We did an exhaustive, detailed search of landscaping companies in the Denver-Boulder-Longmont area. We narrowed our list to 10 companies and interviewed 4 companies on our property before we selected Lifescape Colorado. Our project involved completely removing all that was remaining from the landscaping that existed when we bought the property and starting from scratch to design and install a landscape plan. We specifically wanted a company that also provides ongoing maintenance. Lifescape Colorado has exceeded our expectations in every phase of the project. Designer Frank Pendrell worked with us to develop a creative, innovative design combining plants and hardscape that is rich and beautiful, but also conserves water. Brian Holmes and his installation team worked exceptionally hard every moment they were on the property. Every person at Lifescape with whom we interacted said what they would do and did what they said. Not only did they do a great job, they were communicative and fun to work with. We wanted a beautiful view from every window. Dan's design, our Lifescape archiect, was beyond our expectations. Yes it's an over used phrase, but very true for us. In fact a year later Dan was acknowledged and won national recognition!
They are extremely reliable, respectful and responsible. My r, words, are demonstrated by the team every week. This is the most professional group of dedicated and hard working people I can recommend.

We used Lifescape two years ago, and did not last year. We cannot express how happy we are to have them back! Their service and responsiveness are fantastic, and they were able to complete several projects for us in a tight timeframe. Our yard looks so beautiful and our project manager, Damien, has been more than delightful to work with. Lifescape does it right!

Prompt service, inflated charges. I was charged FIVE times as much as other landscape service companies and the charges were shown as line items: Service trip $65.66, Compressor fee $90.00, Labor $80.74. In other words, coming to do the job is extra. They must not have their own compressor or gouged me for the depreciation, and I was charged for the actual job. Never again!

We had a great experience with Lifescape. Dan DeGrush designed our landscape a little over 3 years ago and it is looking beautiful. We also had Lifescape add a few trees and put pavers on our front steps/entry since then. Everything was done with high quality and looks great. I would highly recommend Lifescape for your landscaping needs!

TL;DR: Paid $2,500 for a landscape design, but the design violates Denver code and the designer left halfway through the project.

Background: I spent a lot of time documenting my goals and vision for the project. I was hoping Lifescape Colorado could help iron out the details and put a professional spin on the work.

The first draft felt like they didn't fully listen to my project goals during the walkthrough. Second draft was closer, but they still missed multiple key elements that were explicitly requested.

Then, I get an email from the designer that they're leaving the company and would connect me with someone new. The new person came out for a walkthrough and quickly identified multiple issues with the current plan ("No, a sauna can't go there because it's in the side setback and violates Denver code", "No, we don't recommend installing shade sales because they are dangerous", "please work with a general contractor for anything that touches the house, like the outdoor shower and the pergola over the grill", etc).

I hired Lifescape Colorado because I thought 1) it would reduce the work on my plate, and 2) It would be a cohesive experience moving from design to integration.

These goals haven't been met, and I feel like there's minimal value in the project plan provided (which is just a general layout that violates Denver code). Consequently, I won't be moving forward with the $122,300 project plan, and I need to start from scratch with a new firm.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend working with Lifescape Colorado.

Had a great experience with Jared Campbell who worked on our sprinkler system. Went above and beyond on a Saturday when our sprinkler broke and we weren't able to water our new trees and shrubs. He saved us hours of hand watering. So grateful!

Great experience with Lifescape, specifically the irrigation team. I’d recommend Jared! He’s knowledgeable, responsive and transparent. We have a commercial size sprinkler system and they get us up and running in one day.

Lifescape’s Garden Manager, Karolina, makes regular visits to our property to provide guidance to the weekly maintenance crew that does excellent work every week with mowing, pruning, weeding, edging, fluffing the mulch and debris removal in our turf and perennial bed areas. Karolina also recommended the addition of an irrigation head in an area of the yard that was showing some stress. Josh, with the irrigation team, was available in just a few days to complete the work. There are good signs that the problem is now gone. Thank you Lifescape!

We have used a number of companies over the years, and are very happy with the landscape maintenance service that we receive from Lifescape Colorado. Our job foreman and crew are absolutely excellent, and Sierra, our site manager, is very responsive to any needs we have, making regular visits to ensure the quality of work being done.

We’ve worked with Kenny on a couple of projects and always appreciate his responsiveness, knowledge, and timeliness in both quoting and getting the project scheduled. The crews completed quickly and careful, leaving our yard better than they found it. And we are thrilled with the results. The best time to plant a tree is ten years ago - if you didn’t do it then, Kenny will help you today. :)

Our multi-unit business has worked with Lifescape for many years. We have completed both small and large scale landscaping projects with them, on-going maintenance of the properties, including holiday lighting, snow removal and irrigation needs. We have never been disappointed with the quality of their work. Our Account Manager, Casey has great communication and keeps our team informed about upcoming visits, projects and he regularly goes out of his way to complete on-site walks to ensure consistent performance by his team. There have been times where he has gone above and beyond and even out of scope to help us, for example bringing us loaner caution cones when our parking lot had an unexpected sinkhole. We appreciate Lifescape and all that they do to keep our businesses attractive to our guests.

I have been using Lifescape for 3 years now. Jared, my irrigation contact is always at my beckon call. For example, I text him over the weekend with a concern that I had and he text me back immediately and said he would come out as soon as he could. I sent the text on Saturday night and he showed up today (Monday) to fix the problem. Can't ask for better service! Another person I want to give kudos to is Anna Pulchalski, my garden manager. She is just like Jared, always available to take my calls/text even after hours. I am impressed with Anna because of her horticulture knowledge. I wanted someone to look at my yard and garden and tell me if there is something going on and then offer a resolution to the problem. (She sees this in her weekly visits.) She sees things before they start getting bad. I need her expert opinion because I am very hands on with my yard and I don't have the knowledge to know things I need to do.

Our condominium has partnered with Lifescape for several years. We have been extremely pleased with their service and the attention Lifescape has paid to our needs and unique circumstances. While our Service Managers may have changed over the years, their level of service has not wavered one iota.

Sierra has been our garden manager for about a year now. She has great communication skills and follow through, which my husband I appreciate immensely. Sierra has also been pivotal in helping us solve the varied challenges we have faced over the year. She is professional, hard working, and I’ve been impressed by the initiative she demonstrates in managing our space. Thank you, Sierra for all your help!

Lifescape redesigned our new home yard to make it more usable and “Colorado-ish”. They have also maintained the yard for the past 3 years. Overall, while not inexpensive, their work is consistently high quality and our Garden Manager, Mark Singleton, is very responsive and helpful. We can highly recommend Lifescape Colorado.

My Lifescapes team of Sierra and Kyle have been truly wonderful. When I bought the property the grass was brown, the plants scraggly and sad, the irrigation system a diy nightmare and the general plan tired. Not any more! The communication is terrific, any issues have been dealt with beautifully. Landscaping changes have been easy and beautiful. The mowing and weeding crew are just fabulous. My house looks terrific and it's because of lifescapes! Now to work on next steps...
