I hired Blue River to trim a giant locust tree in my yard in Northglenn. It had been neglected for years, but with Dusty's expertise and his crew's hard work, they got it looking great again! The tree's healthy as ever and didn't suffer any damage this spring during the heavy snows! Reasonable price and great work! Highly recommended.

I've used Blue River a couple times and have always had a great experience. Their crew is on time and respectful of the client and the property. The sales team is knowledgeable, going above and beyond to creatively solve problems that make the customer happy. I always recommend them to neighbors.

I just wanted to say how happy I was with the crew’s work, professionalism, and attitude. The guys got there early in the morning and got to it. They were polite, communicated well, and did a great job getting the tree down even though it was in a tight space surrounded by things that could have easily been damaged during the work. We have a really pretty metal fence and matching trellis that I thought might get damaged by the tree, but your crew did a great job taking care to protect everything. I also really appreciate how thoroughly they cleaned up after themselves before they left. I am used to contractors coming in to do far less complicated work and leaving the place worse (and definitely messier!) than when they got there. Not so with your crew - the yard and the driveway were cleaner than when they arrived. They took every branch, including some that were there before they got there, and swept up before leaving. So thank you, and thanks to your crew, for doing such impressive work and being so responsible.

This company deserves an A+. A recent wind storm blew down a 40 foot Blue Spruce in our front yard. We called Blue River in the morning and the tree was removed that same day. Initially, they informed us that they would need to deal with emergencies first (remarkably, our tree did not hit anything) and that they might not get to us until the following day. They still managed to remove our tree that same day and they did a very thorough job. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again in the future, although, hopefully it will be under better circumstances.

Blue River has worked on a couple of properties for me and they have done a wonderful job in each instance. Their staff are very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and always reliable. Each job has been done on time, for the amount quoted and to my complete satisfaction. I especially appreciate their focus on natural fertilizers as opposed to dumping more chemicals in the ground. They have my highest recommendation.

They came out on time to give me an estimate. But, I never heard back nor have I received the actual estimate. Plus they are scheduling out 4 months so I'll pass on them.

** UPDATE: One of the owners called me and we discussed what happened and why I left the above review. It showed great care that they followed up and explained why I was not contacted. I appreciate the efforts and communication follow up and I am sure this family owned business takes pride in their work and they are not afraid to talk about where they may fall short.

We had an Ash tree treated. One of the estimators was at our neighbors and provided the time to look at our tree, provide an estimate and schedule the treatment. The communication with the company is excellent. The service scheduling took place online. Questions were met with prompt email and phone calls. I highly recommend this Blue River.

We chose Blue River to cut down a large 38 year old Honeylocust tree in our backyard, plus to prune and inoculate a similarly aged Marshall's Seedless ash tree. The crews that arrived to do the work were on-time, efficient, and courteous. They did a great job and did a good job cleaning up afterwards. I have only high praise for their work. And - they charged must less than the other company I called for a quote. Five stars!

Needed some heavy pruning on some clump Canada Red Cherry trees. They are very responsive and lower cost than a couple of others I checked. Crew was professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. Have used them for past few years and will continue to rely on their services.

I had a really great experience with Blue River Tree Care. They took down a dead tree on my property and I wasn't even home. They scheduled it, confirmed my appointment, put signs out to notify neighbors not to park in the danger zone and when I came home the dead tree was gone, stump grinded out and the area was completely cleaned up. They were reasonably priced and so professional. I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them again.

The crown jewel of my backyard is a huge Cottonwood. The Blue River guys did an awesome job trimming and shaping this beauty. They were on time, efficient, and took care to protect a memorial garden I have nearby. Clean up was complete and they even carefully handled a nest of baby squirrels to allow the mother to relocate them! I highly recommend this company. We've been using Blue River for about 10 years-they are great to work with and super helpful to let you know what needs to happen to keep your trees healthy. We have successfully kept the Emerald Ash Borer at bay to save a 100+ old tree we really want to keep due to their diligence in letting us know when we need injections, etc. Can't recommend enough!

Blue River went the extra mile! Prompt service, and the whole crew was very friendly and professional! Had my huge maple tree removed and cleaned up the entire area from debris and leaves within an hour. Definitely recommend this company!

Blue river tree care came out to our house to assess our trees the fastest (less than a week), they gave us their emailed proposal within an hour, and they were the most reasonably priced out of three other proposals. They were so nice to work with and made the process so easy on our end. They gave us friendly reminder calls and follow up calls. The work was done in an hour (4 trees removed) and they cleaned up everything, even took some extra branches we had on the side of our house :) We were home for the proposals and removals but didn’t have to be, all the billing happens online, and they make sure the work is satisfactory before sending the invoice. We cannot recommend them enough! Thank you!

After struggling with another tree company working with Blue River was a breath of fresh air. We had a half-dead 30+ year old Cottonwood in our yard and needed a true professional to remove it because it was hanging over our home and our neighbors. I couldn't be more please with the work and professionalism of Blue River. Amazing work, safety and care of our property are just a few things that made this process so great. I am so thankful we had them do work on our home and will use them in the future. You can't go wrong by using them!

We hired Blue River recently to trim and treat a few of our Ash trees at our rental property in Boulder. The crew who came was on time and a super friendly group of guys. They made sure to do a great clean up when done also. My husband and I highly recommend and will be calling them again for any future work we need done.

After a very heavy snowfall one of my favorite trees lost some branches. I wanted the best for the tree so I had an arborist come to look at it. His expert opinion was helpful in determining the heath of the tree and the pruning nesisary to keep it growing healthily. The quote I recieved to service my tree was extremely fair. When the work was done, caution was taken to protect other plants in the area. The team also went the extra mile to clean things up, including the dust from the operation. After their work, we talked about future work on the tree and what it will need to continue to grow. While my tree now has some bald spots, I can rest easy knowing it will fill back in and continue to grow and be healthy for years to come. These are some very kind, knowledgeable, and professional people. I will be hiring them again, and hope to see their business continue to be successful.

We've now hired Blue River a few times and have been extremely pleased each time. The crew is always on time, knowledgeable, attentive to any requests (such as, if possible be careful of irrigation lines), and thorough. I've also never had to do any clean up after, which I appreciate very much! Will continue to book Blue River for any future tree care needs.

We were completely satisfied with Blue River Tree’s quality service!! Eric and his team were professional, knowledgeable, communicative, efficient and willing to go beyond, to make sure we were happy with their work. They took a conservative approach for the health and safety of the many trees they pruned, leaving the ornamentals beautifully shaped to have a silhouettes against the sky. As we did our walk-through, there were two trees that were encroaching on our driveway that we asked they prune more deeply. They did so using their expertise and listening to our needs.
