The Genesis Group did an incredible job giving our yard a complete makeover. Each person at each step of the process was honest and great to work with: Benjamin, who helped re-design our yard and picked out the plants; Ivan and Lee, who coordinated the project; and Hugo and his team, who did all the work on our yard. Everyone went above and beyond to give us a yard that we would love and they succeeded. Highly recommend.

From the very beginning of our experience working with Benjamin and his beautiful design to the accommodation and professionalism of Lee as well as the efficiency of Ivan and the crew who repeatedly went above and beyond for us, we would give the Genesis Group six stars if we could! We are thrilled with our results and the improvement in our property. We will definitely use this company again if future projects arise.

Genesis gave our backyard a complete makeover - and we are on cloud 9. They removed the vast majority of our hill, built a retaining wall, installed in a drainage system, poured concrete for our patio and basketball court, brought in rock, and laid sod. It was a huge project. From start to finish, they were creative, professional, communicative, and kind.

In the design phase, Barry patiently listened to us and captured our vision (multiple times). He ensured that water drainage was prioritized and gave us options to consider. We felt heard, supported, and excited.

Lee, our project manager, checked in on us almost daily. He was with us every step of the way - in person and over phone, text, and email. We felt cared for, understood, in the know, and confident. Any time we had a question or concern, Lee took the time to call/meet with us. By the end of the project, he felt like an old friend.

The crews were very respectful, hardworking, efficient, skilled, and kind (especially with our little kids). They checked in with us to make sure we were happy with the wall shape and boulder placement. They came early, stayed late, and worked through snow. They went above and beyond in every way.

To top it off, Genesis also brought in more rock, fabric, and edging to touch up our neighbor's strip of property that we had permission to drive on.

I couldn't recommend Genesis more highly. We absolutely love our backyard - it is better than we imagined.

Update:
A massive thunderstorm came through late summer and washed away some of the dirt behind our retaining wall (we are at the bottom of a hill and receive the watershed from the neighbors above too). Genesis came out the very next morning to take a look and told us that they would take care of us. Within days, Ivan and his crew were back, hand-carrying gravel in buckets (as to not damage the new concrete and sod) to the backyard to repair and reinforce the corner of the wall. The wall and landscaping look as good as it did the day it was finished. So grateful for how this company has looked after us and stood by their work.

I cannot recommend The Genesis Group highly enough! From the first phone call, they were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about our vision for a new backyard deck and fencing.

The entire process was seamless from design to completion. The same crew arrived on time every day, worked efficiently, and kept the job site remarkably clean at the end of each shift. Their craftsmanship is truly exceptional, and the finished product is absolutely beautiful!

I also appreciated their transparency regarding pricing and the peace of mind that comes with knowing they truly stand behind their work. I recommend the Genesis Group. Five stars!

Genisis group did an amazing job in our backyard. We had a 60x10 deck installed with steel joist and composite decking. We also had artificial turf and concrete work done. Jared (sales), Elijah (deck PM), and Lee ( Landscape PM) absolute crushed it. They made sure the project was running smoothly and was commutative throughout the whole process. We can’t thank your team enough for the tremendous work they did.

Peter came out and sent me a detailed estimate and worked with me about what I could afford to do. Sal and guys did a excellent job. The exterior of my house looks wonderful! I will be using them in the future.

We are extremely happy with the work Carroll Painting did on our home! Peter, the owner, was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He helped guide us with color selection and took the time to thoroughly walk through the house before providing a very fair estimate.

His team was outstanding! professional, skilled, detail-oriented, and respectful of our home throughout the entire project. Peter was personally on-site every day overseeing the work and making sure everything was done to the highest standard. He even noticed and marked small touch-ups that we hadn’t seen ourselves.

What really stood out was his commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. He went above and beyond, even completing additional work that wasn’t included in the original quote. It's been close to 2 weeks since Peter came by for an estimate. I haven't heard from him since. Don't ask me how they got 5 stars from anyone. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Excelllent quality work and attention to detail. Communication was occasionally a struggle but well worth it for a job well done. Everyone I had the pleasure of interacting with was very kind and knowledgeable.

Peter was very helpful and accomplished everything that was discussed. The final job was excellent.

Peter Carroll really disappointed when I contacted him over a week ago. We scheduled a time for him to come over and give an estimate and immediately he seemed annoyed and aggravated. He was very rude and seemed completely uninterested.

After walking around the house briskly in an awkward silence he shortly says that he will send me a quote. No "Thank you", no "have a nice day"... absolutely zero kindness and it appeared he just wanted to leave so he could catch bigger fish.

I understand I wasn't looking for a big job to be completed so it's easy to not be concerned about the money on his end. But for the OWNER of the company to falsely say he will "email me a quote" and then not hear from him in over a week is poor business etiquette.

I have to agree with the other 1 and 2 star reviewers. I arranged to have an estimate by Peter Sr and he came over and we walked the house. I do have to say I don't think he was in a rush to get out or rude at anytime. I know I wasn't asking for a big project. It would have been nicer to either discuss the job on the phone or at the end of the walk through be told that the job was too small instead of an estimate will be emailed. And never to hear from him again. Even after I sent an email with a small addition and followed up with a phone call. I should have heeded the warning of the other lower reviews; Instead of all the other 5 stars. Maybe you have a better experience if you have a bigger job for them to do.

The price seemed great compared to other companies the only problem is after our stucco was completed we had it inspected by a third party stucco inspector all I can say they know nothing about stucco I would not recommend them to anyone maybe paint but do not hire them for stucco their work is cheap very cheap and their patching is terrible. Not only that but the warranty is not backed up by peter go else where do not risk re doing your home again

Painted our 3,200 square foot house in Briargate. Great and thorough job preparing house. Excellent paint job, attention to detail, and professionalism. Best paint job we've ever had. Very reasonable price, yet high quality work and paint. These guys are the BEST!

I had an estimate scheduled with Peter. He seemed very irritated and in a rush during the walk through. At the end of the walk through he said he would email me an estimate. I even sent a followup email with the additional information he needed. I never heard back. I understand it was a small office space. But he could have the decency to tell me the job was too small for him. Instead, I waited two weeks for a followup for no reason. I went with CertaPro they are fast, friendly, and reasonably priced!

I waited a few weeks before I gave this review, just to make sure everything still looked good and repairs were done right and i could not have been more pleased. 4 weeks after they completed my interior work I am still smiles and very happy that I chose Carroll Painting. I recommend them to anyone.
