Gustavo and team were wonderful to work with and we are so glad we choose them to landscape our front and back yards. They were efficient and did a great job. They mulched and cleaned up all the planters, added 6 trees, a rock garden, moss rock border, fixed the sprinkers, put in a drip system, and added lighting throughout. We have already recommended them to many others.

Gustavo and team were absolutely wonderful to work with! Very reasonably priced for high quality workmanship. This is a team of trustworthy, hard workers, that always showed up on time and went above and beyond our expectations. We are so pleased with everything from the concrete patio and sidewalk, to the stunning stone fire pit and surrounding landscaping. They made this a stress free experience and we would highly recommend. We look forward to working with Gustavo and team again for all of our future landscaping needs.

We hired JR (March 2023) to remove the old, tired sod from the front yard and by the street and install a new design. Although there was no drawing or plan involved, Gustavo had great suggestions and he installed 6 moss rock boulders, river rock, and new 5 gallon and one-gallon shrubs, grasses and perennials. In the yard, he put in artificial grass. He was professional, on-time, inexpensive (as landscaping goes), very pleasant and got the job done early. He and his team showed up promptly, worked hard and efficiently, did more than the contract provided (did free clean-up of the yard and extra boulders). He was very accommodating to changes mid-job and was just a joy to work with. Brandy (his spouse who runs the office side) was just as nice and pleasant as Gustavo. We hope to be in a position to have more work done and we definitely be using them again.

We have used this landscaping company for a few projects and we are very happy with the work they have done for us. The quality is outstanding and they go above and beyond with everything they do. The crew is always on time, and work longer and harder than you would expect! Also always respectful to my time and yard and if I needed to do something they let that happen (even if it was a burden to them). Gustavo has always insured that work being performed is completely done right, and that anything I questioned or needed were corrected in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Gustavo and his "Crew" for any landscaping needs. He is very knowledgeable, and will do a great job for you. I will be having him back!!!!

We worked with JR Landscapes on installing a french drain, re-grading a walkway, and building a landscape wall in our yard, and they were excellent. I interviewed 4 landscape companies before deciding that Gustavo and his team were absolutely the right fit to execute a very sizable landscaping/ lighting/ fencing/ driveway/ walkway/ french drain/ front patio/ raised garden beds/ overhaul at our home with a 12,000 sq ft lot in central Denver .

Admittedly, I am particular about everything home. Its my personal profession as an interior designer in the Denver metro to be sure everything is done to a high standard.

Gustavo was courteous, willing to work with us, and his communication skills were some of the best Ive personally seen in many years. He would greet me every morning with a smile and several questions, so he could properly direct his crews on how to best execute the work for the day. You could tell how much passion he had for our project- often times he just took initiative to do small things to ensure that things were done correctly and with attention to quality construction. He ensured EVERYTHING was done 150% to my satisfaction. Plus our project was completed in an impressive time frame. Gustavo and his crew truly care about the clients.

His wife Brandy, is equally as fabulous with returning phone calls, eliminating language barriers, and was extremely prompt about sending detailed quotes for services. Even amongst my requests for multiple change orders!

I will never have to search for another Landscape design company ever again.
We unequivocally would recommend them to anyone, even the most discerning of folks like us.

I had a drainage/erosion problem develop along the side yard of my house. Searching for a company to do this rather small job was frustrating. It was a lucky day when I called Jr Landscapes and spoke with Brandy. She is a great communicator, very efficient, and intent on providing great customer service.

I met with Gustavo who quickly sized up the problem. He proposed the expected 100 ft french drain but made other suggestions I hadn't even considered. His crew arrived a few days later and the work was completed in two days. This crew is the absolute best - polite, hard-working, quality individuals. Gustavo checked in both days to ensure work was progressing properly. The results far exceeded my expectations. Work included the french drain, river rock placed on the side yard, and filling/compacting soil by the basement egress window.

I whole-heartedly recommend this company for all landscaping needs. They are professional, honest, and provide an excellent product at a fair price. I will definitely be using them for future work. A huge thank you to Brandy and Gustavo!

Gustavo and his team at JR Landscape are awesome, They turned an “unwelcoming backyard” into our own personal retreat. Gustavo was up for the challenge as our backyard proved to have frightened away most seasoned contractors. We hired JR Landscapes to build a retaining wall and fence around our property. We couldn't be happier with the result, and will be using them for future landscaping projects. From the very beginning, both Gustavo and Brandy were honest, transparent, and communicative. Brandy provided regular updates on the permit process, which was appreciated greatly. Gustavo helped plan the project and was wonderful to work with.

Gustavo and his crew worked diligently to complete our project on time, with excellent workmanship and punctuality every day. We could trust Gustavo and his team to do what was best for us, and not just what was easiest or quickest. He had to work around a third party contractor's schedule, and when their schedule wasn't accommodating, he took it upon himself to find a proper solution. During the project, Gustavo happily worked with us to re-work a couple of minor changes to our design and provided honest input to shape our design for the better.

We worked with JR Landscapes on re-grading the side of our house, installing a french drain, and securing a retaining wall for our flower beds. After having Gustavo over to assess our backyard, we realized that water was flowing toward our foundation. He quickly recognized the problem and worked closely with us to implement the project in a timely way to limit any further damage to our home. Once the project was booked, he and his team worked incredibly quickly and creatively to address the grading issue and install the french drain. They even went above and beyond and prepared our flower beds for spring! They were very efficient, but never sacrificed quality. Honestly, one of the best investments we've made in our home. Gustavo was absolutely wonderful to work with! We received a few quotes for our backyard project and he was the quickest to come out and seemed to care the most about our project. He gave great recommendations but also delivered what we were wanting within a reasonable budget. He and his workers were fast, friendly, and did a superb job. I will use JR Landscapes for all my future projects! They did a phenomenal job! We had them tear up a driveway, use a part of the driveway for a sidewalk, remove a metal fence, boulders, etc, then put in a sprinkler system, sod and put up a partial wood fence. First off, they gave us the best quote around and they worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Gustavo gave us his professional opinion when we weren't making the right choice - to help make sure everything would last. All of their work was top notch. They put down soil/compost before laying the sod. The edging and sprinkler work was done perfectly. I couldn't be more happy with their work. On top of that, all of the guys working were super nice.

The team at JR Landscapes did a fantastic job installing a paver patio/fire pit area in our backyard. They were incredibly responsive to our request, started within a few days and knocked it out of the park. We are hiring them to come back to do some additional work as well since they did such a great job. I would highly recommend their team!!

Gustavo did an amazing job on my backyard. At first he was just going to do the stamped concrete but I ended up having him do the entire backyard landscape job. He even fitted that in so he didn’t have to came back later. I would highly recommend him.

He is very creative in what he does and came up with ideas that I would've never thought of. The new retaining walls, driveway, steps, and landscape, he produced is beautiful.
