JR Landscaping turned our nightmare of a backyard into our dream yard (in two days)! Not only was their work exceptional but their staff was extremely respectful. They have been the best contractors we have ever hired. They are incredibly professional and hard working. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

The services JR Landscaping provided included yard cleanup, leveling our yard, fixing the sprinkler system, and laying sod.

Gustavo is dedicated to customer satisfaction. He listens attentively to your needs, and produces a terrific result. His prices are fair, and he knows how to accurately estimate quantities of materials. He and his workmen are skilled and work hard. We surveyed many other businesses, and his positive, energetic attitude and proposal easily won us over. The project entailed installing a low block retaining wall to protect the new fence at the top of the property, the dismantling of an old red rock strip stone dry stack retaining wall that was falling apart, and its replacement with beautiful moss stone boulders. Some large shrubs were carefully removed and relocated to more appropriate locations on the property. We even suggested our go-to stone yard, and we all went there together to pick out the boulders. All this had to be integrated with the existing stone face retaining wall that remains. Access to the rear of the property was limited, but the team did a great job in keeping disruption to a minimum, and with no damage. The linear footage for all this was 120 feet plus two very nice step installations on either end. Start to finish was less than three weeks, exactly as he committed to. We're very pleased.

Gustavo and his team completely transformed my front yard with a new driveway, walkway, xeriscape, and drip system (as well as a sprinkler system for the backyard). I'm very pleased with the result and the timeliness in which they were able to complete the project. Gustavo took the time to collaborate with me on the landscape design and took it up a notch by creating a curved front walk. Plants will go in next spring! I will be recommending their services to family and friends.

We contracted JR Landscapes to install sprinklers, repour concrete around our house, and re-sod our front and back yard. Gustavo was an excellent partner, and his price was reasonable compared to other offers. He showed up to start the project the day after we signed the contract, and finished more than a week ahead of schedule. During the project, he was communicative and answered all our questions. His crew was friendly, efficient and they worked quickly. We love the results, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for landscaping work.

Installed French drain, extending our patio, new rock, mulch, perennials, adding and changed landscape lighting and regraded and installed new lawn. This crew is highly professional, hard working and always on time. They left the job site very clean each day and communicated well on progress. We hired JR Landscapes to overhaul our front yard and couldn't be happier with the results! Not only are Gustavo and his crew extremely friendly and professional, they went above and beyond to achieve quality results and execute our vision. Gustavo also thoroughly cleaned up the job site every night. The job consisted of demoing some old concrete, installing a new retaining wall, flower beds, concrete sidewalk, concrete stairs, fence and landscape lighting. Gustavo does it all! Gustavo was very patient with us as we changed a couple aspects during the process and accommodated all our requests. Gustavo even came back to change a couple things we weren't happy with and guaranteed all his work to our satisfaction, he is definitely the guy to hire for any landscaping needs.

We reached out to Gustavo & team on renovating our whole backyard and they did a fantastic job. We had a general idea of what we wanted and Gustavo helped us figure out the details such as water drainage, paver colors, etc. They removed an old failing deck, scraped out pea gravel, and graded the entire yard before laying pavers, a new walkway, concrete grill slab, and prep the yard for seeding! Great job paying attention to the details and making sure everything came together. Will definitely be using JR Landscapes again for any landscaping needs!

I was very impressed with Gustavo and his team from JR Landscapes LLC! They landscaped our whole yard which included building a brick retaining wall, new front steps, pavers along the side and back, a brick flower bed, sod grass and plants. The project came in one time and on budget. Gustavo was very easy going and pleasant to work with. He and his crew produce very high quality work and we couldn't be more happier with the end result. I highly recommend JR Landscapes for all your landscaping needs.

UPDATE 2: Literally had everything I ever needed for the yard done by this business. Asked them to replace another fence and put sidewalk around the house. Very happy. So quick to always help me. UPDATE: I had JR Landscapes come out and do a new fence for me as my 2nd time using them and Gustavo and team did amazing on the fence. Finishing early even. One of the team members even came back to water seal the fence for me. THANK YOU ALL! ORIGINAL: Grass was no longer an option for my aging self and wanted to be able to allow the dogs free range of the entire yard for the remainder of their lives without dealing with the fungus issues, heat, Japanese beetles, and grasshoppers, as well as all other pests anymore that the grass has caused me.
Was looking for anyone willing to come just do an estimate and the first business was shady and unreliable and would not get back to me. I messaged this one next and they responded, promised a time to come out, he was right on time that day, and evaluated everything quickly. When it came time to do the work, he came 5 days early to start already and the team finished in 2 days! I didn't care about anything fancy i just wanted a place for the dogs. They also made sure i had better edging and made me a concrete base for a future shed. Im pleased with the timeframe everything was accomplished and very happy with the outcome.

This is a long overdue review as we spent the past 6 months outside enjoying our yard. Once you see the transformation that Gustavo and his crew did on it, then you will understand why!

Our yard wraps around our house and is very influential to my family's day to day life as we enjoy being outside. When we first met Gustavo, our yard was just a dirt yard segmented into odd sections with a tired shed and a falling apart raised garden bed.

We had an idea on how to make each section more cohesive and fluid but Gustavo made sense of it and made it come alive. Across the project, Gustavo collaborated with us on our idea, communicated the plan everyday and was open to last minute adjustments. On top of that, his crew was cleanly, timely and efficient. Very professional!

In the front yard he created a mulch border around our trees and reinstalled the irrigation. The entire backyard was completely overhauled with a new pavement patio, custom built raspberry bed, grass patch (for the dog), pebble stone raised bed section, flagstone pathway with a parallel straw bed, flagstone sitting area, mulch border and reinstalled the irrigation system to fit the new layout.
