Sad to leave this review since I have been going to city floral since I was a kid but this place just isn’t it anymore. Multiple house plants I have bought come infested with fruit flys and gnats.

I just got a beautiful orchid for about 70$ only to take it home and learn that it has an unmanageable mealy bug infestation. Not only a waste of 70$ but it put my other orchids in danger as well. Much better and healthier orchids are located at nicks garden center and also tagawa gardens and fantasy orchids. I’m sure you can also get non infested houseplants there as well.

Yall should do better to control the pests.

Low quality plants and customer service. They sell similar plants to lowes and home depot who both have a 1 year guarantee. No guarantee here at all. Look at the pictures and you will see 2 rose bushes dead that I paid 65 dollars plus tax at city floral. They did not come back after proper care. They are next to 30 dollar home depot roses that are coming back beautifully. The rose of sharon in the corner of the yard cost over 400$ and none of it came back at all. I won't ever subject myself to their high prices and low quality landscaping products again. Hard to support a local company that doesnt stand behind their product.

I Love this place I am a flower and plant fanatic,unfortunately I now live in a apartment where I don’t have outdoor space to grow and plant.City Floral is so spacious and so inviting feels like a complete paradise of plants,flowers,shrubs, trees anything I need to feel special and happy, Thank You City Floral my heaven here on earth.

First time here. Happy with our Christmas tree but in the words of my 12 year old: “They weren’t all that nice.” After spending $200 on a tree they would not let my son have one of the scrap extra cuts off the bottom of the Christmas trees because “we need them for kindling”. lol ok

Next year we may seek out a traditional lot again where it feels a little more personal and friendly.

Alex was so helpful! I wanted to have a plant delivered in Denver and, since I am not local, she was kind and patient enough to text me photos of the plants and pots that she recommended. What a pleasure to deal with!

This is the best nursery I've ever been to. Every time I think I've seen it all, I turn a corner and there's a whole other plant section ready to greet me! I've bought mints, sedum, and a handful of other perennials from here. They even have cut eucalyptus among other cut plants in season. The plant prices may not be the cheapest, but they're still affordable and the quality is top-notch. Non-plant items likes pots are definitely on the pricey side. In terms of pandemic precautions, I feel safe here. All carts are wiped down. There are signs everywhere reminding customers to social distance. This nursery is a nice escape from being cooped up at home.

Maria is absolutely fantastic. She has taken over our sprinkler system from our previous landscaper. He flooded our basement when I was 8 months pregnant so when I asked Maria to blowout our sprinkler system early (because of my flood trauma) she emailed me professionally, showed up, and had it done in 30 minutes. She has accommodated my crazy fear of frozen sprinklers! My yard looks fantastic since moving to city floral. It is lush and she always tells me when we need to fix or change something. I would recommend Maria for all of your yard, plant, garden box, etc needs. Thanks city floral

City Floral is pricey but it’s a serene oasis in the middle of the city. Nice gift shop, and staff who have worked there for years can give advice on what to buy for plant treatment, conditions. I love just being there for a little while.

I had one of the incredible shopping experiences of my life . My son moved to Denver yesterday. I called greenhouse online and received a call back immediately from Sam-it’s Friday & their closing. She volunteers to come in the next day and she FaceTimed
Me - I’m on the east coast me so I could pick out from the most beautiful selection of plants- they have a really nice inventory- we continue to find the most perfect snake plant. - then she goes into into another area to help me pick out the beautiful ceramic pot .INCREDIBLE RIGHT
I thank her so much & to top it off she packed it very nicely & then
DELIVERS it right away. She brought it to his new condo & found the leasing office as my son was running errands and made sure to let him know it was from me. Wow ! Talk about above and beyond - I would give her 1000 stars if I could ! Thank you Sam & greenhouse online for the best service & best shopping experience I’ve ever had in my entire life . WOW ! This is a surprisingly large green house and a bit of maze, but it's beautiful everywhere you look. They have a very large selection of plans, souls, and the team members are very helpful. They even sell little chicks during spring and summer. I will definitely be back.

