I spoke with a sales guy names Mark discussed with him that I just wanted to get rid of the weeds he sent me the link and assured me that if i just did the service agreement and not confirm the plan I would keep the discount but not get the service done until I confirmed it. However without even confirming the program the service guy still showed up… I was upset but went with it because I did want to get rid of the weeds but I was still looking for others options. The next day i got the invoice saying that my first service for the tree and shrub program was completed. I do not have a single tree or shrub on my lawn I was charged for a program and had chemicals sprayed in my yard for no reason. The sales guy Mark told me to call him anytime if I had problems or questions about my service I have called him and left voicemails multiple times a day for 2 weeks now! I am pissed, out $147 and still have a yard filled with weeds. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Called customer service and got everything canceled I will not be using them ever again.

The service technician is very polite, comes to the door to let me know he is here and asks if I have any questions or concerns. I have a brown spot in the lawn and he immediately went to look at it and told me what he found. He works efficiently but doesn't skimp on getting the product everywhere on the lawn. I am very pleased with the years of service I have received from TruGreen and often get compliments on our lawn

I was happy with them in the beginning but going on 5+ weeks I can’t get any individual to spray my weeds. The unfortunate thing is I paid up front for a year service. I can’t even get someone to call me back in regards to that.

Brenden was wonderful. He was the first technician to ring the doorbell, introduce himself, explain what he was going to do, then came again after completion and spoke with me. I wish the other tech's were as great as he was.

This was a redo of my aeration and overseeding. The second attempt was excellent, the plugs were uniform in length and spacing and the lawn was properly over seeded compared to the crappy job that was performed the first time.
I was pleased with the response I received to make it right.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE - Honestly, if I could give negative 5 stars, heck even more, I would. Trugreen in Colorado Springs is by far the worst... the only TRU about them, is they are truly the most dishonest company out there. If you do not have cameras surrounding your home, I would highly encourage for you to get some. This company, not only once, but multiple times said they did a service at my home and I clearly had the evidence from my home security cameras that they didn't even come to my house. The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they "went to the wrong house." Although I had neighbors check their security cameras and there was no sight of a Trugreen vehicle at all. Fast forward to my last "service," by now they should know by home.... I happened to be home that day and my fence to my yard was locked. I saw Trugreen pull up to my house, the guy walked up to my fence, saw it was locked, went back to his vehicle, and sent a message claiming that the service was completed. I was expecting him to at least come to my front door to ring the doorbell so I could open the fence, nope. He didn't. No call, nothing. Just as I expected. I have just never been home to actually witness with my own eyes and not just by my cameras. Not only that, I have contacted Trugreen about this three times now, since this last visit they did not do, and they are trying to charge me. I continue to get, "I am sending this issue up higher. You will get a call in the next 24-48 hours." Guess what, I haven't received one call from "higher." I'm not going to chase after them when they should have better customer service to take care of the dishonest people they have "servicing" your lawn and take care of the CUSTOMER. They have the audacity to call multiple times a day with a recording about the payment they want for a service they didn't complete. Seriously, if you are giving your money to this dishonest company, I really hope your services are actually being completed. Now, I'm in the process of going through legal about this concern because Trugreen refuses to handle it at their company level.

If you want a yard that will look worse than before they touched it, a headache, dishonesty, and agree to pay for services you don't receive, Trugreen in Colorado Springs is the company for you!

What a waste! I was sold a plan for my lawn and did not see much improvement in a year so I called to cancel my plan and the sales person told me it was because I had bought the cheap plan and that if I had paid for the more expensive plan, I would have seen improvement. I paid $500 for a small lawn. They serviced my lawn for a year and did not tell me it wouldn't work!!

Trugreen has done a very good job of maintaining my yard this year. The yard looks better this year than it has in about three years. Thanks to your technicians!!!

Completed my initial treatment and I paid. Once completed the Trugreen workers said “if all your weeds are not gone, we will come back out and spray again for free.” 4 weeks pass and they come back and spray again. Now, my phone rings consistently through the day with Trugreen calling from multiple numbers filling my voicemail asking for payment for something I was told was free. I do not recommend this company unless you like having 18 calls a day and being charged for things you shouldn’t.

