These guys did an awesome job. I had a dead Aspen that fell half way over in a wind storm and was about to hit my neighbor's garage. Reed was able to come out that evening to remove that hazardous tree. While he was there I asked him to put together a quote for removing some other diseased aspens and doing some other tree work. The quote was very reasonable, and he got the rest of the work done promptly.

I'd absolutely call these guys again for tree surgery!

After years with Davey Tree we are very happy with Heartwood Tree Care. Reed is much more responsive to our tree trimming needs. He provides clear itemized estimates for each tree, does amazing work with the trees, and cleans up after the work.

After years with Taddiken, I started to worry about the health of the lovely pin oak tree that graces our front yard. That's when I found Heartwood. Reed and his crew have restored our tree to its former beauty. Watching them trim this magnificent old tree was like watching artists at work. The team was a delightful group of people who worked together performing what looked like a ballet amid the branches. It was great fun watching the whole process, they clearly enjoy and care about the quality of their work. They also did a fabulous job of cleaning up! I cannot recommend Reed and his crew enough. They are masterful at what they do!

We were so happy with Heartwood Tree Care. They removed 3 dead aspen trees from our property, 2 of which were huge and almost touching our house. They also pruned an enormous green ash tree for us that had had a poor pruning job previously, and the tree is beautiful now. They listened to us carefully explain which sections we wanted heavier pruning to create space for a younger nearby tree to grow, and where we wanted to keep more branches for privacy. They also pruned an enormous locust tree that has looked awful for years and they brought it back to life. They even did several courtesy cuts on a few smaller trees around our property that were not part of the plan (but much needed and appreciated). They were competitively priced as well. We got estimates from 8 companies and Heartwood was cheaper or in the same range as all of them. They did great clean up work, were very friendly, and very skilled - a great hire all around.

Reed was great to work with. He was able to come out in a timely manner and assess our job. We had several trees removed. He provided a clear itemized estimate which detailed each tree and other services (I.e. stump grinding, etc). Once approved the job was done within 2-3 weeks. There was good communication throughout the process and the results were great!! I highly recommend Heartwood Tree Care!!

We were impressed with everyone on the team who came to trim trees, remove trees and shrubs, and grind the stumps. Everyone was knowledgeable, polite, and a pleasure to work with. That is a rarity these days! It was amazing to watch the workers scale trees like monkeys - we found out there are several expert rock climbers in the crew, which makes sense and was fun to see. We will use heartwood tree care again when we need tree work.

Great company! Super friendly professionals who listen to your concerns and then delivery excellent service. I wish I had a “before” pic of these large crabapple trees because they were SO full and overgrown — but here is the end result! Heavily pruned but still have a beautiful shape. Ready for spring!
