If you need a great HVAC company, go no further than Royal's Heating and Air. I've used them multiple times now and have been incredibly impressed with their service. It's so hard to find a honest and trustworthy company these days. Joe and Ray are both great. They're both friendly, reliable and most importantly straight shooters. They're not gonna tell you need something done unless it truly does need to be done. Unlike a lot of these other company's that try to sell you things you don't need done. I definitely plan on choosing them for all my future HVAC needs!

Being new to the Canon City area we had no recommendations for local companies. Thank heavens we reached out to Royal's Heating And Air. They were great, fast, professional and offered great service with a decent price. They remain our go to in heating needs! Great customer service at an honest price. Joe the owner communicated expectations and gave us a fair price on my father's home we were preparing to sell. He explained the issue and what it would take to fix. He was on time and did what he's said he would do at the price he said he would do it for. Highly recommended.

I called Royal’s Heating and Air. Joe answered the phone. He was working on another customer’s furnace. I told him what the symptoms were of the problem with my furnace. He asked me to send him a text with my name and contact information so that he could call me back when he was finished. About 10 minutes later he called me and said that he was on the way. About 15 minutes later, he was at my front door. He quickly determined what the problem was and resolved it. He showed me the details of what was causing the problem. He recommended a different type of filter. I highly recommend this company. They are prompt, professional, honest and very affordable.

Installation of new furnace and air conditioner was professional and efficient. Very happy with both units (have had them for almost 2 years now). We first became customers with Royal Heating and Air when our furnace quit during a snow storm on a Sunday. I called several businesses and got the same answer from each that they could come out the following week, mid week. I then called Royal Heating and was told if we could wait an hour he’d be out. Joe Royal arrived within the hour. He got the furnace running, showed my husband how to keep it running, until he could get the replacement part and fix it the next day.
The next afternoon he returned with the part and fixed the furnace as promised. He not only fixed it, but the amount he charged for a Sunday call was very reasonable.
Since then we have used Royal for our furnace and air conditioning maintenance, and a hot water heater replacement. They are always on time, friendly and priced reasonably.

Good company! We didn'tt end up hiring Royal Heating and Air but it was only due to the fact that we were strictly sticking to our budget numbers. They're estimate was very competitive and closely in line with others we received. Joe had some great ideas regarding issues with our system that no one had thought of before. My very old furnace was emitting CO through a cracked exchanger and a poorly vented flue which was creating a dangerous living situation within my house. While dealing with a Home Warranty program I was first directed to a extremely unprofessional and unreliable company. I later changed directions and went with Royals Heating and Air. Joe and his crew changed my experience from night to day. They were prompt with scheduling even during the busy holiday season. Very punctual on both house visits. Extremely thorough and diligent about addressing the issues on the diagnosis. Joe worked out a new venting system for my house, installed a quality and efficient unit and his price points were reasonable. If you are looking for quality service, fair pricing and EXPERIENCE, then Royals Heating is the company for you. I would recommend to any and everyone. Thanks for the hard work guys!

Our first call was to have our old AC looked at. Ray came out and basically said we probably had a leak in our system, but went ahead and added some refrigerant. He felt there wasn't much he could do to help us so he didn't even charge us for that visit, which I thought was pretty amazing.

We then began getting several quotes to replace our AC and furnace (which was 34 years old) over a period of a few months, and Royal's price was far better than the larger companies we talked with. I will admit that I was a little apprehensive at first, because some of the companies we talked to ran load calcs to size the system (which is required if you want an Xcel rebate). Royal's didn't run load calcs but sized the system based on the manufacturer's recommendations and their own experience. In the end, it worked out fine and the system is performing well so far. We got some great, high efficiency equipment installed at a very good price, even without the Xcel rebates. (We actually saved a lot of money by going with Royal's and skipping the rebates.)

During our installation, Ray made sure that everything done was to our satisfaction. He and DJ were always professional and friendly during the 2 days it took to install our system, even when some minor complications came up that were beyond their control. The price remained as quoted and there were no surprises. I would highly recommend Ray at Royal's Heating to help you on your home HVAC needs.
