Ive used Turf Surfers for 2 years now, they do my sprinkler turn on in the spring, mow my lawn all starting in spring, all summer, and fall until i have them do my sprinkler blow out and turn off. They are very professional, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have a good looking yard, but doesnt have the time to maintain it themselves.

Arrived promptly and did a great job aerating and fertilizing. Needed some help adjusting all our sprinklers which they took care of. Would definitely use them again!

Gave an honest estimate about the water valve for the sprinkler system. Saved me the 200$ for the guts of the balance and replaced the entire piece for 250$. I have used them for the second time for seed and aeration and they did a swift and informative job. Little higher priced on the valve replacement but it was a one and done replacement and never to be worried about again so not so bad. Friendly and customer friendly. I would recommend and use again.

Way overpriced and very poor service. I scheduled a spring package (aeration, fertilizer, sprinkler start up) and lawn edging. The owner, Gerry, confirmed service for an arrival window of 8:30-10:30 am. On the day of service, 10:30 rolled around and no one showed up. By 11:30 I called the owner to ask if the service was still scheduled, and he said the guy was running late from the last job. Not sure why I had to call them to find out why they were running late, and Gerry didn't seem too concerned or apologetic.

Guy finally shows up and completes the aeration and fertilizer. He starts the sprinkler start up as well. I inquired about the edging and he told me their edger is broken but he can go get his boss's personal edger and come back. I said that was fine, assuming he had finished the other services. He called maybe an hour after he left asking if he could come back to edge after the next job he had to go to. I said that was fine.

In the meantime, I ran the sprinklers since fertilizer was laid, only to find out that the schedule was not set appropriately, the heads were not adjusted for proper coverage, and two heads needed replacing. 6:30pm rolled around and I've heard nothing from the employee about coming back to do the edging. I texted him asking if he was coming back, and he said he was on his way. An hour later he still hasn't arrived and I texted again. He said he was 8 minutes away. Finally after 8pm it's now dark and I told him I don't want the edging done in the dark. He said he could still adjust the heads and replace one of the broken ones in the dark without running the water (I'm no sprinkler expert, but I know that you need to see the water run to know where coverage is needed, and that requires water and light). I said no thanks. He ended up arriving shortly after I declined the service and changed out the one head anyway, which I later found out wasn't even done correctly, hence why you don't repair sprinklers in the dark without being able to run the water.

I emailed the boss saying only the aeration and fertilizer were completed and to only bill me for those services. It took him a week to respond to me. Apparently these people charge so much that they don't even care about your money or business. He said he would reschedule the services that weren't completed, but I had had enough. By the time he responded I was able to do most of it myself with the help of my father in law.

Don't waste your time or money with this company. Absolutely atrocious customer service and ridiculous prices. $125 for aeration and fertilizer! You can get that for $55-$60 anywhere else. I deeply regret hiring them and would not recommend.

Turf Surfers was great. I was late to order my lawn aeration and sprinkler blowout. Turf Surfers was able to do the work the next day when 4 other companies said No. They not only did the work quickly and professionally but they took the time to point out a few tips about our sprinkler system. We will definitely use them again.

Had aeration/sprinkler start-up & gutter cleaning done. Have been working with turf surfers for sprinkler blowout and start-up for a few seasons already and they are amazing. Very helpful and they answer any questions I may have. Definitely recommend.

What a great company! I've used them for the last few years to blow out my sprinkler system, but last year, a September freeze caught me by surprise, leaving my manifold cracked. I called Gerry, and he listened to the issue, and asked for photos. Upon receipt of the photos, he rightfully noted that my current equipment was bottom-of-the-line and recommended an upgrade. His quote was reasonable and I am a firm believer in doing things the right way, the first time. We moved ahead. The servicemen arrived when he said they would, but started running into issues connecting the manifold with the existing, cheap, equipment. They put together a plan, and in a few days were back out to my house, fixing it 100%. It was not their fault that my equipment was completely stripped, and I expected an extra charge for two different trips. To my surprise, the invoice comes in at the exact quoted price. It's this kind of service that leads to lifetime customers and Turf Surfers are on the top of my list. They should be on yours too!

Best aeration I have ever had done! They did an excellent job and were very courteous and came when they said they would come.

I’ve been using Turf Surfers’ services for the last six years for sprinkler services and routine lawn care. As a first time homeowner with not a lot of knowledge of irrigation systems, Gerry and his people took care of me and my lawn. Gerry is very communicative and would reply to my email questions directly, even on weekends/non-business hours. I could tell he really cared for his clients. I just recently sold my home and Gerry was there to help me ensure everything was good to go for the new homeowners along with the help of Zach, who has also been great as well. I just want to give a big thanks to Gerry and his crew for being an integral part of keeping my yard as my personal sanctuary all these years. I highly recommend these folks and will be using them again with no hesitation once I’m back in town. Thank you for everything, Gerry!

We contacted Turf Surfers to get a broken sprinkler repaired. They did an excellent job with the repair, so we asked Turf Surfers to mow our lawn for a few weeks. They came out regularly to mow our lawn, also doing an excellent job with that. The team was prompt and courteous.

Came out, fixed the damaged wires to my sprinkler valves, got them working again in no time. Sprinklers were then blown out with no issues. Very friendly and knowledgeable individuals. Will use them again for dure.

I've been struggling with this sprinkler issue for over eight months now, going back and forth. It felt like I had countless people come out electricians, landscapers, you name it but nobody could figure out what was wrong.

Today, Robert and Troy came to my house, and I can’t say enough good things about them. They were incredibly professional, kind, and patient. They took the time to explain everything to me and got the job done quickly.

Turf Surfers have been servicing my Lawn and fixing repairs for me for the past 10 years. His crews are always profession and polite. For the big repairs, like broken lines or sprinkler updates the owner would stop by to see how things are going. They are really good.

The two-man crew arrived promptly and got right to work with our yard clean up. They did a very nice job! The only downside was not knowing how long the yard work would take so not knowing the actual cost until it was finished. I would use this company again for future work and recommend them to others!

I didn’t realize this is the service you offer. You winterized it last year and prior to it being done all sprinklers were working fine. I ‘m discourage that I have to wait to the end of the month to find out the problem while my lawn is dying as I’m doing my best watering manually. Didn’t realize this is what I had to look forward to when seeking your service. Being handicapped it’s not save for me to diagnosed the problem if I wasn’t taught/trained from the beginning when I paid for your service and to tell me I have to wait until the end of the month to seek repair. Not impressed Gary this is how you treat your customers. Is this your answer to read your comments to fix the problem. We’re looking at 10 minutes at most. Please advise!!!

After my grandmother passed away we needed help maintaining her house and yard, but all of our family is out of state. Turf Surfers were quick to respond to my request for information and even quicker when they came to clean up the yard. They were courteous and professional and did an amazing job in a short amount of time. They offered money saving options, understanding our situation. I would highly recommend them and will be happy to use their services in the future.
