We recently had an air conditioner and whole house humidifier installed by High Country Air and we highly recommend them! Josh Eker, the owner came out to give us a quote. Josh is extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us to answer our questions and concerns. We could tell right away that he is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. Josh is not only the owner and salesman - he also does the installation. When the installation was completed, he did extensive testing to make sure everything was running perfectly. You cannot go wrong with High Country Air!

Josh was recommended on Nextdoor app and I chose to go with him as he is local, gives discounts for teachers and paying cash. He was on time, took his time, walked me through what I needed to have done, and made suggestions that would improve the life and efficiency of my furnace. Josh was awesome!!! He came out and serviced my Furnace, Air, Water heater and Humidifier. He was Knowledgeable, kind and Professional!!! He took the time to explain my humidifier settings and water flow to run efficiently and install the proper hose on the unit. His prices were fair and my invoice had details on everything adjusted, repaired and replaced. His attention to detail was impeccable!! Josh was great. Our furnace stopped working on the evening of Good Friday. We called Josh at 9 am the next morning and he left his family (and out of town guests) to help us out. We had our furnace serviced by High Country Air. We have our furnace serviced every year for the past 10 years. This is the best company we have ever worked with hands down! With his 20 years of experience, he identified three different problems that were never addressed since the furnace was installed. His charges were very reasonable. He also flushed our hot water heater. He did not upsell us anything and prefers to repair rather than replace. We feel fortunate to have found him.

We contacted High Country Air because we had just experienced a high pressure up-sale pitch from other company who was supposed to be doing a HVAC tune-up, but instead built their case as to why we should replace our entire system. We read High Country's reviews, and specially how they do not employ these up-sale tactics. Sure enough, Josh came out, free of charge, to provide us a second opinion, and provided a thorough HVAC inspection. And, of course, we do not require a replacement system at this time. He also thoroughly explained the condition of various components and what we should be watching out for with regard to wear and safety. We will continue to use High Country for all our periodic and all other HVAC maintenance needs, to include full system replacement, when the time comes. We highly, highly recommend High Country Air!! Don't let those other companies bamboozle you into purchasing something you don't need!!

I highly recommend Josh from High Country Air. We had our furnace "serviced" last fall, only to find out it wasn't "serviced" well. It ran fine all winter, but there was always a glitch when it started up. I decided to call Josh this year, as High /country was recommended by homeowners. Josh found most screws holding wires were loose, gas pressure was too high, wires were not connected correctly, & the fan wasn't turned up high enough to distribute the heat. The high gas pressure was causing the unit to over heat, which explained it turning on & off last winter. He tightened & adjusted everything, cleaned the unit, & didn't leave until he knew it was working properly. He stated that the unit is too big for the house for the amount of vents we have. Evidently, builders just turn it on to see if it works. Each unit needs to be programed for each house. He also services tankless hot water heaters. I will be calling him in the spring for the AC service. He's personable, friendly, & knowledgable. Please give him all if you need anything HVAC. You won't be disappointed!
