Matt and the team at Outdoor Design Group have been great to work with. I own a landscape installation company and have built several of their designs. As an estimator, I find the level of detail very useful to get my pricing right. My install crews love the thoroughness of the drawings: from demo, to hardscape, to planting, and to installation details, it really helps them get the project over the line. Some clients take them up on the option to oversee and schedule oversight services which keeps them connected to both the client and the contractor and that has proved helpful along the way. They aren't there to challenge our techniques or ideas, but to help keep the project goals and vision aligned for all parties. A talented and cool group to partner with. I recommend them all the way.

We worked with ODG to design our backyard. Matt was so helpful and thoughtful throughout the whole process - from the early stages of doing a walk through and listening to what we were looking for, to coming up with conceptual designs, finalizing the design, getting project bids, and then all the way to yard completion.

We’re so happy with the design and now the outcome. Matt helped us create a little outdoor oasis and really extend our living space with a small Denver backyard!

We continued to work with Matt during the construction phase and he was a great advocate for us. And it was helpful to have his eye for design and detail when inevitably we had to make small changes while bringing the project to life. Would definitely work with ODG again.

We worked with Outdoor Design Group to design our new RV Resort project. We were working with a ton of trees and wanted to create an experience that worked with the existing landscape. Matt flew out and put together design that was exactly what we had envisioned. It was the foundation that we used to build on. We will hire them again for our next project!

Anthony and Tim came over to fix my broken sprinkler back flow valve. They were super professional and worked quickly. Even asked if I wanted to make some changes to our set up that may be more beneficial. I personally decided against it as we need to do some work, but I appreciate them recommending additional solutions. Fantastic team and I love working with woddy’s. Have used them for sprinkler blow outs the last two years, and will be using them again this fall.

Had a leak outside the house. Called and got an appointment. 12-2 they said. Surprisingly the guy shows up exactly at 12. Digs down to the problem and fixes the broken coupling in no time at all. After he was done I had some questions about the sprinkler timings and he helped me figure out the set up no cost. Total cost for the fix was super reasonable. Germain was professional, helpful, and friendly. I guess some other people had a bad experience but I'm really happy I called Woody's. Maybe I just got lucky with Germain. Either way, 5 stars.

I cannot say enough good things about Woody's! I had a sprinkler system installed by a different company 3 years previously. It was not cheap and it never functioned correctly. That company disappeared and I had a mess on my hands. Two other companies told me it would require complete replacement at greater cost than the original system. Woody's came out and went through the whole system, replacing heads and doing a little relocating but at much lower cost.

Do yourself a favor and just start-off using the local company that has been around and will be around for a long time. Woody's.

Michael is phenomenal and will get your sprinkler system into 10/10 shape, couldn’t ask for a better technician. Had two experiences with their receptionist, both negative. Curt, speaks over you, and unfortunately a major detractor from the overall team’s delivery.

I had heard positive things about Woody's and assume the company may be great to work with outside of the corona timeframe, but during corona (my only experience with them) I found customer service and professionalism somewhat lacking. I attribute this to them simply being too busy, based on various information I was provided by several of their staff. I'd rather not provide more detail as I assume the work volume is the real problem and don't want to cause problems - I just hope to provide other potential customers a heads up if you have time to plan your work. They ultimately fixed my problem. I don't think their rates are unreasonable, but I think the work could have been performed more efficiently if they had more staff, which would have saved me money. I was informed that several other local sprinkler companies went out of business as a result of corona resulting in their significant work load increase; maybe there are unemployed local sprinkler techs that could be hired to help?

Woody's is amazing. Responsive, professional, prompt and more than thorough. Their prices were great and they were very accommodating of our needs amid changing weather. They were very knowledgable and willing to explain the work they were doing. I absolutely recommend them and will be calling them for my future needs.

Mike the owner completed a landscape project for me on Wednesday. The price was unbeatable and the service was outstanding and better than any of the competition out there. I highly recommend Woodys Lawn and Sprinkler for all of your landscaping needs. I will be using them for all of my properties!!

I phoned Woody's and two days later I had an appointment! Jen in the office is wonderful. Friendly efficient professional. AJ the technician who came out was superb. He worked with me as I showed him the areas of concern was able to identify quickly what the issue was - buried sprinkler head, provided an assessment of the overall state of the system and coverage and a recommendation for a going forward plan. I couldn't be more pleased with the knowledge attention to detail and customer focus. Would highly recommend Woody's. They will be back for a follow up and for winterization.

