Electrical reviews in Denver, Colorado

I have been contacted by Blue Raven multiple times. I politely asked to be removed from their call list after informing them that I had solar panels installed. The calls continued. I called their 800 number and spoke to a manager, they stated they would get it taken care of. Today, another call. Now it is time to go this route. I will also be reporting them to the FCC for unsolicited calls since I have repeatedly asked to be removed from their call list.

Blue Raven has been reliable, communicative, and pleasant to work with. They do not sub out any of their work, so there are no gaps in their ability to move between phases of design through installation. Craftsmanship has been top notch with a clean looking finished product.

There's no zero stars available. Probably the worst customer service department of any business I've ever worked with. Our panels stopped working when we were out of town and they charged us $350 to come out and flip the breaker. No trouble shooting or anything prior to sending a truck. Non responsive after several emails and was told a supervisor would call me back and that never happened. Still waiting to hear from someone after three weeks.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Blue Raven Solar. Their team did a poor job installing panels on my concrete tile roof, and the quality of the work left much to be desired.
I expected a professional installation, especially from a company that claims to specialize in residential solar solutions. Unfortunately, their crew seemed rushed and unprepared for working with concrete tile, leading to unnecessary damage and future repair costs on my end.
Overall, I cannot recommend Blue Raven Solar to anyone with a tile roof unless they drastically improve their training, professionalism, and post-installation support. -
I started my journey with Blue Raven Solar in May 2024, and while the sales process with Pat was fantastic—he was knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive—the experience completely fell apart once the project left his hands.
Communication has been abysmal throughout the entire process. I had to constantly follow up to get answers, and when I did, I was often told someone would get back to me, only for no one to follow through. Service technicians frequently showed up unprepared, unannounced, or didn’t show up at all, despite arrangements being made for me to be home. The disregard for my time was both frustrating and disrespectful.
When the project finally reached the inspection stage, it failed. How does work done by supposed professionals fail inspection? Resolving this took far longer than it should have, involving multiple contractors and what felt like a “band-aid” fix to get it to pass. I was not satisfied with the solution, but I had no choice but to move forward. It wasn’t until the end of November—six months after starting this process—that I could finally turn my solar panels on.
Adding to my frustration, Blue Raven Solar failed to honor the contract stating they would cover the first 19 loan payments. I only discovered this after I had to call to ask why payments hadn’t been made. I was then told the company had been bought out and was aware of payment delays but failed to notify me in advance. This lack of transparency and accountability is completely unacceptable.
As of today, I am still waiting for a resolution regarding the loan payments. Despite assurances from a representative named Crystal on January 10th that she would follow up, I’ve heard nothing further.
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company. I deeply regret choosing Blue Raven Solar and wish I could return the equipment and walk away. If you’re considering going solar, I strongly advise looking elsewhere to avoid the stress, wasted time, and poor service I’ve endured. -
Arrived on time and installation was flawless. Explained all details upon completion and removed all debris. Excellent job. It will be about 2 months to deal with county and power company. Can't wait to turn on and start saving money!!! The process from start to finish was so much easier than I expected. I highly recommend Blue Raven Solar for your solar project!!!

These people are absolute criminals. They have called me a minimum of once a month since I bought my house and every single time they call I cannot be more clear that I'm NOT interested in solar, and they just wont leave me alone. I tried being polite at first, but their salesmen literally go so far as to SHOUT over me on the phone if I say something they don't want to hear. I've tried blocking their number but they just call me from different numbers. I've tried asking for a manager and the salesman on the phone assures me that they ARE the manager, as if a manager would be in a call center, and they absolutely refuse to connect me with their supervisor. Its becoming borderline criminal at this point. I've never once given them the impression that I want their product and yet they simply will not leave me alone. Even if I somehow changed my mind tomorrow, their overly aggressive tactics and rude conduct has convinced me that these are the last people I would ever want to get solar panels from. I ardently pray for their imminent bankruptcy and dissolution as a company so I can stop getting calls from these crooks.

Great folks all the way around. Very professional and nice. The only feed back I had was there was quite a bit of small trash that was left which I did not see until then wind started blowing. Other than that I would definitely refer Blue Raven

My experience with Blue Raven has been excellent. Todd Daniels (the rep I first spoke with) was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions about the various benefits and tradeoffs of solar, and I never got the sense I was being upsold on things I didn't need. The price of the system seemed reasonable and generally competitive with other quotes I got -- while maybe slightly more expensive than other offers, the warranty and panel lifetime guarantees from the panel manufacturer were notably superior to what I found at other providers, which was worth it to me. My experience with the installation process was also very smooth; Blue Raven helped me when I needed to reschedule the install a couple times with no hassle, and when the install did happen, the crew completed the job quickly and professionally. Finally, once the install was complete, Blue Raven helped get all the necessary city and utility inspections and approvals scheduled very quickly, so I was able to activate the new system within just a couple weeks of the install -- the total process from when I first spoke to someone and turning the system on was only 2 months.
Thanks for a great experience! -
After much research, we finally decided on Blue Raven Solar. Their salesman was personable and straight to the point helping me recognize the return on investment going solar. Their installers and electrician were prompt professional and courteous. 1 day install. Looks awesome! Go Blue Raven now there’s no reason to wait. Thank you Blue Raven.

