Amazing job - WELL DONE ALL!
Rafael and his team made happen what others (competitors) couldn't....
I called him in a pitch asking for assistance and he stepped right up in a BIG WAY. Rafael was helpful, friendly, optimistic, sincere & positive about it all, AND delivered exactly what he promised!!!
It was refreshing dealing with a company that still understands customer service & kindness!

The guys did a great job with our retaining wall, worked hard and were efficient!
The only complaint is the owner was poor at communicating. I reached out several times before the project started and didn't get an answer until days later via email.

Rafael and RDS did a great job on my patio installing pavers and artificial grass. The work was amazing. I will use them again on my driveway project.

RDS did a nice job removing ~2,400sft of sod and replacing it with river rock. They showed up on time, did the work as agreed upon and left a clean job site afterwards. They were significantly cheaper than the other bid I received.

I would use them again.

In just 1.5 days, Rafael and his team have transformed my yard. It was literally a huge dirt pit and now, it looks clean and manicured. Not only am I super satisfied with the results, Rafael and his team showed up when they said they would, all for what I think is a great deal on this project. I got three quotes and his was the least expensive for the same amount of work (and again, looks great!)

Highly recommended. Professional and personable with reasonable prices. (Shout out to Gabi who runs the office with aplomb.) I was looking to have some grass seed laid and a little paving. Very happy with their performance.

RDS did an excellent job on time, were very hard working and great to work with. They removed very large spreading evergreens, removed rock wall, resloped the grade, delivered & installed new rock, mulch and edging. All on time and open to our requests. We would definitely use them again.

Tito and his team did a great job on the patio, tore out the old broken concrete slab and put in a new paver patio with steps in 48hrs, very happy with their work and would recommend them.

I hired Rafael and his team at RDS to repair some flagstone and brickwork after a foundation repair. Rafael was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the process. He provided a thorough and competitive quote, and when I was ready to start work he mobilized a team the next day. His team worked two 10 hour days on a Friday and Saturday and completed the job on time and within budget. The work is high quality as well. I recommend them.

RDS was amazing, they did a paver patio for us last fall and it turned out great. I had called three different companies, with RDS offering a much lower price than the other companies. Very responsive throughout the process. Highly recommend.

BEWARE! Rafael and RDS Hardscape are THE WORST! I never write negative reviews, but RDS Hardscape earned it and I don't want anyone having a similar--and dangerous--experience. RDS installed landscape lighting and overloaded the transformer, which then melted (see photo, luckily my home did not catch on fire). Now, all my landscape lighting is non-functional. I called RDS to tell them the issue, and after that, they blocked my number and did not respond to texts despite promising to do so.

I am super happy with the work. I would highly recommend Rafael and his crew. Outstanding work. Professionally done. On time, and on budget. Great job guys!+

BEWARE! Attention to details and ability to plan/estimate are very poor.

I hired RDS for the first phase of a multi-phase backyard landscape project and the team failed to put any quality into this project. Before the start, met with Rafael, the owner, provided plans with dimensions and design.

His team showed up, never had seen the plan, and brought materials for a different build out. Walked the team through the 4 garden bed layout.

Then the re-quoting began. Rafael quoted without reviewing his notes from the onsite meeting or the plans provided to him.

Project was to build 4 raised garden beds (4ftx8ft) in a section of lawn. Failures included:
- Didn't remove any of the lawn where the raised beds would be.
- Didn't put in the middle support beam in each bed as identified in the plan.
- The bed toppers don't square up or align to each other at all and the toppers/beds aren't all level. Gaps between topper boards.
- Team didn't even screw in all of the screws used in the bed. Random screws sticking out half inch to 1.5 in from the wood
- Project included putting in a drip system and tying into existing sprinkler system. They put in 2 single drippers per bed, obviously 2 drippers cannot water a 4ft x 8ft bed.

Overall, the quality is very poor. When I texted Rafael and sent him pictures of the poor work, he acknowledged but had no interest in correcting the work.

I also emailed him with an expanded list of issues. He complained about having to pay his team overtime (Never requested by me, just poor management by RDS). He then never responded to the followup or had any interest in correcting the work quality.

Overall, would not use this vendor going forward since there is no interest in quality work, customer service or honoring negotiated price.

The team did a beautiful job and worked so hard on this project. Tito was wonderful! It was a big project that took five days to complete. Clean-up was terrific. I will definitely consider RDS for future projects.

Rafael and his team did an excellent job repairing our stacked stone walls and additional landscape work. They were on-time, on-budget and a very friendly group of guys. I would use them again and would recommend them.

The job was completed quickly and mostly to our satisfaction. Two small areas that could be improved (1) it is professional to do a walk-through after job completion. This wasn't done. Instead we received a text message bill the morning after the job was completed. (2) one area of the work wasn't done to my satisfaction. Rather than work with us politely, the manager argued. Again, this isn't professional. It would have been much better to work together to resolve the problem.
However, I was impressed with the workers. Hard-working!

I am so happy with my flagstone walkway I am hiring RDS to add a small patio. Workers arrived right on time and were very polite and professional. Definitely recommend. Stand by for phase II!

Second time I've hired Rafael and his team. They do great work, always a pleasure to work with.