Update 20 March 2025:

So not long after making this initial review, I had contacted Trugreen and let them
know I was no longer interested in Trugreen or its services, The man on the phone did not want to let me cancel and kept lowering the price for services to which I would respond “I am no longer interested in working with Trugreen please delete my
account and info.” He says everything is complete and deleted. Less than a week after this call, My wife calls me worried because there is a random man in our backyard, I check my cameras and see that Trugreen decided to make an appointment for a service, show up, spray and not say a word about anything. I make another call to Trugreen, let them know I was upset that they would put their workers life on the line for a 40$ spray, expressed that I was very unhappy, and that they needed to delete my account. Yet, here they are, still calling me about services and payments for things I never asked for. I wish I could give 0 stars to the herpes of landscaping.

Great service today the technician was knowledgeable and professional, as I was working on my yard he came back after I had completed my yard work. Very efficient and cleaned up after the job was done. He is to be commended for an excellent job

Paid for lawn care service May 12. They told me 10 days for the service schedule. I called and they stated 10 ‘Business’ days. I called again, they said June 11. Called again June 12, no service was scheduled, was told “10 business days” for a refund. They took my money, did not provide service and now playing games with the refund.
I waited a month, no service, now I’m doing spring treatment with my lawn late June.

UPDATE: Even though the business has replied, don't let that make you think they made things right. They have not! I have repeatedly told them to stop contacting me and take me off their call list. They keep contacting me to the point of harassment and I'm about to file a report.
I have had the most trouble with this business. When I signed up with them I told them we keep our fence locked at all times and they must call us the day before they come so that we can have the backyard accessible to them. They agreed to this and said it was no problem. I had issues with them last year and almost canceled because they would fail to call or text the day before and would show up and only do the front yard. When they came this year I made sure they understood that this wasn't acceptable and they promised they would do better if I stayed. I gave them another chance. This past summer I had to go to Florida for a family emergency, but my husband and daughter were here. Not once did they notify the us day before coming out, and the entire 3 months I was gone (the majority of summer) the backyard wasn't done. When I got back the back yard was infested with weeds in the yard and overgrowth and weeds all around the perimeter. When I called them to complain they again said the were so sorry, please give them another chance. I said okay. They were supposed to come out soon to do the things they never did this past summer, but no one ever came and there was no contact. I finally put up our Halloween decorations which take up most of the front yard. Suddenly today someone from TruGreen shows up at the door to do fall fertilizing (which is an add on service I didn't contract them to do, and cost extra). No prior notification whatsoever. I let him know through the door bell not do do anything and to have customer service call me. I am canceling services with them. I have not received what I have paid for and I am finished listening to excuses.

I told the technician TWICE I did not want my back lawn serviced until March or April. I told him Friday that I would call him when I was ready. I told him AGAIN on Monday when he randomly showed up after being told I would call when ready. I made it crystal clear I had ice in my backyard and wanted it to melt before wasting chemicals on top of ice. I have the conversation recorded on my ring camera since I was not home. None of these conversations indicated he should come back again uninvited and without permission to service my front yard which I clearly told him I absolutely do not want serviced. Talking to him was like arguing with a used car salesman. I dont need a technician arguing with me when I say I'm not ready for service. It's my yard and my money. Today he showed up did not ring my doorbell never spoke to anyone and decided to put something on my yard. I have no idea what he put down because he never got my permission to do anything in my front yard. He didnt ring the bell because he knew i would say no again for the third time. I did not authorize this service and am furious your technician intentionally came on to my property without my permission after being told no. The only service I use is to kill the weeds in my backyard. It's sad because the service I requested works awesome.

My yard has never looked so good. Every technician from Trugreen has been courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Each technician has knocked on my door to see if I had any questions about the lawn care. Thank you!

It appeared we were losing several Pine trees. Our lawn service sent out a very knowledgeable man who showed me the spider mites, explained what he would do and assured me that i would not lose the trees. He was very kind snd took lots of time with me, TRUGREEN has been great.

Our trees and shrubs are thriving this year with the TruGreen treatments! It is a great investment because we've lost fewer plants and trees and have less dead wood to trim. We highly recommend TruGreen!

John was very helpful in explaining the different blades of my grass and what was going on. He even recommended that I change my mower blade. He called me and let me know he was here cause I was at work so I appreciate him reaching out and being very thorough.

I’m a skeptic turned believer. I have used the Scott’s 4 Step program for 2 seasons up until this year. I just couldn’t get it to tame an out of control clover issue. Clover was taking over large portions of my backyard. I saw an ad for a half-priced weed control treatment this Summer, and even though I’m really skeptical about products promising dramatic change, TruGreen turned me into a believer. After one treatment I started noticing the clover dying off, after 3 treatments I’m having a hard time finding any clover in my yard. Pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of this product. I’m sold for sure.

Robert is a very pleasant person always has time to say good morning or good afternoon whenever he’s completing a service
