I am so pleased with the service I received from Andrew (American Electrican). He arrived on time, was very professional and was able to explain to me in simple terms what my issue was. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again for any future electrical needs!

From scheduling to job completion, they exceeded expectations. Phil called when he was en route, early in the arrival window. He installed a ceiling fan with no problem. It took an hour. Very professional and efficient and skilled. Great value for the money. I would highly recommend this company.

American Electrician is the only electrician I will use. They are knowledgeable, honest and friendly. They grounded every outlet in my entire (older) house and installed a larger power box. I was able to secure a 24 month interest free loan through American Electrician, to make payments on them bringing my home up to current code. I trust that I will receive ethical service whenever I call American Electrician, and I am extremely grateful for their consistently superb service.

Was easy to get an appointment. Electrician called to inform me that he was on the way at the appointment time. Kept blowing light bulbs and electrician could exactly find anything significant to cause problem but it's working now after he tightened up all wires in the ceiling and wall outlet. Thanks, as I was getting tired of using the bathroom in the dark, lol.
He also went a little further and discussed some safety issues that I never thought of. Main one replacing circuit breakers, wall outlet/switches after 30 years.
I've done business with them in the past and are happy with their service.

Excellent work, Matthew was courteous, helpful and cleaned up. He switched out 4 lights for me and they look amazing!

My home renovation company worked with this company for over a year on several different houses. Initially they were fabulous, until we asked them to put in a new hot water heater. The water heater kept going out and we had a lot of trouble relighting it. We finally thought we had it working. Then the house went under contract and the buyer’s inspector arrived to find the water heater out again. Since the house is unoccupied, nobody had noticed. My huge concern was that the INSPECTOR SAID THAT THE UNIT, WHICH I BOUGHT AS NEW, DID NOT LOOK NEW TO HIM. The home inspector tried to get the hot water heater going and failed. My team members tried and failed. Finally, one of the employees of American Electrician came over and spent an hour to get the unit started.

The buyer was upset with me because I advertised the hot water heater as new, and her inspector said it was not. They thought I was deceiving them and backed out of the contract. This cost me a lot of money because the sale fell through and I have to pay additional carrying costs on the house.
I called JEFF JENNINGS , who runs the company. He insisted that the hot water heater was new, despite the 2021 date on the side (see photo.) Upon closer inspection, there was some corrosion and the door was missing. I asked American Electrician to replace the unit with a new one. JEFF JENNINGS told me that he had to work with the manufacturer and get the replacement approved by them before he could do that for me and that would take 3 MONTHS.
I requested that they replace the hot water heater and work with the manufacturer on their own timeline. Initially, he refused. (See the attached texts!) I had to get insistent before they agreed to come take away the old hot water heater and replace it with a new one. Fun fact: the date on the new hot water heater is 2024.
Use caution when dealing with this company .

Phil from American Electrician and Heating came over to install 6 outlets and a light fixture in my garage. He showed up right on time and finished the job correctly and quickly! He was very pleasant and easy to talk to about my situation. Andrew gave me an accurate bid at a good price and had my work completed the very next day! Andrew Scott was wonderful. He was very professional and explained everything to me. He re-educated me about the electrical panel and was not at all condescending! I would welcome him back in my home any time to work on my electricity issues!

Dean did an excellent job. He identified and fixed the issue in about an hour, educated me on the problem, and was patient w8th my kids and chaotic house.

American kept me up to date on my appointment and his timeline, and followed up afterwards to make sure I was satisfied.

Not much reason to go anywhere else.

Dain was very informative and it was a good visit. He made me aware of many things that I was not familiar with. I appreciated his concern and honesty. Looking forward to having the work done. I will feel safer because of it.

The electrician arrived promptly and was able to diagnose my problem with a flickering light in an old vistorian very quickly, putting me at ease. The price was reasonable for a few other updates like a dimmer switch. I have a larger project also that I am seriously considering after hearing his well-detailed bid to update my square footage in a partially finished basement. I could tell Philip cared about how tariffs might affect consumers also in the coming months. Based on this experience I say say that American Electrical made a good first impression.

Wow! Mario is my new go-to electrician! He was on time. He was dressed professionally. He reviewed the job notes and surveyed the work areas. Mario listened well to complete the work as I intended. Of the two tasks he immediately noticed an issue after removing the socket face plate and removed the outlet - a punch-in socket. He fixed that issue replacing the socket. He moved on to the next task adding a new socket. No issues. He tested all work. He cleaned all work areas. Mario kept me informed the entire time. He verified with me the work to be done was accomplished. I am very pleased with Mario's work and look forward to having him back for all of our electrical needs and will surely refer him and American Electrician to others.

Dain was very helpful and clearly told me want was wrong with the power outlet and what needs to be done. Also recommend install a surge protector to the main power panel and also explain why we might needed. Setting up the appointment was easy. Went on Angi to get some quotes. They called within two hours and setup appointment was made right away. Dain showed up early and called ahead to make we were home. This is how I always hope setting up appointments go when need work on my home. Thank you very much for evertmything.

We have used American Electrician several times over the years and recently had Andrew come out to troubleshoot our roof de-icing cables that suddenly stopped working. Andrew was very polite, answered all our questions and he was able to diagnose the problem quickly and fix it. He showed up on time and gave us a courtesy call when he was on his way. Highly recommend Andrew and American Electrician. Thanks again Andrew!

Nathan showed up on time, checked everything out and installed a new switch and GFI as well as checking out all the electrical in the rest of the house. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. A great experience!

I can’t say enough about his level of expertise; promptness; commitment to getting the job done as discussed during the initial conversation; and overall involvement during the entire process. Electricians have been awesome for going on 4 years now. We have had many different services over the years and always get top notch service.
