Home Services reviews in Broomfield, Colorado

The work that landscapers and lawn maintenance people do is some of the loudest, most disruptive in a residential neighborhood. These guys are mowing and blowing outside my bedroom window at 7:30 am and the business shuts for the day at 4:00 pm. Given that the nature of the job is so noisy and disruptive, from a service standpoint, I wish these companies would keep later hours, from 10:00-6:00. Yeah, I understand they want to get home early, but the nature of the job is so loud and disruptive that they should keep later hours. I mean, bartenders don't get to choose to come in at 7:30 am so they can go home early. Some people are still trying to sleep at 7:30 in the morning and this is a continual nightmare all summer long. I wish you people would have some respect for residents. I've seen other landscaping companies that start later. When I lived in an upstairs unit, I never did anything loud before 10:00 am out of respect for my downstairs neighbors.

One of their drivers did not stop at a stop sign and almost crashed into me in my neighborhood. Then proceeded to flip me off. Based on today’s experience and the plenty of other negative reviews, there are some very angry people who work here. Please be more careful in our neighborhoods there are so many people walking and kids around. Thank you <3

The workers at this company have no regard for handicap spaces or handicap people. They decided to park in not one but both of the handicap spaces outside my apartment forcing my wife to park farther away from our building. Very disrespectful and borderline dangerous for those with handicaps who need those spaces.

I had the misfortune of driving behind one of this company's trucks today, in the span of about 10 minutes I saw no less than 30 plastic bags go flying out the trailer and onto the road. After reading the other reviews here I guess I should be glad that they didn't flip me off or try to kill me, but seriously, everyone knows, or should know, that you properly secure your load before driving. If the other reviews aren't a hint, I'd strongly recommend people avoid this company.

Great plant store. We were looking for some snake plants and they didn’t have anything on display. We asked and they brought out just what we were looking for. The store dog was sweet and nice environment to peruse for some new house plant friends. Highly recommend this shop, beats shopping at Lowe’s or HD.

Edit after owners response: While I appreciate the effort 5 months later to "clarify", the interaction I experienced was still incredibly unkind. The poor attitude of the manager is the biggest complaint, not 12 bucks. It is reasonable to ask about an exchange when you're sold a dead plant. The plant I brought back was properly cared for and yes WATERED. In fact, it wasn't even checked by the staff, simply eyed and then told to spend more money. No thanks. I stand by my original opinion, especially now that the owner has insinuated I am the one who doesn't know how to water a plant. This is contrary to his in person response that he "didn't really know what these plants would do" when he sold it which is why it's no surprise it didn't bud. The late blame game response is just a bad look. Save it.
Super disappointed in the customer service of this nursery. We purchased several items early spring including some of the overwintered garden stock at their 70% off sale. I brought a blackberry bush back a few weeks later that never came back to life.
I was told the best they could do was offer a 20% discount on another $30-40 berry plant. I explained the sale did not stipulate there was no guarantee with these plants. As this was understandable (although never stated when purchasing) I simply asked for my $12 as store credit.
Front Range Gardens refused. Such a shame to lose hundreds in future sales from us over $12. I have no interest in spending another 25 dollars for another bush when I spent $12 originally. This equates to now $40 plus (original price) for now a significantly smaller pot size!
If you're offering the discount anyway, just offer the store credit toward anything else. -
I absolutely LOVE this place! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a massive selection of houseplants that I thought were really reasonably priced. They have an amazing array of fun and funky pots. I understand they sell veggies and outdoor plants in the Spring/Summer. Looking forward to checking that out in the spring. I’ve read some reviews about mask non-compliance, but everyone was wearing their masks properly when I was here. Will definitely be back!!

The selection is fantastic, the plants are all so healthy, and the staff are all very friendly! This is my new favorite garden center! :)

I love going to Front Range Garden Center whenever I am visiting because it always makes my mom happy. Great selection of succulents and cacti and all of the perennials were on sale. We were able to get some things she was wanting for her yard at 60% off so needless to say, we spent the afternoon in the yard. They have a nice selection of pots and gifts and if I lived here, I would definitely buy all of my houseplants here. Great service and the staff are all very knowledgeable.

Incredible selection from common to rare plants. The best part about this place is the staff. They're truly helpful and knowledgeable. It's going to cost a bit more than the national chain stores, but you can get expert help and that's worth the few extra dollars for me. Also, they have Colorado specific products for our unique climate that you won't find at the big places.

This is a fantastic nursery. The front area has all sorts of nice knick-nacks of a much higher quality than you find elsewhere. Lots and lots of nice planters of many different sizes and colors.
The plant selection is amazing and very healthy. Some of the plants I've picked up this year are so huge for the price! Lots of unusual plants you can't find elsewhere. I hadn't been back here in years but it's still the same great nursery I remembered! -
Huge variety of plants and succulents. Good variety of pots and decor. Good prices.

Awesome staff and beautiful selection of plants!

This is the first time I have ever written a public review, but I felt compelled to by the sheer kindness of the staff here.
I stopped by to check out a sale and I joked that the 30% sale starting on my 30th birthday was a sign for me to come spend some money. The staff were friendly from the get-go, but after learning it was my birthday, they were extra kind. They took time out of their day and really went above and beyond "good customer service."
Thank you to David and Tate specifically for their kindness and generosity, they really made my day. They were incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share helpful tips, gave me a great deal and packed my plants with care. I will continue to shop here to support a local business, ran by genuinely good people. -
Lovely place. Lovely people. And a wonderful selection! I got some fantastic plants for our red eyed tree frog vivarium and I could not be more excited. I should have asked her name, but the person who helped us was so sweet and even dug through the plants to find exactly which size Swiss cheese plant we were looking for.

This is a beautiful garden center with a great selection. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and so are the people who work there. David in particular was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and kind to me and my family. I only wish I lived closer!

We love Front Range Gardens as our go-to nursery in Westminster, Co. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff, a wide selection of plants and accessories, and the cutest dog.

This place is amazing! The customer service is top notch. I went in a few weeks ago for some new plants and told Dave about some restrictions and exactly what I was looking for. He pointed me in the right direction and made sure I understood care for each plant that he showed me. He took the time and effort to make sure that, as a beginner, he could answer all my questions. I went in again tonight after I noticed that one of the plants I purchased was drooping and I couldn’t seem to bring it back to life. He gave me insight and was extremely helpful. My plant looks amazing! Overall excellent business with beautiful plants and pottery and incredible service. I won’t go anywhere else!

Went into the store and all of the racks in the back say 80% off overwintered items, however the items on the rack are not on sale. It's only the ones outside. The employees have been having issues all day with the signs yet they do nothing about it. EXTREMELY misleading and disappointing.
Update in response to owners offer of 80% off.
I appreciate the offer for an 80% discount but no thank you. I wasn't the only one that experienced this, just the one that said something. I'm not trying to get cheap items, I'm just sharing my experience. -
Such a cute place, I can’t believe I hadn’t found it before. If your looking for the same plants from the big stores but with better color choices, this is your place!!!

Hands down the best garden center in the area! I love their selection of spring/summer annuals and garden tools. They are a great place for Christmas and holiday plants and decor also. Their store manager and staff are very kind and always helpful. Looking forward to spring to get to stock up for the new season.
