Mr. Stump Tree Service is amazing! The receptionist Pam was so friendly and gracious with making a new appointment, after the first two were canceled due to strong winds and later, a snowstorm. But Pam persisted and got me back on the schedule in a timely manner. When the gentlemen arrived on the windy day, they waited awhile to see if the wind would die down, shared a great conversation with me, and reassured me they'd be back soon to get the job done. Monday was that day! They arrived very enthusiastic to complete the large job--they cut down a huge sixty-year-old maple tree and did an extensive trim of the other maple, carefully avoiding electric lines. They were so kind and friendly and their expertise was readily apparent. When I told them I'd said goodby to the old tree on Sunday, they even made me a small table from the stump for my patio! Their skill and safety measures were so impressive, and they thoroughly and cleaned up my backyard beautifully. I will wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Stump Tree Service to all my neighbors and friends. They're hard-working and wonderful men!

Walt and his crew did an amazing job and were fast! Within fifteen minutes my dead tree was cut down, cut up, ground up and cleaned up, along with two other tree stumps. And they were an their way. Great experience! From the time we first called, everything went absolutely great! We had to remove one tree and clean up the other one. Walt and his team did an amazing job! They were professional, explained everything, cleaned up every bit of the debris and were really nice! I will use them every time we need help with our trees! Walt's mom answers the phone and she is super sweet!

Walt and his crew are true professionals! They removed a 40 year old dying elm from my yard with ease from their many years experience. Also the cleanup job was top notch! My yard has never looked so good!

These guys are AWESOME. Had a previous contractor chicken out on us after startng a job, Mr. Stump came out and cut our dead 40 ft tall elm down in less than 30 minutes and for an amazing deal. Great service. Wish I had another dead tree just to give them another job. 10 out of 10.

They performed the work in an efficient and timely manner. The clean up was well done and they left us the stumps we requested to use around our fire pit. The price was right and I will use them again if needed.

It’s been a few weeks out unfortunately my tree was way aggressively trimmed and is experiencing shock with lots of branches falling off and dying. I’ve thrown about two trash cans away of branches since then.

Mr.stump came in and did the job right. I had a dead cotton wood tree about 50-60 feet tall that I tried to get quoted to get cut down by 3 other tree companies. I was told it wasn’t possible because of the amount of rot. Mr.stumps crew took care of it within 3 hours. Highly recommend these professionals.

Walt and his crew was here in Monument on July 8th, doing some much needed fire mitigation of at least a dozen Huge, dead, scrub oak on my property by Mt Herman. It was a BIG job! Not only did they complete it in a timely manner, less than a day, chip all limbs, and dead removed, but did full clean up! They were polite, aimed to please, personable, hard-working, and have always been professional in all areas! Mr. Stump Tree Service has been my company of choice for over 40 years, and it's wonderful to see the dedication to customer satisfaction, and pride in their work continue. After another crazy spring storm, we were forced to mitigate our ancient ponderosa. My landscaper actually referred me to Mr. Stump, and I could not be more grateful. Walt and his crew (Mike and Elliot) were fantastic. His Mom answered the phone to schedule— love that family vibe through and through!

Mr Stump was fantastic. The estimate process was quick and efficient for our two large ash trees. They were booked for the service out about two weeks - and the team was quick to get the trees trimmed on service day! We still have a spruce that needs trimmed and he recommended we wait until winter - honest work! Pricing extremely fair!

Mr Stump and his crew showed up on time, went right to work on Spruce trimming, upright Cedar hedge removal for fire mitigation, and stump removal for about ten stumps. His crew chipped all the waste and did an excellent job cleaning up. This was all done at a very reasonable rate in December. Needless to say l’m very satisfied that I hired Mr Stump. I mostly dealt with Pam, and she’s a lovely woman. We ran into some issues with scheduling, but Walt made up for it by showing up nearly two days after the mix up. They’re quick and effective once the job takes place. No complaints from me

We used Mr. Stump Tree Service from a recommendation by a friend who used them and said they did the same from a neighbors recommendation. We were impressed by the owner who came out to see what we wanted and gave us a quote that was very reasonable.
When they arrived on the day Walt , the owner, said they would they went right to work removing a 50+ ft. tree we were going to loose if we got more high winds.
His crew was very courteous and each knew exactly what to do and did it in a very expedited way. It was fun to watch the way they worked and interacted together, very professional. I couldn't believe how fast they removed our tree. When they were through they cleaned the yard up better than when they started, including the roof and gutters. Very impressive. I couldn't give Walt and his crew a better recommendation than a 5* plus and will recommend them to all my friends and anyone who needs a tree removed. Thank you Mr. Stump Tree Service. We couldn’t be more impressed with this crew. They removed two dying trees for us, including a massive one with sprawling roots, and handled the project with skill, professionalism, and complete respect for our property. Everything was cleaned up beautifully, and they even went out of their way to make a little stool from one of the trees for our 4-year-old, who had been sad to see it go. That thoughtful gesture meant so much and showed the pride they take in their work. Amazing results, wonderful people, and fairly priced. We couldn’t be happier—highly recommend!
