Jay & Carter did a great job for our home! The work is perfect & thorough. Jay kept me informed the whole time and didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond to make sure we were happy & safe. Great work ethic & trustworthy guys.

After discovering a horrific mold issue in the home, the last thing you want is company coming in pencil whipping an estimate, or trying to upsell you in products or services. I’m so glad to have found Colorado Water Mold and Restoration!!
The speed with which they replied to the call made showed professionalism and that they truly care. Within a matter of days a man came out with meters to find moisture, measured the entire area. He wrote us a quote and had the issue scheduled to be resolved. We did have to have a secondary company come out for environmental testing since the house was built before 1978. That was done for the safety of everyone; residents and workers alike. They supplied dehumidifiers to help the moister issue until the day of mitigation ( I think that’s the term. 🤪 Not great with big words.) They keep you informed on every step of the process. Things were explained in detail and answered any questions we had. Even the call made on a Sunday afternoon because of a minor freak out over insurance stuff that no one seemed to comprehend… they did. They were always on top of it and they do the hard stuff for you.
I probably would have lost my ever loving mind if I had to deal with that. But they calmed fears quickly.
Professional, thoughtful, honest🌟 I would absolutely recommend Shane and his crew. They also do an incredible job if you find your self in deep… um… excrement.

I personally make it a practice not to leave bad reviews. I prefer to only review when I have something stellar to say. I’m making an exception here, mostly because they really pressed me to leave a review “but only if it’s a good one.”

Stay away from this company! They do not deliver on their promises, reliability is sorely lacking and overall just not a very professional outfit - from top to bottom. It says they have been in business 30+ years. Maybe so, but likely different ownership. GM is brand new and was brought in to clean things up and grow business. Service was TERRIBLE and unreliable. Not what anyone needs when disaster strikes.

Our water heater failed in the night. We awoke to soaked carpet in the finished basement. Called all the known & trusted companies at 7:30 AM. No one could come until 10 AM. Knew nothing about this company and had never heard of them, except website states 30+ years in business and they answered the phone. Said they would arrive in 20 mins. Arrived an hour later.

Pulled padding and some carpet to dispose. Set up fans. We agreed upon a price for initial stage. Received texts and a vm message an hour later asking for payment, but no invoice had ever been received. Had to call and say “hey, I have not received an invoice to pay.”When invoice finally came a few hours later it was marked up $350 higher than we agreed. Had to call to remind both GM and Matt of what they had both agreed upon. Finally got a revised invoice.

Before the guys left, they requested a 10 AM appt 3 days later to pick up equipment and test for moisture readings in drywall and baseboards. They picked day and time. Three days later no one showed up at their chosen appt time. No one called. I called 30 mins after no show and was told they would arrive in 12 mins. Thirty minutes later - an hr late, two young guys showed up to pick up equipment. They had no ability to test for moisture and were not trained or told to do so. Totally unaware that moisture readings were the primary purpose of the appt. One of the guys banged fans into the door trim not once but 2x carrying fans out. He not only dented the wood trim but also removed paint in 2 places. When he was asked not to do that, he was terribly disrespectful to the point of having to ask him not to return inside the home. His response: I don’t want to be here anyway. Just the type of (non) professional you want in your home!

Called GM about no one showing up for a moisture reading before equipment removed and about the no show. He was completely clueless and asked for the end of the day to figure something out.

This company is HIGHLY unprofessional and unreliable.

There are many other very good service providers. When an emergency hits you, you need peace of mind, professionalism and reliability. Keep looking. I recommend avoiding this one.

Some photos after and before the work! Jay did a great job cleaning up the mold that we discovered while rennovating. They came in during the busy holiday season, secured the area and completed it all in a day!

We needed to get our bathroom and ceiling below bathroom done after some leaking and they did a wonderful job! Everyone we met from beginning to end of the project was great and helped answer any questions we had. Jason and Jose were fantastic, they did a great job and finished everything quicker than we expected. Communication and attention to detail were great, and their invoice is very clear, detailed, and easy to understand. Would highly recommend!

Matt was able to come give us a quote quickly and help get us scheduled for repairs to remove mold in a cabinet and repair a hole in the ceiling caused by a leaking sink. Jay came out for the repairs and did a fantastic job. Super professional and an excellent repair job!

Our basement laundry room flooded. We had standing water and found mold when we pulled back baseboards. Jay and Anthony did a wonderful job with our demo, mold remediation, replacing dry wall, and getting the room back to normal. They were professional, hard working, and respectful of our home. Grateful for the hours they put in making sure the job was done right. I would highly recommend Colorado Water and Mold Restoration. The pictures below are of the scary mold we found, and our room after the remediation and restoration. You can see everything is good as new!
