Save Home Heat did an excellent job for me on the maintenance of my Heat Pump and mini-splits. Reasonable cost and timely service too. I couldn’t be happier.

We had Save Home Heat install a new A/C unit, Furnace, and Water Heater in our house since the time we bought it and every time they’ve done amazing work. Whenever we’ve had a problem, they’ve been super responsive and willing to help. I can always count on them to fix anything that pops up and installing anything brand new without a hitch. Every time they’ve gone above and beyond to ensure the work was done up to code and well. And shout out to Jesus who came out twice this year to service our A/C and fix a pump in our furnace. One of the kindest and best techs we’ve ever had at our house from ANY company. Save Home Heat has an amazing staff and I’ll be a long time customer because of it. Thanks!

Just paid $525 for them to not fix my furnace. Love that. Literally came up to my house, said "There's nothing we can do" and sent me a bill for five hundred and twenty five united states dollars. I could have not fixed it for free.

I had such an excellent experience all around with Save Home Heat! Bryan was a thorough, patient and extremely knowledgeable source of information. He was always prompt to respond to my questions and was super helpful. The guys who did the install were excellent as well and every time I've called for anything, my call has been answered right away, by a human, and everything from scheduling to filing the Xcel rebate has been incredibly quick and easy. Superlative experience all around!

Heat pump installation was okay. Pricey, and turns out the company is not an Xcel Whole Home Efficiency trade partner, so you aren't going to get that extra rebate bonus if it's part of 3 qualifying upgrades. Left $1000 from Xcel on the table using this company. My fault for not checking the partner list closer.
(Do not be confused by the response below. There is an extra cash rebate from Xcel if you are doing three or more energy upgrades, but the company also has to be on an additional list of providers specifically for the Whole Home Efficiency program. It is mystifying to me why this company would be on one list and not the other, and why they would not have been more clear about that.)

Save Home Heat has been a fantastic company to work with on several occasions. When my furnace broke, they were one of the only companies to not try to talk me out of an electric air-source heat pump in favor of a new natural gas system, and their demonstrated expertise (e.g., walking me through how the systems work, detailing their calculations for getting a unit of the appropriate size) led me to choose them for the install. They were fantastic throughout the installation process, and the heat pump they provided has kept the house at its usual warm temperature through Denver's coldest weather (down to -17 degrees Fahrenheit most recently) while being ultra-efficient through most of the year. Save Home Heat also made the rebate process very easy.

Most recently, following a burst water line and some basement flooding, they helped me service the heat pump to quickly get it up and running again. I'm also using them to replace my hot water heater. Save Home Heat is professional and timely, and their technicians have consistently done an excellent job while taking the time to answer all of my questions. Working with them gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend.

Corey and his team of professionals completed installation of a Mitsubishi mini split heat pump for me today. They walked me through every aspect of the electrical panel upgrade, conduit routing and heat pump installation process. The process was completed timely, efficient and according to my specifications. I was impressed with their professionalism and openness to discussing all steps of the process. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Save Home to anyone for their HVAC needs.

A CAUTIONARY TALE

I'll start by saying I am very pleased with the performance of my new, Mitsubishi ductless air-source heat pump system. On these 90+ degree days, it's keeping my living spaces cool without putting much of a dent in my net energy profile. I have solar installed and am still able to produce more electricity than I consume after having this system installed. It's very quiet, efficient, and powerful.

HOWEVER, THIS ISN'T A REVIEW OF MITSUBISHI.

I was very impressed with the initial booking process for my in-home consultation. The Save Home Heat team really have their act together when it comes to the sales end of the equation. The person who came to perform the assessment (Chris) was very helpful, informative and professional. He was able to recommend a system that turned out to be perfectly sized for my needs. While I was a bit shocked by the sticker price, bids from other, local suppliers suggested Save Home Heat's prices were in line with the market and at least reasonably competitive, but by no means inexpensive.

My disappointment came AFTER I committed to do business with Save Home Heat. First, the installers arrived a day earlier than scheduled and totally unannounced (though they had my phone number and could have given me some advanced warning). That was no big deal, but a bit of an inconvenience.

While I was originally told the job could be done in a day, this one took FOUR DAYS to complete, and it required a lot of improvisation and follow-up.

The electrician who performed the wiring was very good. He explained some of the accommodations he needed to make due to the limitations of my breaker panel, and I was able to comfortably approve his plans on the spot. He performed his work and cleaned up after himself.

The installers of the AC system itself, however, were a little bit of a s%^t show.

They were loud and profane.

They were tasked with trimming a piece of molding on my master bedroom wall and neglected the adage of "measure twice, cut once", which ended up with a 1-inch gap between the wall AC unit and the molding piece. They even marked the cut with a sharpie marker instead of a pencil, leaving a large, black line below the cut.

If you look at brochures for Mitsubishi, you'd think the materials used to cover the refrigerant lines would be something other than garden variety gutter material. Unfortunately, that's what Save Home Heat uses. While I can overlook the use of cheap materials here, the installation was very unprofessional.

The team was unable to create a straight line from the holes they drilled through my walls to the holes they cut through my deck. This resulted in the duct material (gutters) being out of alignment with my home siding, creating an obvious visual flaw.

The way they capped these gutters was also very "ghetto", using sheet metal screws and a hammer to put things into place. Just look at the pictures to get an idea of the workmanship here.

Beyond that, the team left cigarette butts and random screws and bits of discarded materials in my driveway.

In the end, I am happy with the performance of my system, but I am disappointed with the work and professionalism of the installation team.

We have used Save Home Heat for a couple products and highly recommend them! They have great communication, the workers are friendly and hard working. Something went wrong with one of the products which caused some damage. It wasn’t Save Home Heat’s fault but they stepped up to the plate and had the damage repaired. Will definitely use them again!

I had Save Home Heat do a hardwired EVSE (electric vehicle charger) install and add a 120V outlet in my garage. The electrician was very helpful, and was patient with all of my questions. Work was done neatly and professionally. I would definitely use SHH again.

Fantastic company. They did a sizable job for me when I was out of town. Not a speck of dust was left after they were done. Cannot get any better than that. Also they were so helpful and willing to discuss various options with me. I cannot say enough!!!

Save Home Heat is Xcel's top installer partner for heat pumps and for good reason. For starters, after talking to multiple companies about this project, Save Home Heat felt the most honest and professional. Every part of the quote was itemized so the install cost was very transparent. The price was very fair compared to other quotes I received and their timeline for installation was incredibly fast. Their price came in lower than other quotes I received and their lead time was at least two times faster. Since they install many of these systems a week, they have the entire installation process shaped into a well-tuned machine. It was pretty impressive to see in action. Everyone on site had a specific job so there was a lot of work being done simultaneously and everything seemed to go extremely efficiently. They were able to finish our install within 6 hours. One thing I liked about Save Home Heat is that their workforce is all in-house so the quality of work is top quality and their results are consistent - you know exactly who you are working with and know that they are able to deliver an excellent end result. Everyone from Save Home Heat has been very professional and really pleasant to work with. Our installer, Mitch, was very personable, knowledgeable, respectful of our space, and overall did a really great job. They wore shoe covers in the house and they also cleaned up after themselves when they were done.
