Merry Maids have been great I have never had a problem which is so refreshing. They always show up, the cleaning is great, and they put up with my 3 hairy Pomeranians. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they are a little pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I have been a customer, of Merry Maids since 2010. Since 2020 I noticed a significant decline in service. I live in a 1700 square foot townhouse. Before the pandemic, the teams took an average of 90 minutes. While they missed a few things, the house was clean. Since, 45 minute sis common. The teams act they are in a rush to get to the next cleaning and it shows.

Things they don't do that you would expect:

1. Wash the kitchen backsplash.
2. Wash the back rim of the kitchen sink facing the backsplash. It has grown moldy over time.
3. Wash the floors, in the kitchen, even in the kick area.
4. Wash the kitchen table (mine has glass).
5. Completely dust the dining room ta table (they do not move objects to dust), and the dining room and kitchen chairs.
6. Do not dist window sills.
7. Do nut dust lamp shades.
8. Do not dust on top of the refrigerator.
9. Do not dust on top of tall dresser mirror in master bedroom.
10. When they vacuum it seems they do just the middle of teh floor.
11. Rarely dust the lower molding in various room.
12. There are cobwebs in various areas, which have not been dusted in years.
13. When they dust pictures, they do not straighten, if they move din the dusting process.
14. Sometimes they leave lights on.

I keep a clean house to begin with. But, for $148 (for a once a month cleaning), I expect a cleaning that is better than I can do it. I am recovering from an injury, and cannot clean the house, nor can I go and clean what they chose not to clean.

The do enough to deserve an average rating, but barely.

There was a management change about three or four years ago. The previous manager made sure things were done right. The current one doe snot seem to care about quality, just quantity.

So, I am not happy getting a rush job to meet some kind of quota.

Finally, quality varies by team. Some are reasonable good, and some were very bad.

I arranged this cleaning for a customer we were doing some handyman work for who lives out of state. The house was so clean and fresh when they were done I couldn’t believe it. When I first saw the home’s bath tubs there was no way I would even step in them. When Cheyenne finished cleaning them I thought they were new. Kudos to her and all of the lovely ladies that did a fabulous job.

We had asked for a deep cleaning for a initial move in and what we got was a very superficial wipe down. If there was a piece of paper stuck to the floor, it was still there after they were done. We asked to have it redone and they couldn't do it until the next week which was too late for our move in. So in the end, due to their very poor initial job, my 87-year-old mother had to do a lot of the hard scrubbing on her own! They offered $50 back, but what we really needed was a good cleaning!

Merry maids of Boulder is a great and reliable company. My house hasn’t looked better.

Cleaners were very professional and did a great job. Definitely expecting to receive my deposit back on the home rental now. They were very fast and left the house spic and span. Would recommend to anyone seeking cleaning in Boulder area.

The associates do a great job every time. I especially appreciate now the precautions and distancing measures they are taking. While they were closed during the lockdown period, the company kept us well-informed about the preparations and precautions they were working on so they could restart when the timing was safe.
October 22 2020: We have moved away from Boulder but we asked Merry maids to do a final cleaning after we were gone. Our daughter still in Boulder tells me they did a beautiful job - fridge and all. I give them the highest recommendation, and we will miss them.

So nice to come home to clean house. The bathrooms were spotless. The microwave was so clean and the stove shined. They did a great job. Even took out the recycling items. They took care when they vaccumed the house to not bother my cat who hates the vaccum. They missed wiping off the top of my coffee maker but is the only thing they missed. Everything else was done to perfection.
I will be setting up a regular schedule. Well worth the cost.

I'm oftentimes pleased with the thoroughness of the Merry Maids. I wish I could request those who work the hardest, but the teams vary from week to week and not all of the cleaners work as hard as others. The good news is that they come weekly--no excuses, and they have good attitudes.

The women who work for Merry Maids are very friendly and efficient. They always ask if there is anything that needs special attention, and are happy to accommodate special requests (use of special cleaners, vacuuming dog beds, etc.). I love that they are very reliable and offer flexibility (i.e. in case I need to change the date of a cleaning).

We have been using Merry Maids for over eight years. Rebecca has been our lead person for most of that time. She has been promoted but still comes some weeks to clean our house. Today she was here with Shelby and Reilly. They did a thorough job. Always follow instructions on products to use. And friendly.

Cheyenne is the best. I have been a customer of Merry Maids since the beginning of my time in Boulder. They’ve always treated me like a valued customer and worked out any issues or concerns.

I love Merry Maids. We’ve been using them for over three years and I can’t recommend them enough. I hate cleaning but I love a clean house. This service gives me back my Sundays. No more angry cleaning for me! And they take the extra time to make sure we are happy. Like switching up the day we have them come over text or wiping the gunk out of toothbrush holders (it’s the little things, guys.) Right now, the team is juggling extra precaution measures like cleaning their equipment between houses and wearing masks while in my home (which is amazing because cleaning is definitely a work out!). I trust this team and I am so happy with their service.

I love Merry Maids of Boulder. They are dependable, thorough, and fast. They also adjust very easily to our weird schedules. I work from home so I’m always in the house when they come. Everyone is so friendly and I will never change to another company. Many years ago my daughter worked for Merry Maids and the owners and managers were very good employers which is one of the reasons why I chose them in the first place.

Merry Maids have been very consistent in the cleaning of our house. Lately we have had Cheyenne doing the work & she is great.
