Josh with High Country was awesome , very personable and showed me everything he was doing . Cleaned furnace and did a maintenance check on it , and then got our whole house humidifier working again and replaced filter ( that i dont think had ever been replaced oops!) I will be using him for all my heating and cooling needs and have already told my neighbors if they need a guy , Josh is the guy! Oh and heres the big thing , i felt like i should have paid him more , where other companies try to almost “rip you off “ at times , Josh was professional and very reasonable in price !

Josh & High Country Air, out of Black Forest, servicing Monument, Colorado Springs, and surrounding area responded wonderfully to our need for heating system upgrades, repair, and maintenance. Where other contractors could not, would not respond to our requests for help, my wife found High Country Air from recommendations on Nextdoor in our area, and I called. Josh answered the phone while driving to a job request, pulled off the highway, and scheduled our service immediately. We requested boiler driven baseboard heating additions to two rooms. Josh recommended only 1 room, and use the current in-floor radiant heating lines for the other room. He was punctual, fair with pricing, backs up his work with a 30 day workmanship guarantee, followed up by phone the next day to check on the status, and was professional & courteous during the day long work project. I would recommend using High Country Air to friends and family in a heartbeat.

Josh was responsive (even answering questions long after installation), reasonably priced, and did great work. Went above and beyond while installing a whole house humidifier, rerouting some randomly installed pipes the original home builder didn’t bother installing in a way to maximize use of our utility closet. Mountain Country Air is now my go-to for all things HVAC.

I’m very grateful for the expertise and professionalism Josh provided. He came out on a Saturday to ensure my furnace was ready for the season, which I truly appreciated. I also loved to support a local family owned business right here in Black Forest Colorado! I will be using him for all of my HVAC needs moving forward, and I trust he’ll take great care of my family’s comfort :)

Josh did a great job checking our furnace and humidifier. He ensured all parameters were running most efficiently and made great recommendations to improve efficiency. We had him do a couple of extra things and feel confident in his knowledge and expertise.

UPDATE: Josh recommended having Colorado Springs Utilities come out and check the regulator in the meter. They did and they were VERY impressed with Josh's attention to detail in noticing something wrong with the readings. They verified his findings and actually replaced the whole meter based on those findings. Josh came out afterwards to make sure all the settings were just right. We must say that we are SO happy with Josh Eker's service, expertise and professionalism.

Probably the best repair/replacement experience of my life has been with Josh at High Country Air. I had an absolutely outstanding experience with High County Air when they replaced my furnace. From the first phone call to the final installation, every step was handled with professionalism, clarity, and genuine care.

I appreciate that Comfort Zone HVAC Repair employs various methods of communication. I received confirmations and updates through text and email leading up to the technician's arrival. Additionally, they sent a picture and a brief bio of the technician, making it easy to identify who you're allowing into your home. Kyle had to replace a damaged HVAC outlet and managed to repair a malfunctioning air vent during the same visit. He explained everything thoroughly, guided me through the suggested task, and provided estimates for a couple of future projects via email. There was no aggressive selling or pressure for extra work, he simply asked if there was anything else I'd like him to inspect. He worked swiftly and everything was tidied up and operational in a short span of time in my Colorado Springs home.

HVAC system inspection was handled by Seth. I initially thought he would attempt to sell me additional products. But instead, he demonstrated step by step the reason why the systems in our nine-year old house were perfectly adequate. I informed him that the outdoor unit required replacement. He inspected it and assured me it was fine, no need for replacement, just a new rubber washer was required. He got one from his truck, showed me how to shut off the power supply while I replaced that washer. We chatted a bit about his background. Despite being only 25, Seth has gained significant hands-on experience. He uses his excellent customer service skills to assist people in getting what they need without any extra hassles or hidden 'catches'. I'm 61 years old and felt like I was conversing with a close family member. Good job, Seth, and thank you for your service in Colorado Springs!

Definitely worth recommending. Woke up to find the upstairs had no cooling. The firm that set up my system when we built the house informed me they couldn't come out for several days. So, I called seth and he was at my dwelling in a few hours. There were no error signals on the air conditioner and it had reset itself. It was functioning well. Seth cleaned the air filter. Fast forward a few days and it stopped functioning once more. Of course, it was a Sunday morning and it was quite hot. Seth arrived at the house within half an hour. He fixed the system and didn't charge me. Any other business would have demanded an emergency and out-of-hours fee. I would give comfort Zone HVAC Repair a 10-star rating if it was possible. Exceedingly professional and highly skilled. I am a customer for life.

Our friends recently had a mini split hvac system installed in their home and were very happy with the whole process, so they told us to go with the same company. our house was a bit tricky for an hvac install because the basement is finished with car siding on the ceiling and the floor plan is different. after we called, brantley reached out to set up a time to look everything over and gave us a quote the same day. a few days later, randall made an appointment to review the installation plan, and after checking things out with us, we all agreed on a better way to place the head unit so nothing would show on the front of the house. jaxon and his team started work a couple days later. they put down protective plastic in all the areas they worked in, and always asked us if they had any questions. they were super friendly and always texted us to let us know when they were arriving or finishing up for the day. every hole they made was sealed up tight, and you could see they really cared about doing a good job and making sure we were happy. they worked hard for two full days and a morning, and another tech came out to help for a bit too. the price they gave us at the start never changed. when the job was done, they went over how to use the system, filled out all the paperwork, and cleaned up inside and outside, even vacuuming everything. it was all very neat and clean. brantley called back to finish paperwork, get serial numbers, offer a maintenance agreement, and make sure we were happy with the service. overall, it was a really professional and great experience.
