I can’t say enough great things about Ascend Construction Group. From start to finish, they have been absolutely incredible to work with.

They helped guide us through an insurance claim, which can be such a stressful and confusing process, and made everything feel manageable and straightforward. Their knowledge and willingness to advocate for us truly made a difference.

They’ve also provided multiple free quotes as our ideas evolved for other projects, and what really stood out was their flexibility. When they saw the space and recognized better ways to approach the project, they weren’t afraid to suggest changes or pivot directions to make sure the final result would be the best possible outcome. That level of care and expertise is rare.

Hands down, they are the best. They are completely trustworthy, professional, and reliable. They always show up when they say they will… which, unfortunately, isn’t something you can say about every contractor.

We have used Ascend Construction on a couple of occasions; hail damage to our home and secondly installing new siding. The Ascend crew is great, so easy to work with. They kept in touch with our insurance carrier and we had no worries. Communication and professionalism are priorities! We will be using Ascend for our future needs.

What a great roofing company!! They really went above and beyond to get our claim approved for hail damage with our insurance company when they initially denied our claim. Then they pushed to get it approved so the work could get done before the closing on our house. Ascend brought in extra guys and got two big roofs done on time. Wonderful group of people. All were helpful, kind, generous, and efficient! We highly recommend hiring Ascend Construction Group!! 10 stars!!

We had an excellent experience working with Ascend on our roof replacement and exterior house painting. Jared was our point person, and he was fantastic -very responsive, organized and easy to work with. Ascend's subcontractors were outstanding as well. The roofing crew, painters and gutter team all did high-quality work and paid great attention to detail. Everyone was professional and respectful of our property. We hired Ascend Construction for several projects on our home, and are very happy with the results. They replaced our roof, painted the exterior of our house, installed new garage doors, and remodeled most of the kitchen, including new cabinets, wood flooring, backsplash and paint.

Tommy was excellent about walking us through different options so we could choose what worked best for our home and our budget. We never felt rushed or pressured. They took the time to explain things, which we really appreciated because some of these decisions were difficult.

They stayed on top of the schedule and kept things moving. If something needed to be adjusted, they communicated right away. They took pride in their work and made sure we were happy with their work before it was completed.They checked in more than once to make sure everything was good.

No project this size is ever completely stress free, but they made it as smooth as possible. The crews were respectful of our home and cleaned up at the end of each day.

We will definitely be using Ascend Construction again for any future projects. It’s hard to find a company that does quality work and treats you like they do.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ascend Construction on multiple projects, including roofing, plumbing, loft conversion and other general contracting jobs, and they have been outstanding every step of the way.

Their customer service truly sets them apart. Tommy and his entire team is friendly, approachable, and genuinely cares about making sure everything is done right. They even handled the insurance portions as well. They took the time to answer our questions, explain the process clearly, and kept us informed throughout each project.

The workmanship was professional and thorough, and it was obvious they take pride in what they do. It’s not always easy to find a contractor you feel completely comfortable with, but Ascend Construction Group earned our trust and they do everything they can to keep it!

Drove next to the most careless and erratic driver in one of these van. The gentleman in the van was texting while driving for literally 5 minutes straight., while swerving in and out of lanes and holding up traffic. I even honked loudly next to the van to get his attention, but nothing will stop this company from endangering their community. Great work guys. Eastbound i70 around 3:20 pm on 1/22.

It’s very unprofessional to have your employees driving company pickups when they block the interstate and then flip you off for passing when they are driving slow.

Shawn is fantastic to work with. He is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and easy to collaborate with. He listens carefully, offers helpful ideas....and his thoroughness in measuring saved me a lot of time and effort. The quality of his work is excellent, and it shows in the final result. I would absolutely recommend him.

We worked with Shawn on a repair to our condo he was great at giving us timely estimates as well as getting us on the schedule in a very timely manner he worked around all of our time needs as well as documentation needs for our insurance company which was great he definitely made this process much easier and on top of all that he did amazing work his skill sets are vast and he was able to apply them to all of the different jobs that were required to do our repair work he patched drywall installed baseboards installed a waterproof floor repaired Cabinetry and hung a door for us and all of them were done fabulously and quickly he was in and out within less than 2 weeks so if you would ask me if I would recommend him to somebody else absolutely in a heartbeat he would be my first recommendation and we will be hiring him again in the future

Shawn is amazing. Deep knowledge of his craft and also a great human being. The custom carpentry work that we wanted was complicated and intricate, and Shawn came out with a perfect result, in a faster timeframe than we expected.
We also have used this company for drywall repair/construction and as part of a bathroom renovation. All of these projects were superb and we couldn't recommend Black Lotus any higher!

Shawn has done numerous projects and has done a great job each time. He built our deck and railing, fence, a nice covered party pad, and recently some chimney work. Shawn is always responsive and always does quality work. Shawn's work is of the highest quality and I will only have him complete my projects.

We couldn't be happier with Shawn and Black Lotus Construction. Shawn was responsive, showed up when he said he would, and provided transparent pricing. He did everything he said he would do. Left our home very clean after the project. We took a bid from one of the local building supply stores and Shawn got us a better window and saved us $2,000 on the overall cost. My wife and I would recommend Black Lotus to anyone.

I worked with Shawn from Black Lotus on my last home remodel, which included framing an extensive addition. Not only did Shawn know what he was doing, but went above and beyond every step of the way to ensure the highest quality on our home. Several other contractors I have used in the past showed nowhere near the attention to detail. Clear communication and very punctual.

In my experience, the most important thing in a home remodeling project is finding a good, reliable and honest contractor. That is Shawn. Shawn was a referral from a friend and I could not have been found a better contractor. My base project was expanding a 3rd floor powder room and adding a shower. Shawn does much of the work himself. He did the demo, framing, drywall and electrical. He brought in others to do the plumbing, lay the tile and paint. Everything was permitted by the city and the new bathroom looks amazing.
