Echter’s Nursery! Thank you so very much for giving my family a Christmas tree On Dec. 22, just in time for Santa to come! We were one of the fortunate family’s that received a free tree to brighten the holiday! You helped make it happen! This place is so special to do this! I will be back to shop for some new house plants soon! You guys are the best! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Bought my first plant after moving to Denver, it had spider mites. I go back and so many plants are infested. Mites, thrips. Just awful

This is my favorite garden center in the region (and that’s saying something, given some of the other great places nearby). My husband has to drag me out or I’ll never leave. The customer service has always been superb, and I love their rewards program. Their selection is incredible and often more affordable than some of my other favorites. Whenever I’m looking for something specific, I always check at Echter’s first. Highly recommend.

Echter’s is a nursery in the heart of Wheat Ridge right by a small, intimate park. To start off, the parking lot here is impressive both in size and how well it’s maintained. It’s always a nice start to visiting here every time.
As you walk in, the first thing that may come to mind is that they really have a large selection of items here including everything needed for gardening, some backyard furniture, plants, etc. As you walk into the eastern part of the building is where you’ll see the nursery. There are SO many different kinds of plants. I find it hard to believe that you won’t find what you’re looking for here.
The only downfall I would point out here is that, like many others have mentioned, the prices are definitely on the higher side. The quality of the plants and other items sold here do reflect that price though and are good. -
My mother and I had to a goal this year of visiting 10 new garden centers around the Denver Metro area and Echters has become our most favorite! We were impressed with the selection of plants, trees, statues, waterfalls/ water features gardening supplies etc. We were also very impressed with the classes and tours that were offered throughout the season. Tami was the staff member that we connected with and talked with us. As we visited throughout the season she remembered us and we were able to share pictures from our garden with her. Tami became more than just someone to talk with at check out- but a gardening friend that happens to work at the best garden center!! Thank you Echter’s and THANK YOU Tami!

I am an avid gardener and have always had a green thumb. The flowers I purchased from Etchers on June 14th are now dead, not even 30 days later. At 75 dollars a pop I expect better quality. Never again!

Long time Echter’s customer and simply put they just do it better than most. As the saying goes - if it’s not broke don’t fix it. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Plants/shrubs/perennials/annuals/misc landscape items of all kinds that are far superior to that than any big box store. We planted our containers a couple weeks ago and they are thriving (don’t think the pictures do it justice but already the sweet potato vine is sprawling towards the ground and ready to run wild) Truly the only suggestion I have is that sometimes I notice the annuals get flip flopped on the opposite isle of where the signs are, really such a minimal thing though.

As a landscape architect, this place is fabulous. I could spend hours looking at their seed wall, the garden accessories, hummingbird and bird feeders, outdoor furniture, bird baths, indoor plants and so much more. They do get very busy and their selections and variety go FAST for outdoor plants come May. Very popular for a reason, the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Slightly higher priced than the Home Depot or Lowe’s garden centers but quality is what you are getting.

My receipt says I was checked out by Kathy B. Kathy is a sweet lady who was very patient explaining the cash back/green bucks program to me, and had a great attitude that helped make my day a little better.
As for the store itself, wow! It hadn't occurred to me just how many products a garden center could sell. I came in to get a small plant to spice up my room, and ended up spending nearly 90 minutes marvelling at all the plants, supplies, and decorations in the place. It even has some nice eco-friendly soaps and home items! If you're a plant person who likes a chill atmosphere, this place is for you.
(The photo was not taken at the store, this is the air plant and hanging terrarium I bought there. It makes my window look so much more lively) -
