DO NOT USE Richis Tree Services! I realized their service level on 7/28/20 when we had hired them to trim and prune our trees at our property. I held a discussion with the Foreman as to my requests and expectations and was shut down by him. At that very moment, I realized I was no longer the customer. I realized he was going to provide me the service level “he” wanted fulfilled – not mine as a paying customer! So, if you want a Tree Service Company that does what they please and not as you want as a paying customer – Richis Tree Services is your company of choice. For me, as a customer, I want the company we hire to fulfill our customer requests and expectations, not theirs. Richis Tree Services was a mistake.

We had a really good experience with Richis Tree Service. Our large ash was badly damaged in an early June snowstorm. We also had a smaller dead pine tree that needed to come down. We got (or tried to get) several bids on the work, and everyone was booked up or wouldn't show up or gave us huge quotes. Richis came in $100 more than another tree service, but when we tried to book the other tree service, they said they would put us "on their to-do list" and "should be able to get to us in July." That didn't inspire confidence that they would actually show up, so we reached out to Richis to see if they would match the other company's estimate. They did, and we booked them, putting down a small deposit. Richis was scheduled out pretty far, but at least I knew we were *actually on* the schedule (unlike the other company).

On the day of, Nick and Eric arrived and talked with me about what to expect for cutting the damaged branches out of the ash, cutting out some dead growth and pruning it so it would be in good shape going forward. I appreciated that because I didn't want to be surprised about too much of the tree being gone when they were done. They cut down the smaller dead pine and also took out a small broken peach tree branch that I had forgotten about. Nick even asked if he could take down a very small, very dead sapling (we just moved in this spring and the previous owner planted a lot of stuff that didn't make it) because it was making his ash tree look bad. Lol. They also cleaned up well and didn't leave a bunch of sticks and leaves around.

You can pay via check, or they email you an invoice to pay with a card or PayPal. I'm planning to have them come back next summer to take care of our silver maples!

Richis Tree Service did an outstanding job pruning our very large cottonwood tree. It was located in a difficult area between our house and power lines and they did a wonderful job avoiding any damage to either. They also did a thorough job of cleanup afterwards. I will absolutely use them again.

We asked for a quote from several companies to have three trees trimmed and two trees cut down. Richis was the best quote so we decided to give them a shot. Two guys worked hard all day and they transformed my yard! They were professional, hard working and wonderful value!

Use them in the past so we tried to get them for a new tree job but have been unsuccessful in getting them on the phone and their voicemail is full. Definitely doesn’t give high comfortable.

I used Richis Tree Service to clean up & remove some large branches from one of my trees in the front yard. To my delight, the tree was cleaned up beautifully, but I discovered that an errant cut branch had left a mark on my gutter and broke a bedroom window from the impact. Although I was disheartened, Rich asked me to send pictures of the damage to him, and fully assured me that he would take care of any and all damage costs. He immediately began coordinating home window replacement contractors, and selected a top rated window installation contractor who repaired the window within no time. Very great customer service and highly recommend!!!

I hired Richis Tree Service to grind a large stump with large protruding roots, Ric's crew did a phenomenal job. The grinding process produced so much wood chips that it covered some of the roots. I didn't want them to dispose of the chips, since I had a large area i wanted to mulch. After removing most of the mulch, I discovered that there was additional grinding that was necessary. Upon calling Ric {the owner} he personally came out that afternoon and removed the remaining stump portions.

I needed to coordinate the stump removal with the crew that were pouring a new driveway adjacent to the stump and they were extremely cooperative and accommodating in getting this accomplished.

They were timely, courteous and efficient.

I would HIGHLY recommend Richis Tree Service for all your tree removal needs.

Initial walk around went well, I explained what I wanted and the estimate hit everything. Day of service was spot on and they took real care of my property and finished with some feed and pesticide injections. Highly recommend!

After getting several quotes to get our (very large) dead elm removed, our neighbors landlord recommended Richies to us. The workers were very friendly, on time, and worked quickly and safely. I was incredibly impressed with our entire experience with Richies and we will be contacting them for all of our tree needs! Thank you again, we’re so happy with the outcome!

The crew from Richis Tree Service from Centennial Colorado were fantastic. They addressed 4 very large trees that were hanging over houses. Timely, professional and very knowledgeable. They also were efficient and left no debris behind. Very much enjoyed working with them!

These men are exceptional! I had a huge cottonwood tree that needed to come down ASAP. It was too close to my house and I was scheduled to have it painted. I already had another tree company schedule but the unforseen happened and they canceled. I was in a bind. Richi and his team (Foster) came all the way to Colorado Springs and not only cut down the cottonwood, but trimmed a badly needed tree in my front yard as well. Had I not seen them cutting down the tree, I wouldn't have known they were there except for the tree being gone. The cleaned up was perfect. I'm truly grateful for the fast response, the level of professionalism and human kindness. They come highly recommended!

The last blizzard in March took down my cotton tree and more! I had 4 different estimates and choose Richies Tree Service. They came out when promised performed such a professional and efficient job that I already referred them to my friends. Due to the weather the employee could not drive over my grass with the truck and had to haul pieces by pieces a long way to his truck. Left no debris - just a clean amazing job done and the price was also very fair. I will always be a loyal customer when I need a tree service company!

This a follow-up review. Richis Tree Service came and provided service to not only me but four of my neighbors with a tree removal. Did a great job and in a timely manner. Even showed up early. My neighbors and I will be using their services again in the Spring when we have new trees planted. Thank you for making good on your promise to fix the hiccup after our first meeting.

***Experience was lacking. The person came out as scheduled and was supposed to follow-up with an email to provide additional information. Never heard from him again...it's going on two months. No business card and no name. I won't be using their services.

Love Richis Tree service! Great work, heart and just kind people!

I was referred to Richis Tree Service a few years ago after a big storm that broke a lot of trees in my neighborhood. The first tree service I called was overwhelmed with calls for emergency tree service, but they suggested that I call Rich. Richis was overwhelmed too, but they managed to make time for me the next day. That was good because a lot of my neighbors had tree branches in their street for about a week.

Richis crew did great work, and they were easy to work with. So, I've called them back a few times over the years. They have removed one tree entirely. And they have trimmed and fertilized my other trees. The crews are very efficient, quality of their work is great, and they clean-up really well when they are done.

If you are looking for a tree company I can not recommend Richis Tree Service highly enough. They took down a massive cotton wood tree in our backyard. They were very reasonable compared to other estimates I received for the work. They ground out my stump, took out the roots and help feed our remaining trees to keep them healthy. Everyone working here was wonderful and polite to interact with and exceptionally hard working. I feel very luck to have found them.

We had 5+ large trees that needed trimming and this team did a wonderful job! Nick, Steve, and Joel were kind and respectful of our property, and their work was great. There was a lot of debris from all the trees we had cut, naturally, and they cleaned up so well it did not even look like we had our trees trimmed at all. Thanks!
