We hired Highlands Landscaping to replace an aging retaining wall and completely re-landscaped our front and side yard to reduce our overall water use and maintenance. They did an excellent job and we are elated with the results. The construction of the new block retaining wall was a massive and complex project as we live on the side of Green Mountain. We did not come to them with a specific plan in mind. However, they had the vision, knowledge and craftsmanship to create a terrace design that was not only elaborate and beautiful but incredibly functional. It is a work in progress as we elected to do this project in the fall, Highland will wait for spring to install the plants and shrubs which will really bring our yard to life. More pictures to follow in the spring. Their crew was so eager to please and took great pride in their workmanship. From the beginning, the team listened to our goals and desires and provided us with a very detailed estimate at the outset. The project evolved over time as we refined the design together. Throughout the entire project, they were very communicative and transparent with adjustments to the budget.

We recently used Highlands Landscaping to replace and install new fencing (two different types, one in back and one in front), and they did a fabulous job. Everyone at Highlands was responsive and easy to work with. The project manager, Nikola, has a very careful attention to detail and communicated well with us through every step of the process and every decision we needed to make. Our initial estimator, Desmond, also gave us excellent suggestions for how to achieve the look we wanted. They built the gates exactly as I had envisioned them and did a great job dealing with some uneven ground we needed to work around. We are extremely pleased with our new fences and wouldn't hesitate to use Highlands again.

Cannot recommend Highlands Landscaping enough. We purchased a house in Arvada in February. We needed to install an irrigation system, complete back yard landscaping design and rock for parking on the side of the garage. I was contacted by Brandon who went through the process and the history of Highlands. Brandon was great to work with as I was trying to manage this from Arizona. Brandon listened to what my wife and I were looking for, he visited our house and came up with a great design for what we wanted. Received a very detailed estimate on exactly what work would be done and how it would be done. I was able to meet with Brandon and the installation team prior to the start of work. The amount of detail the installation team went into was incredible. Work started a short time later. The team was in constant contact with me through out the process. The end product was far beyond anything we could have imagined. Thank you so much Brandon and the entire Highlands team for an incredible outcome.

Highlands Landscaping recently completed both our front and backyard, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Salvador, our project manager, was equally great — he kept everything moving smoothly, answered every question quickly, and made sure the install stayed on track from day one.

This was my first landscape project, and the entire Highlands team made it incredibly easy. Their communication was clear and prompt, they were patient and accommodating throughout the process, and their crew on-site was friendly, efficient, and respectful of our space.

Highlands Landscaping recently transformed our backyard and we could not be happier!!