I cannot believe i've lived in Denver for nearly four years and only JUST found this absolute gem of a garden center today. For those who haven't been bitten by the bug yet, proceed here with caution as your new addiction to houseplants and more lies within.

Selection is nothing like you'd see at big box stores and in addition to variety the quality of these plants is remarkable. Full, lush, healthy plants everywhere you look.Many sizes, shapes and colors. Something for "that spot" you need to fill. Don't even get me started on the collection of pottery they have. Won't find pieces like those anywhere else! Staff was incredibly friendly. Jimmy helped me locate some ornamental grasses I was hunting for and told me when the best time to come back for more after their next delivery.

Can't wait to come back!

Excellent customer service. Had an issue with a pest problem that I didn’t catch in the given 30 day window. Reached out just in case they were able to still help me out (this was my first plant purchase post partum where I struggled with my hobby so I was very sad it wasn’t healthy). Marina and Aspen went above and beyond to make things right and I’m very grateful! They even called me back when our phone call disconnected.
4 stars because of the pest issue in the first place.

This is a nice shop but I wouldn’t recommend their Christmas trees. Over priced and ours lasted a week before it’s dry and brittle. They gave it a fresh cut when we purchased it, we got it home in 30 minutes and put it right into a stand with plenty of water. We paid close attention to the water level and never let it dry out. We have since cut it once more and it is still not absorbing any water. I think the tree must’ve been cut weeks before purchase. We will have to take it out of the house before Christmas since it’s now a 200 dollar fire hazard 🤣

Update - they made it right and replaced our tree. Thank you guys

Be careful when buying houseplants from here. Several friends and myself, have purchased plants with mealy bug and or gnats. Make sure you inspect your plants throughly because they don't do a very good job with pest control.

This place is massive. So many plants. I can spend hours there. It looks so small from the outside but inside it is so big. I went here primarily for houseplants and there were do many. Lots of trailing plants. Lots of Orchid cacti which are my favorite genus They also have so many outdoor plants and fruit trees.

I always enjoy my trips and purchases from City Floral as well as the good advice and friendly assistance from all of the employees. My garden is flourishing, and my visitors, like the one pictured here, approve! (Go through photos until you find my Blue Jay!)

Is the staff nice and friendly? Sure. Other than that this place is completely overhyped. The prices for even the most basic plants is insane. Especially when the last two house plants I’ve purchased here came home with a fungus gnat infestation.

Just take a look at my $75 money tree hanging on for life.. and yes $75 for a 3 ft house plant…

Please try another local nursery before coming here. I personally will never be back.

Waste of money.

Such a cute neighborhood plant and garden shop! I purchased three plants of varying kinds, all for under $100. They packed them up in plastic bags to hold in the humidity and even helped me walk them to my car. The greenhouses are very clean and have such a wide selection of options to choose from. Plus the cats roaming around add such a quaint touch to the place. I will definitely be back for more plants to add to my growing collection!

I recently visited your store for the first time and was absolutely in awe of the beautiful plants and the incredible variety you offer. The selection is truly amazing, and I found myself delighted by the numerous different plants available. The prices were reasonable as well!

However, I did feel that the staff could be a bit more helpful. A little more assistance from the team would have made my experience even better.

Overall, I loved your plant store and will definitely be returning.

Very fair prices on an incredible selection of plants. I saw some really unique ones in there including some variegated plants! It’s a very pleasant location and the staff were all very welcoming. They also have a few full friends to keep and eye out for, the a big foot hiding around as well as 3! cats

This place is a wonderland with a great variety I've seen for any flower or plant, and the most creative gift shop collection that has me returning multiple times a year with friends and family when they're in town. Stop by and adopt a plant friend, it smells amazing in there and you might see the neighborhood cat living it's best life there.
