Brown’s Heating & Cooling came highly recommended to us by our daughter. So when we needed to have our furnace serviced, we didn’t hesitate to call them. The technician was prompt, extremely knowledgeable, conscientious, courteous, and polite. He did an exceptional job servicing the furnace. He noticed that the humidifier needed to be serviced as well, which is not something we would have thought of.

We will definitely use Brown’s Heating & Cooling in the future.

A/C compressor would not turn on. Called Meyers (Lisa) late in the afternoon before closing and she scheduled me for an immediate appointment for the next day. Tim Brown was the A/C tech that called 15 mins before arriving and showed up as scheduled. Tim Brown, in my opinion, is the BEST A/C tech in the business. ALWAYS professional and knows his profession. When arriving, I told him some symptoms the A/C was doing and he immediately knew the possible issues. Less than 30 mins, A/C was working like new. Thank you Tim and Meyers Heating and Cooling. For 5 years, they have serviced my A/C and Furnance twice a year. I would never use anyone else!!!! Highly Recommend!!!!

Had issues with my A/C and set up an appointment to purchase a new unit. Mike did an amazing job of showing me how to perform annual maintenance on my current unit and improve its performance rather than selling me a new unit. 100% recommend Browns Heating to anyone looking for honest, quality HVAC services!

Long story shorter, I bothered Richard by having him give me 2 bids last August for a Mitsubishi mini-split system with different configurations, and then I bugged him again this month for another bid on a different config. He gave me everything I wanted without any drama and his team came and installed the system this last week. It's beautiful, it works perfectly and they did a great job, so thanks to Justin and Isaiah for their work, and thanks to Richard and Meyers Heating & Air for giving me what I wanted at a good price. One thing I'll mention, if you're a geek like me you check model numbers etc. I had gotten bids last August from several companies and one thing to look out for is potentially an older model that isn't as efficient. Meyers put in the latest models and greatest (efficiency) from Mitsubishi. 5 stars.

My husband and I are so very pleased with this company! Since day one they were extremely helpful and kind. We worked with Mike Highland for the deal and all the different quotes I could possibly think of, he was so patient with me, always open to communicate at any point in time to answer questions or concerns.
We got Andy and Dylan for our installations. They are amazing, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and polite. They set up a new furnace and an AC system on a very efficient timing!
Overall the whole team is excellent and we would recommend this company 100%.

Just moved into our Woodmoor home and there was a Brown’s Heating sticker on the furnace. We had several quotes at our rental property, all were way higher than Brown’s. We had them install AC at both houses, absolutely exceptional. My first call to them, Lisa answered, super friendly, professional, and so organized. Ed came out to give an estimate, and another great interaction. He was very knowledgeable and gave options while explaining what and why in my language. Kyle and Justin showed up on time, clean, professional, very polite and respectful. Totally acknowledged and engaged with all my questions and had all the right questions for me to understand what I wanted. The install was a bit of an issue, our house is like that. Kyle and Justin’s work ethic was unmatched, they didn’t even break for lunch, they were here for almost 11 hours (we fed them, they didn’t ask, and were extremely appreciative). Phil the owner came out to help with a few issues, this guy knows his stuff, and super cool. I loved the way he treated his employees. Kyle and Justin communicated with us the entire time, I feel like an HVAC expert now! Can’t boast enough about how amazing Brown’s Heating and Cooling is. By far the best service company I’ve worked with around here. Thank you guys. Our house is sooo cool now!

I needed a mini split replaced on my 3rd floor and a new mini split with 2 air handlers added to the first floor. Richard from Brown's did the estimate and surveyed my basement to make sure the copper tubing from the mini split to the air handlers could be connected using my basement. Several weeks later the install team of Justin, Matt, Dylan, Adam, and Jose showed up to do the job. These 5 men were very polite and worked diligently. The first floor install was not easy due to having to navigate the basement and deciding where to drill into the first floor. The guys worked hard and got all of the work done in a week, including coordinating with an electrician.

I would recommend Brown's for your heating and cooling needs. They are very professional, work hard, and have both the expertise and manpower to get the job done.

Timely, informative … They offer a plan to cover A/c system maintenance when the time comes. Have used this service for maintenance on the furnace and A/C in the past. Will continue to use .