Update: Blue Raven did issue a check for the balance of the refund after posting this review. Updated to 4 stars as the install and equipment was good.
My Enphase system is working fine so far, so this review is not about the hardware. Blue Raven installed it well, and has been communicative.
The core of my issue is with how they have handled financing. Per their suggestion i paid them my Tax refund, and now they send me a check for $35 a month, rather than reducing my payment. This seems shady as it gets, and i have asked repeatedly to either lower my monthly payment instead of sending me a check, or apply the tax credit directly to my principle. Despite several times asking they have continually gave excuses too why, and it seems like there is something very sketchy going on with how they are handling the loan.
Additionally they work with Good Leap who is THE WORST loan agency i have ever worked with, and if i knew my loan would be transferred to them i would have never agreed to work with blue raven.
BEWARE of what they do with your loan, it -
This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I setup the original meeting with Blue Raven but they kept reaching out to my wife instead of me. The day that we finally got scheduled the man went to the wrong house and never called or tried coming to the correct house. Then, he shows up on a different day when I was working from home and was insistent that we meet then and there. I told him I had 15 minutes and he said he needed 45 for the pitch. Even after this I had them send someone to check the house to setup the installation. The man that came, left black hand prints all over my brand new houses paint and left without saying anything. I then cancelled everything with this company. The other day the same sales man that came to the door originally came back even though I had a no soliciting sign up. I told him my complaints and instead of apologize he justified the man that left hand marks all over my ceiling. This kid also walked through mud and left mud all over my porch the first time he came. I would never hire these people.

UPDATE 3/20/23:
Still no word from Blue Raven. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. If anything goes wrong with your system or install, they will take your money and ghost you.
UPDATE 2/27/23:
Ten months from our signing of the contract and we still don't have functioning panels - and virtually NO communication from Blue Raven. The damage they caused to our ceiling has now expanded into a ~2 foot crack...
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Working with Blue Raven Solar has been a nightmare...literally, every day we have had a new issue. I have a hole in my ceiling and damage to my roof (pieces of shingles were all over our backyard). The installers left trash all over our yards (front and back) and insulation all over my daughter's bedroom. We had our inspection rescheduled twice because they kept scheduling the wrong type of inspection (how does that happen twice?). We finally had the inspection today and found out we failed because they installed the electrical incorrectly. They also installed the electrical lines directly down the back center of my house due to pure laziness and it looks absolutely horrible - to the point neighbors have called it out and asked why they did that. The Support team has been incredibly unprofessional by offering no apologies for all the inconvenience and trouble their team has caused. The last two times I called, I could barely hear the agent as the background noise of other agents laughing was so loud. On top of it all, we found out we were charged much more for our panels than our neighbors despite having less panels. We feel ripped off and deceived... and who knows how much longer we will have to wait till we can actually use our system. -
Last week I called our rep since it's been several weeks after installation and our system has not been cleared for operation. Here's a copy of the text received as an answer: "We do need to have someone come out to do some specific utility requirement updates. I didn't realize the person I asked to follow up on this was out the last couple of days, but the dept manager said he should be able to get this scheduled sometime this weekend."
Needless to say, no call over the weekend. I text our rep again today, Monday. No answer. I call and I'm sent to voicemail. I'm afraid I've been taken advantage of. We'll see what the next couple of days are like. So far I'm very disappointed with the lack of follow up and communication.
To make matters worse, I go to the BBB website and find out their accreditation has been taken off. What a nightmare!
Update : 10/28/25 I called their customer service line again. Now they tell me the junction box needs a new decal and they can't tell me when they're going to get it. 😒 -
The solar panel roof installation and initial wiring was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption in daily activities. The electrical installation has just been completed and went well, requiring the power to be off for 5 hrs. Using a battery backup for critical electronics and appliances made the process smooth. The electrical had to be rescheduled due to a conflict with the electrician, but this was not under Blue Raven's control. Waiting for final inspection and approval by the city utility department to flip the switch and begin using the system.

This company sucks!!!! If I could leave no stars I would! They suck at communication, their timeframes are way off. They quoted an amount, we signed a contract with said amount listed and a certain timeframe. Oh wait no, it will be more so we need more money and a new contract. No! I started this whole process almost 2 YEARS AGO! I still have not been able to use the solar, it’s not hooked up. I told them to come take it back, nope, it’s installed you have to pay. DON’T USE BLUE RAVEN!!!!!!!
-
The first installation was quick and efficient on Sep 3, 2025, but they found that the panels need additional attachments for inspection. It is not addressed yet now (Dec 8, 2025, over 3 months). The company seems not proactive on our project and probably accepted cases more than they can handle.
-
Was fairly happy with my system until this spring when my panels suddenly stopped generating. Blue Raven wanted $500 just to come take a look since our solar is 3.5 years old and outside of the 2 year warranty period. I've had a third party come out and inspect and they advised me that the tie in boxes for the Enphase converters probably weren't properly sealed which allowed moisture into them. I've shared these findings with Blue Raven over a month ago and have yet to get any resolution. I believe this issue would fall under the longer workmanship warranty for our system. So 1 star it is until I hear back from them.

I can't express enough how much you should find a different solar power company than Sun Power or any of its affiliates like Blue Raven Solar. They will make financial promise they will not keep. They will offer you deals they will not honor. Their accounting team a will ignore your emails and calls. There's a reason why they lost their BBB rating. IF you're going solar find another installer and save yourself the heart ache.
-
I wish I did more research before agreeing to have this company install my solar system. After installation, they failed to properly install flashing and now inspection is delayed. Customer service is friendly but very unhelpful. I have not been contacted for resolution as promised. Extremely frustrating and has very poor follow through and poor customer service. I’m very concerned about how well this system will perform and how much support I will get in the future.

Overall experience has been really good, the solar consultant we worked with, Chase has been very helpful in answering all our questions, very knowledgeable, the follow-ups have been very prompt, and honest. The Electrician and the installation team did an excellent job, on time and finished installing in the given time window, highly recommend their service.
