Constraction reviews in Denver, Colorado

Jacob and his team did a great job on our house! They were very efficient and the final product looked fantastic. Illusion of Kolors also beat others on price. Overall great services!

Great experience with Jacob and Jose from Illusion of Kolor. Painted the exterior of our 2-story house, and completed the job quickly and at a very fair price. They communicated well throughout to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Will use again for any future painting jobs.

I have an exterior concrete wall with a brick pattern embossed upon it.

Jacob was very helpful in suggesting colors and ways to paint the wall from concrete-grey to a more natural looking blonde-brick color.

Very professional and friendly. Very helpful with color choices. Crew showed up on time and did very good work.

The crew did a great job in bringing our curved staircase into the modern era, sanding down the yellow oak and then priming and painting the banisters a beautiful dark, matte grey. They were clean and considerate of their workplace in our home, finished on time and on budget. I recently noticed a couple of places that required touch up and the owner came out within two days to fix that for me. Highly recommend!

Illusion of Kolors is awesome! They've been in business for a long time and do fantastic work. The owner is also really friendly and reliable. Definitely go with this company if you need your house painted!

Jacob and his team are hands down the best we have dealt with when it comes to painting needs. They have done several jobs for us at our home both large and small and each time we are blown away with how meticulous a job they do. Nice people that work extremely hard, they are great!

I cannot say enough about Jacob (Illusions of Kolor) and his crew leader, Jose. Jacob came to my house and gave me a bid (on Saturday)to paint my house and other projects. The bid was was EXTREMELY competitive and fair. His crew came on time and were VERY respectful of my property and payed special attention to my concerns. They did a fabulous job on painting my house including the entry and back door. I plan on using Illusions of Kolor for other jobs I have around the house. As many of you are skeptical of contractors, this company was exactly what I had hoped for. Thank you Illusions of Kolor and I look forward to working with you in the future!!

Great experience! I received 3 bids for our exterior painting work. Of the 3, Jacob was the most reasonably priced, straightforward and knowledgable by far. Sabien was the painter and he did a phenomanal job, with great attention to detail. He showed up promptly every day. We have had a lot of contractors since buying this house and sadly, timeliness and consistency is not the norm. I would definitely have them back for other projects or recommend them to others.

Jacob was professional and very prompt with communication. His team was kind, respectful, clean and did a very good job painting the exterior of my house. It was a large job that I was nervous about, and I'm happy to say that I'm very pleased with the outcome. It looks great. Thanks Jacob and Team!

I had the pleasure of working with Jacob on two occasions and he is always prompt , detailed and very helpful . Illusion of Kolors is a great company to work with. I would recommend this company for all your painting needs big or small.

Jacob is a pleasure to deal with - prompt, courteous, great eye for color and detail oriented. His pricing is fair, and he stayed very flexible during a hectic move for us. We love our “new” house color, and lots of compliments from picky neighbors. Highly recommend!

Jake is easy to work with. He makes sure that you're 100% satisfied by taking his time during the walk-through process to identify any issues that need to be resolved - he doesn't rush you through this part which I've experienced some contractors do. I think we did at least 3-4 walk-throughs just to make sure everything is as we want it to be and he had no issues having his painters stay to fix the issues. I had him paint my interior a few months back and they did such a great job that I just hired him for our exterior that he just finished. My only suggestion for Jake is to check-in daily by phone and do a mid-project site visit to make sure that the work that has already been completed is up to expectation. It might save some time at the end with the touch-ups. However, I have no doubt if you requested that frequency of communication that he would do it. He's very accommodating to your needs. Also positive about him is that he has a real eye for imperfections so he'll catch things that you might not. I recommend him to anyone looking for a good painter and will likely hire him again to do some additional projects.

Jacob and his team were reasonably priced, responded and provided an estimate quickly, easy to work with. I also needed some wood repairs in addition to painting, his carpenter is a nice guy and completed the job well. I chose Duration for the paint and so far it looks pretty good!

We hired Illusion of Kolors to paint our office building, remove a bunch of very difficult to remove vinyl material that was plastered on the building and metal bars covering the windows. I am so happy to say bye to the horrid pea green paint job and ridiculous vinyl junk that was plastered on the building before. The building looks very nice and respectable now with the new paint. It's like night and day. They did a great job.

I was referred to Jacob with Illusion of Kolors by my best friend, who had hired him to paint a few bedrooms in her home. She raved about them, so I decided to hire them as well. I was just as happy with Jacob and his team as she was. They beat out two other companies on quotes, and turned my job around sooo fast. (I got a quote on Tuesday, everything was finished that Friday.) They were professional, courteous, and very tidy. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves, which is super important to a busy working mom :) Love the new paint!! Great job!

Jake and his crew just finished an 18 foot high ceiling and living room for a town house in Westminster that I manage for the owner. The work was fair priced, high quality materials, on time, and excellent clean-up. If you have any paint you are considering- call these guys first and you won't need another bid. Save some time and go with the best the first time around.

Great customer service! I made appointments with several painters and Jake was the only one that was able to meet me on the weekend. We picked our colors and his crew was there a few days later to powerwash! We were fortunate that the Colorado weather cooperated. The house was completed by the following weekend! The crew was miticulous and paid attention to our particular requests. Overall I would recommend Illusion of Kolors to anyone! So happy!!!

If you are looking for painting to be done in your home, at a good rate, this is who you want to choose. Jake and the crew he had for my basement and back porch recently did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Illusion of Kolors and will definitely call them again if I need any work done in the future.

Jacob and his crew are amazing. They painted the exterior of our house and we are so pleased. The price was right, great communication throughout the process, very polite, and the attention to detail was great. Highly recommend!

Jacob and his crew did a great job. I had about 80% of the interior of my house painted and they did it in one day when other companies said it could take up to 3 days. The crew was professional and attentive. My only complaint was they forgot to hook back up the dryer vent.

Illusion of Kolors did a fantastic job painting my entire house!. I had Jake (owner) and his assistant pain my ceilings, walls, doors and baseboards. Additionally, Jake was able to correctly patch, sand and texturize a ton of holes from a previous insulation installation project that were repaired in a slap-dash manner. They took care to cover the walls with plenty of coats (my office took 4 coats!) and the last day was spent on detail work. My house is transformed! Plus Illusion of Kolors did the project on time and on budget (which was very reasonable). I highly recommend!!
