It’s unfortunate I have to write a poor review. I hired these guys to trim back a large maple tree in my front yard, specifying that they clear the branches hanging over my roof, the neighbors yard and the sidewalk.

The crew worked for ~2 hours and I was charged $800. When I came outside, it was barely noticeable and there were still huge branches hanging over my house. When I asked if they plan to clear them, they said “we just trim the skirt” and left. I also discovered they broke one of my lawn gnomes…

Fast forward ~1 month when a snow storm hits. The tree lost 12 branches, including two on my roof, one on my neighbors car, and a huge one on the sidewalk/street.

I asked Richi if they can come help clear out the branches - considering they all came from the same tree that I had just paid nearly $1,000 to have trimmed weeks before - specifically to avoid this mess.

We had a plan to meet at 2pm to discuss the clean up. But at 1pm, I received an invoice for $300 including photos of my tree. So he basically showed up to my house, took photos and sent me a bill without even speaking to me?

They want me to pay $1100 to trim a single tree, for which I had to do a lot of the work myself. Now I’m stuck vetting other services to find a good price for something I already paid Richi for.

It’s just disappointing considering I found these guys on a neighborhood list of recommended services. I feel like I have to tell the neighborhood group to remove this business from our list, cuz what else am I supposed to do?

Easy to communicate with and completed the work with care and professionalism. Rich gave us great advice about protecting our trees. The team was super efficient and the trees look exactly like we discussed while planning the work. Great price, quality work - says it all. Looking forward to working with them again!!

I just watched these guys take down a huge, dead cottonwood out of my neighbors yard, and they did an excellent job! The guy up in the tree seemed to have a lot of experience and was very polite and professional. It’s is such a relief to have that tree gone - it was ready to come down on something and potentially cause damage. Thank you, Little Bear!

Highly recommend Little Bear - Customer service was quick to respond, and was able to quickly get out and get a quote to me and add me to the schedule. Employees were professional, and cleaned up the entire area from debris. My yard looks soo much better! Thanks Little Bear!

I had not use this company previously, but I saw the good reviews and decided to try them. I was very impressed. When I called initially, they were able to come the same day to give me an estimate. When they worked on my maple tree, they were fast and efficient and cleaned up everything completely. They even finished a little sooner than they had predicted I would recommend them to anyone.

We hired Little Bear to trim our Ash trees that had branches overhanging our driveway and house. They were very professional and efficient. Very reasonably priced and cleaned up after the work was completed.

Absolutely phenomenal service! I had a massive cottonwood tree right up against a shared fence, and they handled the removal with incredible skill and care. Every step was done smoothly and professionally, and they took the time to clean up thoroughly afterward. I couldn’t recommend Little Bear Tree Service more highly.
