Great service all around. Cut down our 60 ft Cottonwood that was causing alot of issues of 3 of our neighbors. Had to take down 2 sections of fence to grind the stump. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!

We selected Black Bear Tree Care to service our Blue Spruce and several Silver Maples after getting quotes from three other companies. Black Bear was reasonably priced, but more importantly, we wanted an arborist—someone who understood what the trees needed to be healthy, rather than “yahoos” who just liked to climb trees and play with chainsaws. Black Bear was the most knowledgeable of the companies we contacted, always willing to answer our questions, and gave thorough, satisfying responses. They were also kind to our toddler and cleaned up all the branches, leaving the property looking much better than before. We plan to use Ryan and the guys from Black Bear again in the future.

On the date of service, they were prompt, listened to and valued all of our requests, and the completed job was exactly what we'd expect from a high quality operation. When Ryan gave us an estimate on our large maple tree, I was impressed by his knowledge and care. He explained exactly what he would do to make our tree look nice, without accidentally taking too much off and killing it. When the crew came out to trim the tree, Ryan also came! The ~5 person crew was so efficient, each person had a job. They did a ton of work in just under an hour! They cleaned up everything well. I feel so happy, like my favorite tree just got the best hair cut of its life!

Ryan and his crew did a fantastic job removing a huge Elm tree. They were very professional and cut and lowered each branch with precision. The area was raked clean and left it in pristine condition. I highly recommend this crew and would use them again and again. Also, their price was very reasonable . You will not be disappointed in using Black Bear tree care.

Very professional, fast cutting tree guys. We even quoted to do our stump too**. Ryan, Noah, Chris and Kyle were the guys that helped us today. Our tree was hanging over the house, (extremely heavy, old tree) and they got it down in less than half a day.
I have to thank the guys at Black Bear Tree Care for being awesome at their job and customer service too! We chatted while they took a few short breaks.
I also want to say dannnnggggg was it hot outside today. They took this tree down in FULL sun, my front yard gets sun ALL day long. Thank you guys!

Had a couple older large trees that needed trimming in our front yard and got a cold call and figured I’d take a free quote. These guys were awesome. We got a better deal for what we paid from the last company we used and they were efficient and clean. Appreciate the work guys! You crushed it!

I had a large part of a neighbors tree trimmed off my side of the property. The neighbors have never taken care of it and would eventually damage quite a bit of my property as well as take out the power if it fell. Ryan and his crew did an excellent job. They also trimmed new growth off another tree of the neighbors that I had previously done several years ago.

Your team decided it was ok to block my drive and my car with your tree shredder. They should have blocked the driveway of the service address! I don’t appreciate the lack of sense and courtesy that they displayed. I know that you likely won’t do a thing about it but I decided to post in case anyone there had a shred of decency.

I do not appreciate the businesses response. I stepped out of my door and one of the men stopped and basically stared me down…that did not give me the feeling that he would be receptive of my request had I made one. The other issue with the response is that it didn’t matter how long you were blocking my drive, this review wouldn’t have happened had my car not been blocked at all. They clearly knew they were blocking the car but I digress.

Black Bear Tree Care did an outstanding job pruning and trimming four trees for me. They are extremely knowledgable regarding what should be done for the health of the tree and for appearance. This is the second time I have been pleased with work that they have done and plan to use them every year to ensure the health and appearance of my trees.

Ryan was very nice to work with. Needed to get some trees trimmed at my daughter's house. He went and looked gave me a very reasonable estimate. We scheduled a time and did very good work. I would highly recommend him again.

Ryan and his crew did a phenomenal job on my massive willow trees—truly some of the largest in Colorado Springs. He arrived with a well-coordinated team and top-notch equipment, and from the moment they started, their professionalism stood out. Watching them skillfully rappel through the upper canopy to reach difficult limbs was remarkable. The project took two full days, and their focus, courtesy, and work ethic never wavered. Black Bear Tree Care removed a dangerous tree from my yard. Within 24 hours of noticing my tree was about to cave in on my 12x16 gazebo on my back deck, I contacted Black Bear, they had Mike call me and come to my residence for an estimate that afternoon, Mike was straight forward with the quote.