Gaven and Josh came out to the house today, and as always, I couldn't be happier with this company. I've used a few different companies over the years, and these guys are the best I've found. I know that everybody gets busy this time of year, but this company is worth whatever the wait might be. Trustworthy and friendly.

I scheduled Woody's Lawn to come out and take a look at my broken sprinkler system to give me a diagnosis and estimate. We scheduled on Monday and they gave me the 1-5pm time block. I made sure I was working from home so I would be here. 5pm comes around and no one showed up or called. I called them the next day to see what happened and reschedule. The lady didn't have an explanation, but rescheduled me for Wednesday giving me the same 1-5pm time block. I plan my day so I am again working from home to meet the tech. 2pm rolls around and I call Woody's to get an ETA on the tech. She tells me I'm next and I should expect a call in the next few minutes. I wait and never receive a call. Two back to back no call no shows really communicates a lack of respect for their customer's time and business.

EDIT: The owner did leave a message apologizing for the missed appointments. They have blown out my sprinklers in the past and done a good job so a 1 star does feel too low. Raising this to 3 stars.

I have had Woody's take care of my sprinkler system for a few years now, super responsive and communicative. I had a major issue over the summer with a leak caused by tree roots, Michael and an associate came out and fixed it and explained how they rerouted my lines to avoid future issues. He just came out to winterize my system, and Michael explained everything I'd need to know to get back up and running in the spring without a service call. I have a lot of confidence in Woody's and will continue to use their services as I need them.

The Woody’s company did my sprinkler blowout today. They were on time and amazing!

I've used Woody's for years (at my rental property). I called them this year to winterize the sprinkler system at my new home. The technician, Germain Cardenas, did not come inside and drain the water from the pipe. I called Woody's to ask if that was normal. The receptionist, September, stated it must be fine because Germain Cardenas is a senior technician. I checked the pipe myself and a half gallon of water came out once the valve was loosed--it would not have been fine! I called again and told September that the technician did not perform the service. She offered to have Germain Cardenas come back. I already drained the water myself (after she told me it should be fine). I didn't need a technician to come back. I called three times for a refund and September assured me the owner would call me back but he was "out in the field". I never received a call back or a refund. I disputed the charge on my card. I won't use Woody's again if a "senior technician" doesn't do the job right and they won't address customer satisfaction. Do not recommend.

Update: Owner did call me after this review was posted. While I appreciate the follow-up phone call, it did not fix the lack of communication or poor customer satisfaction with my experience and the owner was not willing to make it right. Though I do appreciate the follow-up phone call (finally).

Just had Gaven come and blow out my sprinklers and I could not have had a better experience! He was knowledgeable, fast, and friendly! He answered any question I had, and showed me ways to protect my system in case I couldn't get it winterized in time. Wonderful experience, and will be using Woody's for any sprinkler issue I have moving forward

Woody’s has been servicing my sprinkler system for years now, and they always give me excellent service. For example, Greg Huerta came out today to fix a leaky sprinkler head and he knew exactly what the problem was, and fixed it quickly. He also checked out my system to make sure the rest of it was working well. He was pleasant, professional and has a lot of expertise. He also was very good at helping me understand what he was doing and how things work. Thank you Greg, and Woody’s for your top notch service.

We use Woody's Lawn Sprinkler for both of our homes. We use the 'yearly' service plan.

Yesterday they turned on the sprinklers and fixed a major break in the water line. You can hardly tell that they dug out and replaced the line.

Today the turned on the sprinklers at the other house. They spotted and fixed a leak in the backflow valve along with a broken sprinkler head. Gavin and Josh are great.

My mid-season tech was Gaven; he arrived promptly (even a little early) for my scheduled service; Gaven asked me about any concerns and addressed all of my items professionally and comletely .. which involved coverage issues with a couple of older style sprinkler heads, that Gaven replaced; and he fine tuned my watering schedule to better maintain my lawn during these hot dry Colorado days and nights. Thanks, Gaven and Woody's Lawn Sprinkler & Landscape Services .. I look forward to using Woody's for many seasons to come.

I've been using Woody's since about 2015, but over the last few years, they are going downhill. I scheduled a spring startup yesterday and the technician never showed up. I called to find out what happened and the office admin tried to blame me. Frustrated after waiting weeks for the appointment, I declined to reschedule and they had the audacity to send me an invoice for the missed service. Unbelievable.