Do not use this company! They do very poor work, lie, and tried to sell me a fan motor or furnace to cover up that their work caused the problem.
On November 3rd 2021 I called Brown’s Heating & Cooling out when the fan for our A/C and furnace would not turn on. They said that the problem was that the control panel was bad and so we had them replace it. I called the next day because the fan started to smell like something was burning after running for a few hours, shut off, and would not start up again for another few hours. When the second technician (different from the one that installed it) came out they said that nothing was wrong and that everything was fine in a very rude way. He then suggested that we replace the blower motor and get a new furnace. We declined because this sounded very suspicious since we have everything serviced regularly and our service technician said our unit was fine a few months prior. The problem continued every time we turned the fan on for long periods of time so we simply stopped using this function of our unit. After three months it did the same thing but this time when the fan was on auto. We decided to get a second opinion since Brown’s technician was suggesting replacing the whole furnace. Upon calling a different company, we found that the control panel that Brown’s had installed was visibly fried after only 3 months of use (that was the burning smell). After replacing it again all of the problems with the fan were resolved and we can now use our unit the way we did before Brown’s came out.
According to the technician who fixed Brown's mistake (who also has been servicing our unit for a few years) the control panel wiring was done improperly. Also a 5 amp breaker was used when it should have been a 3 amp, a pressure switch was left dangling, and screws were left in the door tract that cause a corner of the door to be bent when closing.
Seems pretty straight forward, a part was installed improperly, failed after three months, the part was replaced AND wired properly, the problem was resolved. I called Brown’s to discuss a refund and emailed them pictures of the improperly wired control panel both installed and after which clearly show the burnt parts. After trying to give me the run around, asking me why I didn’t call them back to replace my furnace (as if that was ever the problem) they lied to me and told me that the control panel only had a one month warranty and refused to give me the refund. I called the manufacturer and confirmed my suspicion that the part actually had a one year warranty after installation. Now if the part were the problem then it should be no issue for Brown’s to use the manufacturers warranty to get their money back. I suspect that they don’t want to go this route since the part is so obviously not the problem, nor is my unit since it is running perfectly now. That leaves only one factor, the installation.

Tried to work with Meyers on a system replacement bid, but found their pricing to be both very high and dishonest. While today’s rebate climate and pricing on heat pumps is all over the map, their bid was a solid $10k more than multiple competitors, even after being riddled with scammy ‘discounts’. I was repeatedly promised they would price match apples-to-apples competing bids, which they were apparently lying about after being $10k more than an identical system! I felt there were attempting to gaslight through continually and proudly claiming a “price match guarantee” even as I looked at disputing hard numbers in the contract. They finally admit they can’t, but being upfront would’ve wasted much less of both our time.

Unless you like corporate service companies with huge overheads and dancing aroundI suggest using a local mom and pop shop.

Outstanding service, they have helped me with my furnace and ac fix and eventually my furnace replacement. Their technicians went above and beyond fixing other small items that they noticed and weren’t under contract for but addressed anyway after inquiring.

About a year ago I hired them to upgrade my furnace and install a new air conditioner where there wasn't one previously. A few weeks later the furnace stopped working and a horrible smell started coming from the vents in the house around 9pm. It was late fall in Colorado, so not having a furnace was a big deal. They sent out a tech the same night who diagnosed and brought out the part the next day and installed, all under warranty. Haven't had any problems since. Very happy with the whole experience. Love having AC this summer.

we had an excellent experience with our lochinvar hvac system. if you need assistance, i would recommend asking for brett. he was the only technician who could help us in colorado springs. we had spent a considerable amount of money trying to understand why our system was malfunctioning. however, within less than two hours, brett had our hvac system up and running again. incredible service!

it's cool how they sent me both an email and a text before Brett, the technician, showed up. They even included a photo of Brett which helped me verify who was coming to check our hvac system. Brett was gentle, composed, considerate, and patient in listening to my concerns and he meticulously inspected our hvac unit. He figured out what was wrong with our hvac system and now we can finally enjoy some warmth instead of chilly air. i really value him. The call center was also good. The representative was very quick to respond and tried to arrange the soonest possible appointment for me. It's nice to back local businesses in Colorado Springs too. I'll definitely reach out to them for future hvac related issues!

i have a service agreement with champion heating & cooling for the exceptional ac system they installed two years ago when i upgraded from an outdated system to a more efficient one. they're consistently punctual, courteous, proficient, and informed. they conducted a pre-season check-up on my ac system as well as my central heating system. today, brett, one of their remarkable service professionals, made a modification to the computer on my ac system. he worked tirelessly and solved the problem. i'm thrilled to have them as my service contractors. a year has gone by, and they continue to deliver excellent, timely service. i'm satisfied to have a contract with them here in colorado springs.

Brett from the ac repair team was extraordinary! He didn't cease until he had the ac repairs completed. We had several ac issues that took up the entire day. I suggested to Brett that he could call it a day, but he persisted and finished the job. He kept me updated throughout the day about unexpected issues and the cost for ac repair.
