As a business owner i know how devastating bad reviews are, but this was an all around terrible experience. The only reason i am not leaving a 1 star review is because the electrical hook up worked, but please read until the end to learn why i left 2 stars:

From beginning to end it was a hassle. After receiving a high quote for the job, i told the technician if he could finish the same day (because i could be home all that day) i would hire him for the job, he told me it was no problem. After a few hours on the job he told me that he couldn’t finish by the day (friday) and he would have to come back Monday. On Monday, I had to go to work and came back to loose wires everywhere, excessive holes drilled into my house and into my sauna (the job was a sauna hook up), and several more things that “worked” but was clearly unfinished. and was told by the employee that he didn’t have a certain tool for one of the sensors to be put in so i would need to go buy the tool and put it in myself.

This isn’t even the bad part.

I called the company and briefly spoke to an employee and said that there are issues with the job, one being the wires were loose and one was tied around the other cable which prevents me from placing the wire guards on (which i called trim over the phone, big mistake). After speaking to Mr Electric himself, Scott, i was told that i was insulting to the employee for sharing what i felt was a incomplete/unfinished job and he told me all of the incomplete/unfinished work i was referring to was purely cosmetic (because i said trim). I proceeded to tell him that it was a mistake saying trim and the wooden weather guards were to protect the wires for longevity sake, which he completely ignored and kept saying it was cosmetic and just ‘my preference’

Aside from that, there were loose wires which leaves the wiring vulnerable to weather and rain, debris, or even people walking by and accidentally pulling it. (For example the employee left the electronic sauna control pad unmounted and on the ground because he ‘didn’t know where i wanted it to go’).

Long story short, after asking him to send the technician back i was told i needed to take responsibility for my part in the miscommunication, which would have been completely voided if the technician would have finished on the original day instead of Monday when I had to leave for work. He wanted me to pay an additional fee (after paying over 2k for the original job) to have his employee come back out. After a long banter back and forth i finally convinced him to look at some photos. he told me to send him pictures to see what was going on.

Any electrician can do a hook up like this. I had a good experience with the technician who helped, however i believe they are over priced, cant meet deadlines and the owner will gaslight you, tell you that you are at fault and point fingers if there are any issues that come up. I will be learning and re-wiring and redoing the wiring that was incomplete. Wish me luck!

I called Mr Electric late on Tuesday and by Wednesday at noon they had been to my home and completed the requested service…, amazing. The technician was friendly, thoroughly explained our options and cleaned up before leaving. The price was extremely fair and I will not hesitate to call them again. Mr Electric is part of the Neighborly group and I personally know that Mr Handyman, Precision Garage Door and 5 Star Painting are also top notch home service providers under that neighborly umbrella.

I asked for a estimate to install a 240 outlet for my EV. Instead, I got a lecture on how outdated my houses wiring is and they wanted to know if I wanted to make all these changes to the house wiring. All I ask for was an estimate of the plug. Now, I understand them telling me that it is a 100 Amp breaker, but they wanted to charge me $1,700 to install this plug. Others are willing to do if for much less. Pays to get many quotes, then you can see who the crooks are!

This company does shady underhanded things when they lose a contract for work. I would not trust them on any of my properties for as much as an outlet change, and will spread the word about their ways to all of my real estate contacts. Do yourself a favor and run away!

We recently had our electrical panel upgraded by Mr. Electric. They provided excellent service, great pricing and Dain was especially helpful in explaining the whole process as well as doing a great job! Dain went above and beyond and we really appreciated it.

I wanted to add two outlets , after calling 10 companies, I got three estimates in a week, the reason I choose Mr. electric is Dain was nice and he knew what he should do, and they got me on the schedule pretty quickly and Dain did good job !!! Even it’s kind of pricey, but I’d rather pay for professional than mess up by myself. I like people have good attitude about their job and being efficient. I will definitely call Mr. Electric again if i have other electrician work!

Dominic was so professional knows his job, described in detail everything he was doing ,went over my inspection with me told me what needed to be done. I would definitely use his service again or recommend him to a friend,

The response to evaluate the job was immediate! Harold arrived to assess what was needed to hang a very expensive crystal chandelier. When he and Domenic showed up the following week to install it, they had the matching material to extend the wire, added new chain and modified the mounting plate in order to hang it. They even offered to hang all the crystals! They were professional, yet very personable! The job was completed in a timely manner, yet they took the needed time to handle this heirloom with care! They cleaned up well after the job was complete. I would highly recommend their services to anyone!

Mr. Electric has been a great find! Ours was a complex project. It required power infrastructure modifications to accommodate fully electric hot water system upgrades now, and prepare for fully electric heating system upgrades in the future. The lead electrician Don Keller guided me through the design phase with thoughts on how I might best accomplish a long term goal of solar. He and his assistant Austin worked well as a team, installing wiring in challenging locations and accurately mapping legacy residential circuits. They arranged for permitting and ensured that the new installation would achieve code requirements. The best part was their ability to explain everything in layperson terms. The price was within our budget. I highly recommend this service provider for residential upgrades like ours!
