Watch out for these guys. One of their guys in Castle Rock blew through a stop sign and came within a foot of hitting a runner in a crosswalk.

Building isn't opened yet. Just had to deliver some cookies here for a conference. It didn't show up on my GPS as an actual building for some reason.

Caught them driving an overloaded truck down I-25 South spilling tarps all over the highway without stopping. The debris stretched for over 4 miles! I would never use such an irresponsible construction company if given the choice.

Howell Construction is such a great company! They excel as leaders in the construction industry in Colorado. From the moment you walk in their doors, you can tell everyone that works there absolutely loves their job and genuinely cares about their co-workers and clients. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking construction solutions in the following verticals: Advanced Industries, Health Care, Corporate Interiors, and General Commercial.

Brady's crew was great to work with. excavated and back filled quickly. left the site fine graded and ready for sod.

I have used Van Matre Construction several times in the past. They are highly professional and can handle complicated projects that most construction companies shy away from. I would highly recommend them!

I had issues with my main fire line leaking in multiple places. got a hold of Van Marte and they ran with it. Very professional and know what they are doing. I had such a good experience I ended up having them take care of a mud jacking job as well to backfill the foundation. Great work and they were able to start month ahead of their competition. Thanks Brady and THE tEAM!

Tim came out and looked at a crack in our foundation. He was honest with us that we weren't really in need of an extensive repair at this time, and told us how he would address the issue if it were his own home. We felt as if we were getting advice from someone who truly cared in a situation where other companies might take advantage. I would highly recommend this company, you will get an opinion you can trust. We will be reaching out to them if anything comes up in the future.

Van Matre did an awesome job with my foundation repair and masonry work. They were professional, communicative, and fairly priced. When an unexpected problem came up in the repairs, they handled it very well and didn’t charge me anything extra to fix it. They did truly exceptional work and i would highly recommend them.

I live in Lakewood, and about a year and a half ago we experienced a bit of moisture around the edge of the basement that prohibited us from remodeling down there. I found Van Matre by accident, and they charged me somewhere around $18,000 to install a drainage system around the back of my house to catch water before it got into the house. This year because of the heavy rains and flooding, we ended up with several inches of water in the basement after the remodel. The outside drain that was installed did not work as planned. As you can imagine, I was very upset. Lance, his crew, and even Brady, the owner of Van Matre came out to assess the damages. They, unlike most other companies I've ever dealt with, admitted they mis-calculated were the water was coming from, and ultimately came in and built a system all the way around the inside of my basement, beneath the floor with a sump pump that routes any water trying to come up from the floor out to my street, and at NO COST to me. I'm pretty sure this new system would have cost much more than the first one. In this day and age, any company that takes care of their customers like Van Matre should be praised for their honesty, integrity, and quality of workmanship. I highly recommend using them for any type of foundation problem you may be having, because they truly do care, and will take ownership of every situation. Thank you Lance, and all who took part on this project for a job well done!

WOW wish I could give more than 5 stars. We had just an awful time finding a company that does exterior foundation drains. Before Van Matre, we met with 3 companies who would only do interior drains, which did not actually address what we wanted.

Tim came to meet with us yesterday....It is rare that I feel we can totally trust a company, but I have complete trust in Van Matre. Although our house isn't a prime candidate for the drain we were originally planning and it sounds like we need to find an alternate option, Tim spent a lot of time explaining it to us and didn't try to sell us on some fix that wouldn't actually work. I can't recommend this company enough. First company we've talked to that actually seems to understand the importance of keeping water out of the foundation to begin with rather than letting water into the foundation and then mitigating water afterwards.
