You guys lost a longtime customer today. Four years ago you replaced every single outlet and almost every light switch in our old home, for the cost of several hours of work, less than $700 total if I remember correctly when all was said and done. I learned today, in our new house (3 years old, new construction), that the builder's electrician backstabbed most of the outlets, and that ideally we should replace them all. I agree....in time. What I don't agree with, is that you now want to charge me $800.... for ONE ROOM. I said NO to your tech, had one burned out outlet replaced, for $116, and I was told they don't charge by the hour anymore, but by the job, for most jobs. Well, I will be finding a new electrician now! I previously recommended you guys to everyone who asked for an electrician and always gave you my family's business. No more! Apparently they also just got bought by another local company, so my guess is we're on our way to Swartz being like Wirenut. Later today, I received an email with the estimate for what the tech was trying to communicate he thought I should do, come to find out you're trying to sell a total house rewire, including a new panel... on a 3 year old house! What a joke! What happened to your integrity?

Absolutely fantastic service. Jack was very professional and explained the process of the repair to me. We needed our breaker box replaced. He arrived on time and they even sent a text reminder the day before and a text when he was on the way. Jack completed the job and kept everything clean after working. He was very personable and efficient. We will definitely call Swartz again if we need electrical work done.

I recently had Swart Electric come out to replace a breaker, and my experience was very disappointing. The technician went ahead and did the work without clearly telling me the cost beforehand. After it was done, I was charged $400 for what seemed like a simple breaker replacement.
They are not the same company they used to be. Ever since they were bought out by R Buck, the service and pricing seem very different and not in a good way.
Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Robert Duncan is a very professional and pleasant young man. He did an electrical inspection per our service contract. He found numerous items that needed attention. We were pleased to have him address several items. We'll be getting more work done in the future! We'd be glad to recommend him.
